Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

OK everyone I just had a creepy thought but maybe it's true.

OK so maybe Sony wanted Michael's new album but only Michael himself had the album in his head before he died.

SO what they had to do was search for his spirit in the spirit realm.

Using their new technologies they could use Jason Malachi to channel Michael's new album from the spirit realm and onto the new album.

This explains the choppy lyrics(what they got 'down the phone'), it was very difficult to understand.

Things like "Mama say mama got you zig-zag" and "Working two jobs", "Water", "Grew up in Queens", "Keep your head up" and "Breaking news".

They wrote down what they extracted and gave it to Eddie who called up Jason and told him they had the music and it just needed to be recorded with that goat vibrato of his so that it's obviously not Michael Jackson.

Just a theory.

Farfetched.

By the way, do u have SB and W?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Yea, I'm just gonna come out and say it, I'm confident with myself that Michael isn't the lead vocals on these songs, I believe he's there in certain songs, like Monster, and that he laid the groundwork for some of these songs, but his voice has been overdubbed with someone else's and has been passed off as genuine. KYHU is my favorite song out the bunch, and it's the most convincing, but something I was ashamed to admit, due to pride, the pronunciation is literally so freaking off, it's ridiculous.

Monster, I blamed for the over-processing and whatever else it had been through. Yesterday I listened to the pre-album version, which was leaked by TAK ages ago. Although the voice sounds less processed and natural, it's really no different from the album version. Something else I wouldn't initially admit due to the pride in my belief. I had heard the version before, but I had to re-familiarize myself with it, because I hadn't heard it for quite some time.

That vibrato, still isn't Jason's vibrato, his is goat-like and short, the one of these tracks are goat-like and carry out, which I believe is due to the editing to "Michael it up".

Water, I like, but I don't recall Michael's vocals being featured on the lead of the chorus of Heaven Can Wait, it's possible that there's a demo out there, but the voice is similar to that on the rest of the Cascio tracks, which implies to me, someone re-sung it.

Soldier Boy, was just the nail in the coffin for me. From the terrible vocals, to the almost identical riffs of a Malachi song, it's almost like he said "I agree to do this, but the beats have to be similar to something I've done before". Almost like a guideline to keep himself in check.

So here I am, IMO, I was wrong. I hope some proof comes out one day that again proves me wrong on this. But I won't hold my breath.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Does anyone possess some music?
On top of that music, is there a voice?
Oh wait on tv I see a soldier. I think I'm gonna zap. Oh, now I see a woman delivering a baby. It's a boy!
Phew! Now, I need a glass of water!

BTW, I have a mediaplayer which can play MP3 songs.

Mamacita's singer is singin,g some songs.

Hmmmm, why am I thinking of mails and postmen?

Oh yeah, silly me, if you want you can always pm me with some mp3 files. Thanks, I hope I was clear enough.

Damn, the Casio defenders (as we're called) are getting less and less people as time goes on.

even you admit you don't think it's michael on soldier boy. does it make sense that out of the six cascio tracks we have heard, five out of six are genuine. but, they decided to fabricate one?

one fake song is one too many.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

it's not just the logical conclusion, it's really the ONLY conclusion. which is why i'm confident the truth will come out, some day. even if it doesn't . . . at least we know what's going on.

btw, where the heck is sam? :(

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

The main thing making me doubt the Cascio tracks now is how most of the fan community do not think they are Michael.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I think the leaking of new Cascio songs definitely shakes people up a bit, I've started questioning them more again now and don't really listen to them any more....gives me a weird feeling :(

I do want to hear them all, as theres always certain bits in songs that make me thing 'What the...' or 'That sounds so Michael', and its just confusing and spoils the listening of the song to the point where I'm not actually enjoying it, I think hearing more with a fresher pair of ears after all of the commotion regarding the 'Michael' release would probably allow me and others to come to a final conclusion on all this mess.

Pentum, any chance we can have the snippets again? ;)

Many of us mentioned how we don't feel michael's sparks in the Cascio tracks. Michael was one of the greatest vocalists in the world with a very distinctive voice. He's skilled and talented. How could the vocalist of HMH and BoJ sound like the vocalist of Soldier Boy?

