I've seen the infomercial for the box set hosted by Smokey Robinson with Eddie Levert, there's some Jackson 5 stuff on it.

If they announced then they must of got all the material together.......

I'm sure they'll release it eventually!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the growing rumours of a new MJ Album coming soon, this DVD might be release as part of their promotion............

Or they might be in the process of creating the Blu Ray version (along with making BDs of existing MJ DVDs) because a lot of people would prefer to buy BDs instead of DVDs!!!!!!!

^^^^But Sony doesn't own the footage, so it wouldn't have anything to do with any album releases. Don Cornelius or whoever he leased/sold it to is in charge of Soul Train. Time Life leased it for a certain amount of time, so no one else can release the ST stuff unless they get permission.

thats not the logic of economy.
Sony has nothing to do with this... so they would not want it
on the market while people should be spending money only
for the new Sony album.
its always been like this... see thriller and ET Story Book LP.

i really hope this DVD still gets a release anyway..
but it seemed strange / too good to be true from the beginning......
J5 and 90s MJ on one DVD... that screams for legal difficulties.
