Michael jacKson's father is very upset with the media

Michael deserves the title "King of Pop" or "King of Music." He is intelligent, creative, talented and beautiful artist is its trajectory. Michael has made amazing music and their art will be forever marked in the music scene. I'm sure there is never another artist who has half the talent that Michael has. Michael is single. For me it will always be the genius of music. The greatest artist that the world may know already: complete in every way. He will always be the "King" and his throne will always be! :)​

Had the sales been a flop, then surely they would have been all over
that like white on rice. And would most likely still be harping on it to this day.


On another note: I always questioned, in my mind, weather it was
really Elizabeth Taylor who dubbed MJ The KOP. As someone stated
earlier in this thread that it was the MEDIA; and thats what I
always thought until I started reading fan boards.

^ The media first named him "the prince of rhythm and blues" after "Off the Wall" came out and after "Thriller", "the current king of popular music" or something like that.

i'm sure a lot of families go through the valleys, but they have their peaks too. and i know it's tempting for us to interfere..but, no matter how dramatic it is...it's between the family and themselves, and their belief system, if they have one. Michael might probably prefer that he handle his own family business. he's experienced enough to do so, i'm sure. sure we wanna defend him, but in the end, it's out of our hands. there is a fine line between defending MJ and interfering with him...no matter how powerful the temptation is.

I wish this could be posted on Every Fan Board and read before posting. It won't be popular or very well recieved by the masses but it is the truth.

when stacey brown was running his damn mouth and then jermaine chimed in to defend his brother, everyone was issued a letter telling them to shut up if they ain' t his councel thebest thing they could do for mj was to shaddup!

stacey even read the damn letter on the tv.

so the statement above me that was quoted would only ring true if said brother didn't issue letters to said family memebrs and 'friends' wishing they'd stop runnjing their mouths to the media and everyone else.

they do more harm than good cuz instead of running a story about mj's record breaking sales, they'll run a story about how his dad is m ad. let him be mad. i'd ratherbe mad that that then something else

y u think mj doesn't whine about every rumor? it brings more attention to it. the rest of the family should folllow suit

I completely understand your point and under "normal" circumstances I would agree 100% but we are talking about Michael Jackson.
I don't think MJ "whines" as you put it about every rumor because, I DO NOT BELIEVE HIS HANDLERS ALWAYS GIVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY OF KNOWING WHATS GOING ON AROUND HIM. We have learned through the years that many times, he doesn't know whats going on until much later or not at all.
When he does not repsond to something, I do not feel its due to being strategic, because of the things we've learned of his handlers, my initial thought is to wonder whether or not someone in his camp have told him about whatever's in the media at that time.

I do get your point though and I respect it fully.
 
I dont kow what you guys are talking , but here in france and even europe at least UK , everybody know he sold out 50 concerts .

I have non_fans friends who told me that "do you know mj sold out 50 concerts" , it was all over the tv news in prime time .

maybe is it the US media who boycott him and this info..?

mos def here in the usa i totally agree with that
 
everybody in the usa still knows he sold out 50 concerts. they have the internet and they are too savvy for the media, and you can tell by the MJ outings in beverlyhills, that the general public is aware of MJ's viability and relevance, in both the usa and the rest of the world.

America knew what was going on, lol. We're no different. :lol: It's just that you have to find it amid crazy talk about something else. But I'm sure it's like that everywhere else.
 
they know he sold out too cuz they were talking about it but they'd rather talk about him going to stores in bright green ass jackets than the fact he's breaking records left and right. let it speak for itself. it doesn't need anything added to it
 
especially the usa media, unfortunately, which brings to mind a saying that a person isn't necessarily tributed in his own homeland..but..good to have the internet, so the usa fans and general public has overcome their media. so, it doesn't really matter what the media says at this point.
 
eartha kitt left hte states and had a better career overseas and they respected her more over there. it's a damn shame but WHO CARES? let it speak for itself. it gets pathetic after awhile when all they canmake fun of is his clothes or his mask.

I have actually heard this throughout the years from celeb's during interviews and even VJ's from back in the day, they too pointed out how unfair the US media are to there own celebrities.
No wonder entertainers like Eartha Kitt and Donna Summer leave the United States.
