Yes, MD Prince and Brad Buxer are working on their "secret project" which is most likely related to Cirque's "The One". The fact that they received those hard drives only recently and considering that work on music is often starting just a few months prior to their scheduled usage, it would perfectly fit with Cirque's timeline.
His comment about discovering "hidden gems" doesn't have to indicate unknown songs but rather unknown alternate takes and stuff like that. MD Prince and Brad Buxer have alrady submitted their own work with Michael to the Estate in 2009. ;)

Bringing in MP and BB to work on a Ciruqe show? Nah, not happening. I am confident they are actually working on legit stuff right now. Maybe a CD coming out in the end of this year or so. Just not "The One" stuff.

Yes, it would be crazy to bring these producers to work on remixes.

I feel happy we will get something new. Our MJ was a workaholic and that is fortunate for us that we will get gifts like these new releases. Imagine if there was nothing for release that would be painful. The estate will pick and choose what to release a little bit at a time to stretch things out. I was thinking, maybe the next album of unreleased songs could be called 'ONE' and put some of the new songs on the Cirque shows. It would be like a tour promoting the album.
I don't know why it has to be 2 different projects when it can be ONE great project.

That's what I thought a while back. I really hope it's not a new cirque album. no offense but the shows do absolutely nothing for me. The last soundtrack was IMO not good to just sit back and listen to. It's a live show you have to be there to experience it. No DVD for me either. I'm sure the shows are great but no Michael no interest for me. Maybe MDP will drop another hint. If not time for me to take a break from the board. I just want a new album that it.
 
As far as I'm aware the new mixes to ONE are already done. So what would their purpose be?

Agreed. Kevin Antunes has already done all the mixes for Cirque. What do people think they are rehearsing to?

On a separate note, the full setlist for One can be found on the wall in the video on the official website. This happened with Immortal too and it turned out to be accurate.
 
As others have already said someone asked Michael Prince a question on his picture with Bruce about finding hidden songs. I wonder if these are legit hidden songs that he knew nothing about or songs Michael work on with other people. Has anyone noticed if any new songs were registered?

Toth, Your backhanded comment was insulting to members in general not just to the person you were replying to and that is why you were called on it. This has nothing to do with insecurity it has to do with your arrogant tone and the way you are insulting and speaking down to MJJC members and staff on the board and It's been getting progressively worse. Had the above been the only post like that most likely it would slide. Secure people allow other opinions and are able to discuss them without resorting to insults and personal attacks to intimidate as you have been doing. Please stop doing that. You can see them better in this video cos it is HD. There are some on the far left and far right that I can't make out. Man In The Mirror should be in there somewhere cos it's mentioned in the creators credits for a specific effect. You can make out quite a lot of things in that video and it also shows which acts are dance and which are acrobats. Seem to be a lot more acrobats.

Surprised they didn't even use one unheard song, I think using one unheard song would spice the show up a bit.
 
I think that's sure we'll got a new album. These rumours and posts indicate there a new album is in working and we should expect a new release.
I don't think it will be MJONE related, because, if the Estate release a soundtrack album, it won't be successful, just like Immortal.

Thanks Stella. I give them props for throwing in some of Michael's lesser-known recordings (Speechless, Get on the Floor, You Rock My World) although I'm not sure just how much is performed. I for one am thrilled to finally see The Way You Make Me Feel on the set list, one of my favorite songs by Michael. I really wouldn't mind another Cirque album if they give us the down-tempo intro Michael used at the Grammys and several other performances.

I agree; Michael Prince has been dropping some serious hints in the last few months and the way he puts things make it seem that a new studio album is in the cards. I'm sure if a new album doesn't drop this year fans will be... disappointed, to say the very least.

Taking a quick look through the US Copyright Office I didn't see any new titles. But I would figure that the estate would wait until the official track listing was announced to register any songs; it's what they did with the new songs on Bad 25.

I love it that they included Earth Song poem in the show. Ever since it was released I wished Michael read it on stage. It would have been breathtaking... And this is as close as we can get.

That is true cuz they did already do a cd for the immortal show so there would no point in doing another one
 
Immortal Album was successful as far as soundtrack albums go. I think they will also release a soundtrack of Michael Jackson ONE produced by Kevin Atunes. These sell very well at the Cirq shows. But that doesn't mean they are not working on an album of new material via Michael Prince and Brad Buxer. Its evident they are based on the topic and discussions here.

Maybe a double album?
 
I remember that BAD25 was announced March 2012, and released September 2012.

So if there's still no any official announcement of a new album in the near future, we may have nothing in this summer or even later this year. :black_eye:

I think by 'double album' Razvan meant disc one would be the album to the Cirque show and disc two would be a new studio album. I think it'd be pretty cool to see something like that be done but as far as a double-disc CD of solely unreleased material... that will never happen.
