These kids are so gonna face a major backlash, I see it happening already and it will all be the Jackson's fault! Again I say, why does'nt anyone in that family care about Michael's wishes for his children????? Has Michael's history in that family not taught them anything? Is the spotlight that important to them? Its just ridiculous!

I'm know right! People hardly talked about the kids when Mike was alive because unlike his family he did not expose them to the world all the time. While the children especially Paris are getting love & support they are at the same getting attacked. What's even worse is that Paris twitter account is verified so she's even MORE vulnerable to unnecessary hate.
 
Nobody get mad at me for saying this. But if Prince does say to people a lot "My father wouldn't do it this way" makes me smile. It just shows to me that his father's influence in still there. If Blanket keeps his hair long because of Michael liking it that it's sweet. I hope the kids are focusing on their schooling. Michael would want that. I can't believe how different things are now. I hope they will be okay in the long run.
 
I cant belive blanket is in the mag too.. my god soon he probably will have a twitter page the way things are going :doh:

I remember in that promotional video for the MJ tribute in Japan, Prince said that Michael was the best father and raised them the right way. Honestly, I think their pops influence is still there.

I agree. Since he was the oldest it wouldn't surprise me if Michael talked to him about things. He is very smart and he seems very grounded for someone his age.
 
Just read the People article on the stand. They piss me off. The whole article pretty much makes it sounds like what a relief Michael died because these kids are now being raised by katherine therefore they are "normal" now. They show a picture of Michael with the kids outside while wearing their masks in 09 next to a picture of the kids this year at some amusement park - showing it side by side so we can view the difference of their upbringing then and now.

You know these kids were going to be in show business sooner or later, Michael knew it very well. Nobody forced Paris to do this movie. She's been wanting to be an actress and this project came along. From what I read, she convinced Katherine to let her be in this movie. It is something that she believes is close to Michael's heart - the environment. It is a wholesome movie that will bring money to schools. I don't see a problem with it. I have a feeling Paris is going to be very big, she is beautiful and smart and hopefully has learned the lessons of her father and will follow his advice because I am pretty sure Michael talked to her about the good and bad of Hollywood.

About the kids being everywhere. They have been to all their dad's tributes. What would you want them to do? Hide and never show their faces? This was inevitable. And if it was my father, I would want to be there to show support for my father.

I'm of course, always leary of the Jackson family motives but so far I don't see a problem with the big exception of the Oprah interview, I certainly did not like that. Let's just hope for the best for these kids.
 
^The rags have been saying that since he passed away. I hate it when they say that. They will never have their father's love. His love for his kids was far greater than all of the Jackson's love combined - if we can even call whatever they feel towards them, love, that is. They were his priority. They are not the Jackson's priority.

Anybody who knew and worked for Michael, praised his parenting and saw the bond they shared. It sickens me to hear anyone question Michael's parenting. Those children are NOT better off without Michael. They never were, they never will be.

Fans shouldn't contribute to the sales by buying this shit.
 
A saw it myself tonight and I had a friend of mine say to me out how is it that you barely saw these kids when there Father was alive now you see them too much? Bills to pay grown kids to support

I can do nothing but agree. To be honest, I getting sick of seeing Michael's kids. They're becoming like Jermaine and Toya when it comes to, 'not you again'. I am not blaming the kids for this but the 'guardians'.

I ask myself, how many famous kids lost their parent and are turn into naivete items soon afterward. I can't think of any.
 
That article is just sad,..Katherine KNEW,,the world KNEW that Michael's 3 precious gems were his children. WHY they have to continue to be put out there every other day is sickening. Ya know if I didn't know better I would think that Michael was crying in Heaven right now for his children. But I know that there is no pain or tears in Heaven. The best that we can hope for is that Michael's spirit will continue to guide these kids, I really am all talked out about this stuff. The change that has taken place in the last 2 1/2 years is shocking. Michael wouldn't have them paraded in front of the media..so WHY is Katherine?? SHE is suppose to be the next best thing for the children now that Michael is gone...again I will say,,,Katherine has failed at keeping them away from the filthy media. It makes me just want to throw my hands up and say,,ok..I am done caring about what happens,,,I cannot change it.,..so WHY get emotionally upset about it?? probably because I love Michael and that means that his wishes for his children mean something to me,.,a mere fan...I wish his mother felt the same.

Like i mentioned earlier people mag did not talk with the kids. The information is coming from Marlon, Jackie, Genevieve, and the ever present insider. Access Hollywood got the real exclusive, not people. Prince was not talking about the moon walk. The source said Prince always say" my father wouldn't do it that way." Inside the mag there is a new photo with Katherine and the kids.

This is show biz, where using each other is second nature.

hardly surprising when certain jacksons have said that directly. the media hated that mj protected his kids cause they couldnt make money off them. now the jacksons have handed the kids to the media on a platter the media will say the kids are now normal ie we can make money off them.
 
I'm not sad for the kids. Prince and Paris are not babies, so if they don't want to be in these medias they could say " no ".

This is sad, but I'm only a MJ fan, so his kids or his family, it's not my problem.

Paris Jackson is finally following her father into show business.

The 13-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson will star in the upcoming Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys, a mixed live-action and animation movie, as a girl who survives being brainwashed by a jellyfish queen in the ocean.

Filming begins in January. Three Keys is first in a series of five Lundon O'Malley movies to which she's committed, producer Stephen Sobisky tells PEOPLE.

"She wants to be an actress," says Sobisky. "She wants to take on her dad's legacy and do something good for the world and our product does that."

He says that half the profits from the movie and book versions of the story, featuring Paris on the cover, will be donated to schools.

Paris will appear as a live-action "human character" along with animated characters voiced by Larry King and wife Shawn, Joey Fatone and The Love Boat's Ted Lange.

The release date is not set yet and the filming locations are being kept under wraps.

"She is a sweet, smart girl," says Sobisky. "Our goal is to make sure she has a fun time doing something that keeps her busy. We're a family-driven group. For me, Paris is going to be like one of my children and I'm going to protect just like I do my other three kids. We want her to enjoy this experience."

Dosen't her agents/lawyers have to 'run' this by Paris and since she's a minor her guardian? - before it's aired posted printed..?

These pictues has been in magazines since 2009 the same way. I'm not surprised, nothing new.

Also - reading posts in this thread - what other magazines have the childred been in recently? only one is People I'm aware of, besides Michael doing the Ok mag. shoots when they was little..?
Public appearences I can think of..
I know they appeared at the Cirque show in Canada and America premieres to see the show & show support and spoke in support to E! ET Paris is going to be on Ellen and work on movie series Prince went to Germany on behalf of his father for Bambi awards and charity The (Jacksons) MF tribute in the UK - The Grammys 2010 Prince & Paris spoke accepted Life Achievement Award on behalf of their dad - Also donated their fathers art work to childrens hospital. X Factor USA (MJ Week) Oh yeah they was on Oprah for a few minutes and GMA.

I think it's wrong Michael's children are in the media practically every week. I agree with many of the posts on this thread as say exactly what I think.

Michael's children had a far more normal life when Michael was alive, few people knew what they looked and sounded like as Michael rightly protected them. And living a life in the media on a weekly basis is not normal. Another thing is not just to place blame on Katherine and the Jackson family. But also the media's obsession with the children of famous people in general, like Tom Cruise's, children of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and Madonna. Some of these stars have paraded their children in the media since they were babies, and created this sick obsession. But it's not right to have grown men take photos of children, if these children didn't have famous parents, the paps would be viewed a perverts.

Well about money I have a question... How does the Jackson Family make money when the kids go out in public. As long as I know if they make some money that money would be FOR THEM, I dont think the State would let the Jackson make any deals with the kids so they can make money and according to USA law for celebrity kids any money the kids make have to go to them, not no one else. So how over exposing this kids make money for the Jacksons?
And if they are making money, that is illegal :mello:

MAybe they are being over exposed, but like someone else said here if there was a tribute for my father I would definitely want to go.
 
^^ It's cheque book journalism. All these titbits about the children ending up in tmz, people mag etc, there's no doubt someone is getting paid. And who's going to check it out for impropriety? I can imagine there's only concern on mj boards. And very odd that whenever teh children go to an amusement park or cinema - the paps are there - prob some bodyguard or even family member making a few phone calls.

Prince, Paris, and Blanket recently attended a taping of The X Factor, checked out the Las Vegas opening of Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil and the Michael Jackson Fan Fest memorabilia exhibit. And now Paris, 13, has landed her first acting role in the film Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys.

"They're doing well," their uncle Marlon tells PEOPLE.

Much of the credit for their happiness goes to their grandmother, Katherine, who has been raising the kids since their father's death. "My grandmother is 81, but she’s very hands-on," says their first cousin Genevieve, Randy's daughter.

While they may be mini-celebs with multimillion-dollar trust funds reportedly waiting for them when they turn 30 – their father's estate earned $445 million in the past two years alone, according to Forbes – the kids are leading relatively normal lives.

After years of home-schooling, Prince, 14, and Paris now attend a private school. "They love the social aspect of it," says a family insider, noting Prince is "a great student" and "really popular with the girls." Paris, meanwhile, plays on the boys' flag-football team but isn't dating. Explains the insider: "She's got too many uncles keeping an eye on her."

As for little brother Blanket (real name: Prince Michael II), 9, the shy boy is schooled at their seven-bedroom Calabasas, Calif., home, where he's also been getting an education in the kitchen. "He likes cooking," says the insider. "He'll make cakes and cupcakes. The staff chef helps him."

But the real passion for all three kids is entertainment. While Paris is focused on acting, her brothers are into filmmaking. "Prince and Blanket want to be directors," says Genevieve, a music artist. "They make home movies together and recruit their cousins to act in them.” She adds, "The cousins are all very close.”

Having that bond is how the Jackson 3 remain grounded, says their uncle Jackie. "They stay with the family. That's what it's about. We keep a close watch on them."

I sort of feel sorry for the OTHER "25-30" grandchildren of Katherine and Joseph Jackson.

I mean, "some" of them also have aspirations of being in show business. What happened to their PUSH from the grandparents?

I, personally, see history repeating itself with the jealousy to follow!
