Michael Jackson's Vision' DVD Boxed Set Available Everywhere Monday November 22

TOTALLY AMAZING!! Can't wait

We should all be delighted, Can't believe some people are moaning! Sony/Estate have done a GREAT job here.

Ghosts (full version) will be on BluRay some point in the future, maybe in 3D along with Thriller. That's obvious.

And to be honest, the guys who are moaning about it missing videos like We are the world and What more can l give, they are hardly indicitive of Michael's short film vision and would take forever to get clearance from all the artists.

Yes, more COULD have been included, but the same fans begging for TDCAU prison and stuff and so hungry to see OMC should be happy/ I know I am!! :)

There isn't much more they can give us, people. This is it. His legend continues...
 
WOW, can't wait. Another Part Of Me live in DVD quality is more than enough for me! Will be interesting to see One More Chance as well.

I hope if its the real One More chance video.... which I highly highly highly doubt, I hope someone puts it on Youtube cause all these videos are already on DVD basically.

I rather it be Kansas City :ninja: I already have Wembley from VH-1 Soul.

I think the tracklist is amazing, but I, too, am disappointed the full version of Ghosts won't be on it. Hopefully they'll release that seperately down the road along with the making of.
 
interesting but no extra footage no remasterisation no blu ray they could have done much better
 
Chalk me up as another moaner. I hate when they announce it as the definitive version with all of Michael Jackson's videos and then omit some of the most famous ones. We are the World and the full version of Ghosts should be included and the normal version of BOTDF would be much better (also one of my favorite videos).

Also as a collection titled "VISION" why not fill up the rest of the DVD with behind the scenes featurettes so we can truly see his leadership and VISION while filming the music videos. 35 minutes on disc 3 is just wasted…

Obviously they see potential in Ghosts to make more money with it if it's released as a separate DVD/Blue-Ray. I cannot blame them. It's still gonna be a great collection.

Just think about it. How many times have you thought: "I wish/pray that someday, somehow, I could see the video for One More Chance!"

Well, guys... The day is almost here!!! Sure, the boxset could be even better with a few additions. But I'm happy with what we're getting, and hopeful, that Ghosts will someday be released in full version with the making of.

I'm so happy to finally see OMC, but I also think it will be very very emotional.. One more chance to see something new from Michael. Bittersweet :cry:
 
They could have gone the extra mile and included behind-the-scene extras as well as director commentaries on some of the videos. Including the remix of BOTDF is also a bone-headed decision. It looks like a good product, but I don't need it personally, and it's aimed more at the mainstream market than at fans.

And as a replacement for a new album, this is completely disappointing.

Also, some people on another board are disputing the idea that the new OMC video will be the actual video they started shooting in 2003. Some say it will be the montage-like thing they eventually showed on TV for the promotion on the Number Ones CD.

It clearly states in the description, "the debut of the R.Kelly penned short film", meaning it's most likely a full video.
 
Some fans always find a reason to moan. Unbelievable. Are they ever happy with anything?
 
The full version of can you Feel it is also on the DVD. You should check out the intro of it

They should've included 'Making of Thriller'. You' ve got to agree with that one

One More Chance is not the montage, it is never before seen Short Film from 2003. Vision is not replacement for new album, new album will be released in December or early 2011.

Let's hope it's completed or finished with some outtakes for the video

I'm never happy with re-releases and re-packagings of stuff I already own. Call me crazy, but I don't like spending 40 $ on a new cardboard box, a new 4 minute video and a ton of stuff I already have on DVD or can find on Youtube.

I'm not as good with predictions as some of our insiders here (ha!), but I'll predict this : a lot of people here will buy this on release day, be excited for 30 minutes, and then put it on the shelf and never care about it again.

Let's be honest : how many people bought the TII "soundtrack" only to regret it a few days or weeks later? This is the same thing, but in video form.

And the thought that the new album is now indefinitely on hold because of this boxed set is enraging : all these months of waiting, for nothing! Who knows if we'll even get a new album now.

The full version of GHOSTS is obviously being held for a future release. Other than some viewings on Vh1, this is pretty much a lost gem in North America. To most people this will be brand new, I can totally see them releasing this around Halloween as a special edition.
I wouldn't doubt it if Ghosts and Thriller are both converted to 3D and shown as a double feature somewhere. it's just sad that Stan Winston isn't here to oversee a possible 3D conversion ;o( Having the short version on the new dvd will only wet the appetite for new fans, which in the long run will be good.

Interesting that they included speed Demon and Come Together because as far as I know, these were not considered short films but apart of "Moonwalker". Not a big deal in fact it's cool, I just wonder now what the incentive to release Moonwalker in North America is when so much is being used for this release? ofcourse you guys overseas don't have to worry about that as you have it on dvd AND BLU! Lucky ;o)
 
So what about this one more chance? it says R. Kelly but does that mean we dont have michael in the video?
 
I don't have dangerous Short Films so this new set comes handy. And I always wanted You rock my world Full. And I care about picture quality a lot so I believe the quality will be even better than History on film 1/2

Yeah!, c'mon, if i was Sony i'll release this DVD set and a BD!...this is bs!, im so angry about that, we deserve the better quality and all, we have been supportive and patient all these years with their compilation $hit stuff.

I hope a review from one of you expert audio and image guys, about the quality of image and remastered audio, if it's worth it i'll buy it...

Now, it looks very cheap and as an attempt to sell something to fans, oh... with ONE new video.
What joy!

I personally am disappointed!