You haven't heard the previous two snippets of SB? If so it's just those two mixed into one complete entity.

Check your pm.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Annie, as ashamed as I am to say it...

I'm with you.

"Soldier Boy" has done it for me. Though I'll still listen to and enjoy the album songs because I still have that hope that they're real, hearing that snippet - despite owning the separate ones - has just done it for me. I don't know if it's Mecha or Malachi, but I don't feel Michael in these tracks now. Like you, I feel as if the vocals have been "merged" with another's to complete them, fill them out. If it is Michael's, then they have sucked out the soul that is in that man's angelic voice. Despite whatever's happened, I just want the truth now.

No impersonator or Mecha should be on a Michael Jackson album, even if it is somehow "merging" the voice.

KYHU is my favorite song out the bunch, and it's the most convincing, but something I was ashamed to admit, due to pride, the pronunciation is literally so freaking off, it's ridiculous.

To me, KYHU also sounds the most convincing. At the beginning, I actually like the song. Yet, there are many doubtful elements in the song, from the weak song writing, to the weird vibratos, to the awkward pronounciation.

That vibrato, still isn't Jason's vibrato, his is goat-like and short, the one of these tracks are goat-like and carry out, which I believe is due to the editing to "Michael it up".

The first time I heard the TAK version (after hearing the album version), I thought may be the difference is indeed due to processing. The TAK version is less processed and thus clearer. But, just like you said, the vocals are the same.

One day, after staying away from the song for a period, I listened to the song accidentally (happend to be on my iPod playlist), I was convinced the vocalist is not all Michael because of this foreign feeling I had.

Water, I like, but I don't recall Michael's vocals being featured on the lead of the chorus of Heaven Can Wait, it's possible that there's a demo out there, but the voice is similar to that on the rest of the Cascio tracks, which implies to me, someone re-sung it.

Soldier Boy is indeed terrible. After listening to this horrible snippet with such weird pronounciation, they really need to do a LOT to convince me Michael sang Soulja Boy.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

It seems like the perfect time to. Again, despite my new beliefs, I'll still listen to "Breaking News" and "Monster" if only for their composition.

God, "Soldier Boy"... Why'd you have to have that pronunciation...

I feel really sad now... I really need a hug.

I feel really sad now...

In Breaking News, they have the awkward "obituary"

In KYHU, they have the awkward "restaurant"

In Soldier Boy, they have the awkward "soldier"

There must be something wrong with the NJ water that Michael drank when he stayed with the Cascios. He couldn't pronounce words right!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Aaaah.... WINNING.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I don't know what to think anymore, I just know one thing:

Despite what these songs are, they can't happen again.

No Mecha or Malachi, just pure, unedited MJ all the way. These songs are gutted of that, made into a machine. I'm now waiting for the Teddy produced MJ song called "Demon".

DISCLAIMER: I use the name Malachi as the universal name of imitators.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Relax, Cascio songs will never appear on an MJ album again.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Regardless of whether they're of the Cascio brand, digital processing of that angel's voice is forbidden! I decree it! "Hollywood Tonight" was botched by it, and I don't want to see Teddy create "Demon", the song that he always wanted MJ to sing!

If you need to use Melodyne to make a Michael Jackson song releasable:
A) Don't release it - the altered one, that is (AKA Jackson-stein)
B) You need to have your producing card taken away for even considering altering that beautiful, undefinable voice!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I feel so terrible now, after having that song sink it all in... Whatever they did to those songs, his essence is not in those songs. There was a trace of it in the album version of "Hollywood Tonight"... But that song...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

WHY IS THAT?! :bugeyed

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

"Soldier Boy" just doesn't sound like him. The pronunciation is just off... I hear MJ in the other songs, but they sound... Soulless. That snippet just brought it all home.

I wish I was man enough to fulfill my promise to completely give up MJ if I came that conclusion... But I love the man too much. He gave me my life back.
