If I might - at least for me this is not true. The issue with Jackson's is they make too many claims without backing it up. For example for a minute let's remember what Taryll did, he sent out 10 or so tweets about the subject and promised to protect his Uncle. and that's it. and that's the issue for me (and for some other people). I mean look around you all have been posting on this thread for quite some time, pentum has been doing comparison videos, posting information around, trying to make a difference , trying to get their voices heard etc etc.. and then tell me what Taryll did to protect his uncle's legacy if there's really such a fraud? 10 tweets and that was it. If they start backing up their words then I'll listen. They turned to "boy cried wolf" by labeling everything and everyone a fake and a fraud.

And as for the media do not get too excited as they probably never report a "fraud" because allegations of criminal acts is defamation per se in USA. At most they can - and they did - report the controversy about the vocals. Legit media would never say "It's fake / fraud" unless they can back it up with proof.

Happy Easter Ivy. I see your point. If fans like us have such a hard time letting this issue go, I can't imagine people who are close to Michael can just give up so easily. I don't know if they are doing something on their own behind the scene?

Sorry, to be off topic for a moment, I'm watching the Vision now. What a weekend for me! I've had non-stop MJ weekend.

Why Thriller is not in 16:9 formatt? I thought Thriller was shot in film... I didn't forget about Sam's complain about the black box around Thriller on iPhone. But, I'm watching the short films on a SONY TV with a SONY Blu-ray player. How can it look so bad? The color of Billie Jean, Beat It and Thriller look off. BAD looks better. But, still not in 16:9.

Yes, isn't it lovely that Thriller is surrounded by a black border? What a great way to watch the greatest video of all time....Michael paid out of his own pocket to have it shot on film, correct?

ivy, I agree with your comments about Taryll. I've always felt that it's really strange he sent those 10 or so tweets and then stopped.

TWYMMF is not even watchable. Man In The Mirror looks like copy from a copy from a copy. Oh my god! What's wrong with the Sony people? They are the major developer of high definition and Blu-ray technology and they come up with such inferior product?

I'm not kidding my old VHS tape looks better than this Vision crap. Sorry, I'm not angry because I spent my hard earned money on this set (I own many of the videos already). I'm angry because the greatest video of all time is presented in such crappy way...

I don't know the in-and-out of video technology. But, come on, there must be a better way to prepare this DVD. This screams MONEY GRAB.

What's the difference between Vision and the Number Ones DVD I have? Is the Number Ones DVD better or the same?

HIStory on Films definitely looks better. Let me put it this way. If I have friends come over and we would like some quality MJ time, I'd play HIStory instead of Vision.

Vision looks like dupes from VHS. I don't know how it's possible for a DVD set releases in 2010 to be inferior than the one released a decade ago.

It's such a shame. I don't know why Thriller can't be presented in a better way. Smooth Criminal looks out-of-this-world amazing on Moonwalker Blu-ray.

I'll pay an insane amount of money if I can watch all of Michael's short films and concerts in high definition.

Yes! I know...TWYMMF is SO grainy...The picture is VERY grainy at times, and then it's VERY clear at times...you can't even watch it! Plus that green flash in ITC, and no audio in the beginning of WYBT....AND, some of the sound quality is pretty brutal too....It's absolutely ridiculous, really...It's a total money grab....Easy to dupe fans into buying everything with the name Michael Jackson tacked onto it...What a disappointment...I don't even watch Vision....I always watch HIStory on Film, or Dangerous Short Films...The quality is far superior...

Yeah... the sound is unnecessarily brutally loud. I'd recommend people to get Dangerous, HIStory and Number One's instead.

I actually like the idea of Vision - to have all of Michael's masterpieces in one collection. But, why did they have to screw the quality so much? If they don't have time to upgrade the materials and ensure the quality, then don't release it in 2010. I don't mind waiting for another few years. May be by then the technology becomes more cost feasible for them to do a Blu-ray release.

Watching Dangerous now. Gave up on Vision. So much fun to watch Dangerous. Haven't watched it for a while. All those behind-the-scene stuff is fun and Michael looked too hot in the Grammy.

oooh, definitely! All I know is that I'm grateful I have Smooth Criminal on BluRay as it's my absolute fave short film....

Same here! It's what got me hooked on MJ's pure talent. That, and "Michael Jackson's Ghosts", but I was a very young kid when that came out, so I couldn't appreciate it as much as I adore it now.

Smooth Criminal is glorious in Bluray. The whole Moonwalker movie makes my mouth water. :) I love it. Michael was so ahead of the technology of his time, I think one of those things is that Michael's quality is so much bigger and larger than life that the technology could barely keep up with him.

Yes, Ghosts is another masterpiece....Love that one too....It's genius in every way and carries a message...The choreography is out of this world, too....K, now I wanna watch some MJ videos :lol:

Agreed, "Ghosts" has some of the best choreography, period. Only MJ's genius can create steps like that, and convey such a hurt, lonely message.

Completely agree....What I've always loved about his choreography is that it can be so intricate, yet he makes it look so effortless..His backup dancers are obviously the best of the best, yet I've never seen one come close to Michael ...

ok, so that made absolutely no sense to me. Pentum's comparison videos show how the cascio tracks actually do sound like JM.

This one just put hollywood tonight and some JM song back to back. they don't sound alike at all. i don't get it.

OH jk, is it mamacita? OK, nevermind, i got it, i didn't recognize the song, i try not to listen to JM if i can help it.

I'm so glad, I didn't buy the Visions DVD. Sounds like Sony didn't want to invest any money in it. All they want is to make a fast buck. :smilerolleyes:
