I remember Nathan Jay (the guy who put TMA together) said he would be willing to make an entire album of songs in that style for "a couple thousand". (I assume he means dollars.)
 
Goodness, that'd be awesome. Wish we could all pitch in and get him to do it! Would be excellent. All Michael, though, wouldn't care to hear any other musicians spliced like that.

(the last vocal is debatable but I still think it's from On The Line processed a bit, or it could be 2000 Watts with pitch adjusted)

Marcus has a similar voice to MJ's ballad voice, but he's not very good with the grit/adlib voice. On the other hand Jason is very good with that.

A lot of people try impersonating MJ and end up sounding like 3T or Ne-Yo, or like a Janet song with the formants tweaked to sound like a guy.

Those aren't out at all in full? The first two clips I mean.. They sound alright. Not near as good as Take Me Away, but interesting enough to give a listen or two and see if they're good. Take Me Away definitely has a high quality to it. The instrumental is superbly crafted while those beats sound rather generic.
 
no the guy just made snippets and first called them MJ unreleased songs. So many people were convinced.

I'd probably be as upset as I am with the Cascio tracks if the estate tried releasing songs like that. You may as well trot a robot out on stage in an MJ mask and charge us to see a "Michael Jackson" concert.

Yeah... you basically just said exactly what I said only you switched the N and the M around in the first names how clever and you may have switched the last name letters too but I just can't tell because they're both J's but really wow how pointless was this, this was really pointless there was just like no meaning whatsoever to do this at all and to bother and take the time to do something this ridiculous and silly wow just wow that's all I really got to say because I just can't believe you would take the time to just take what I said in my post basically only you didn't add any opinion or anything you just took the two names so really there was like nothing added only subtracted by this post so you should really just be ashamed bumper snippet be ashamed shame shame because you know there was no reason for this and I know and everyone else here knows and we're all just waiting for some sort of explanation to this madness. thanks. aniram.

I'm so sorry bumper snipped I did not by any means mean to mean burst your bubble :( but however I was very confused by your post so I was asking for its due explanation of course everyone was in outrage when you posted it, leaving their jobs and getting tear gas thrown at them as they marched in protest of the switching of characters. Maybe perhaps then it was not I who burst your bubble but the entire world did when they reacted to your symbol magic and really good black friday deals. I admit my words maybe were a little harsh when I said shame like four times, its OK rite ppl make mistakes so plz forgive. I just came for simple answers to the Mathan Jay and Nichael Jackson scandal that exploded today and I get these attacks. I know this is the cascio thread and there is a lot of heat boiling inside the premises but we cant do this back and forth bickering we have to work together as a team.

OMG, 2009 pages? Longest thread I've ever seen, but this is a big deal. Regardless of who is singing (NOT Michael) the Cascio tracks, they suck and should just disappear forever.
 
If, by SOME miracle, some act of God, some kind of magic, Michael WAS the Cascio vocalist, I would be extremely disappointed in him. These are without a doubt the worst songs in his discography and do not deserve the honor of having the name Michael Jackson attached to them.

I think they definitely stand out by a longshot from anything in his discography, not just in song quality but just the sound, aura and energy, nearly everything about them is off-putting.

I played a snippet of KYHU for a friend the other day without telling him that it was meant to be an MJ track. He knows I'm a fan but doesn't know anything about the controversy. I asked him if he knew who the song was by and he said "I'll tell you who it's not. Michael Jackson." I then tried a bit of Breaking News. Same response. "That guy is singing with about ten per cent of the soul of Michael Jackson and he sounds a lot younger." Just to be sure I then played a bit of Another Day. "I can tell straight away that's him."

Even non fans aren't fooled by these obvious fakes.
 
I am not aware of Jason Malachi's music at all. Don't know any song of him, as I don't care to analyse all this though I have listened to him couple of times. To be honest only Cascio tracks I've listened to are ones from Michael album plus Black Widow, others I know very little. Sometimes people like Frank or Pentum on MSN play me some stuff. They play some bit of Cascio and bit of Jason's songs whatever it is but sounds very similiar both melody-wise and vocally-wise, I was certain the voice is same as voice in Cascios. I thought I heard just another Cascio playing lol, well each time I get "surprised" that it has actually nothing to do with Cascio songs, that is just another Jason's song.

Jason Cupeta aka Jason Malachi is the lead vocalist on all 12 Cascio songs. Michael had no involvement in the writing, production or recording of them. It is absolutely disgusting what they did.
 
I will never forget how excited I was for Breaking News when I heard the snippet. I didn't visit any MJ sites or do anything MJ related except like listen to him on my iPod, until the night of the premiere when I remember looking down at the clock and realizing it had just struck midnight on the day of the premiere. I went to the website excitedly and the stream was already up, maybe it'd been up for an hour or so because of the time difference, or it had just been uploaded. I remember listening and my heart sinking, that strange sick feeling in my gut and that sadness sweeping over my body as I realized that it wasn't really Michael singing. There was just no way. I remember hollering for my mom to come listen, and she too was immediately like "That's not Michael."

I just don't get it. I will forever be baffled by this whole situation, unless it gets completely solved and exposed. After listening to the song again a few times, I remember justifying to myself that it probably was Michael because it sounded a awful lot like Let Me Let Go, vocal wise, and I believed that was a genuine Michael Jackson song from 2007. Then I realized that song wasn't real and it became impossible to ignore.

I know I've told this story a few times but it's just insane! And how the exact same sort of situations that Stella describes have happened with myself and many others here. It's no coincidence.
 
Well, because long time ago, after reading reactions of a serious part of the fans here and in other fora, to me it would seem really embarrassing if it turned out to be Michael as the leadsinger... and the disliking for the songs is so big... that makes me hope, honestly hope it is indeed Jason Malachi or an other imposter and certainly not Michael in those songs. Rather I'd like to think it is an imposter than considering the possibility it is Michael, after all what is said... I would be afraid to dishonour Michael thinking it is him singing...
