It sounds pretty much the same to me.

But, I am not up in arms over it, because this is a leaked version online- I'll wait for the album that I preordered. I am having my thoughts on leaked stuff, so often it's not the final official release.

Definitely a lack of bridges in 'Michael', that's where you can definitely tell the absence of Maestro himself. Maestro writes killer bridges, Is it Scary- Monster needs a bridge like that.

I still LOVE the song as such though. I could see some amazing choreography going on with Monster.

Thats why I said 90%;) But oke maybe not off the wall, but thriller and bad for sure.

I would really love to hear an album like that. (If you recognize me on here you would know ;) )
But I guess the producers who worked on these songs didn't want to use that on the album for some reason. It doesn't have to ruin the songs. (at least I hope it doesn't )
I haven't heard them yet so I can't really judge the songs yet.

Who knows what the future might bring.
There might be songs out there that do have that sound.(Again maybe just wishfull thinking on my part though)

Hai Iris;)

No i know its because of those modern producers. He needed some jazz producer, someone who knows about music not computers;) I think it ruins the song. Hopefully you like it better than i do. Let me know;)
 
Lol guys, use google to find what you are looking for!
Little tips: albums are shared as ***.rar archives nowadays, so use RAR keyword in your searches! Use "+" sign and double quotes in your searches! And never ever dare to write FREE in your searches unless you wanna get a bunch of trojans!
 
Just listened a little bit to each track, I don't know what to say...it's too overproduced for my taste plus the MP3s are clipping as hell. From what I've heard I'd say it would be better if these songs will never be released, at least not in this form. But I have to listen carefully at my proper stereo at home with the uncompressed files aka real CD.
Every album Michael did is better than this compilation, but that's what I've expected anyway.

I want a special experience on the day of RELEASE.
I want to buy it in a store, take off the wrapper and sit and listen to it on disc. The way it should be!
 
I still feel the same ever since Breaking News came out. I'm proud at myself!

And those songs, sound... GOOOD!!
 
I don't think YT links of songs on the album are allowed. And you could definitely sense Michael's absence on some of these songs, like Hollywood Tonight, the beat goes right into something that would be an epic bridge. But instead we get Taj, speaking through like a radio feed effect. I love Michael's beatboxing though...

I haven't listened yet, no...And, I won't be....I've listened to all the snippets, but I'd rather hear the album fresh when it comes out....:D
 
Fantastic album. Really satisfied with the quality!
I'm still in doubts with BN and Monster though! But its quite good songs, not just Michael!

Same here! I could feel my will power crumbling away as I was reading through this thread but I have managed to get through it and not ask for a PM! :D

I can't wait for my CD now! :)

Yes, it's getting really difficult to resist...I wanna hear BTM SO bad...I heard the little snippet and I'm drooling....I heard someone describe the whole song as 'GODLY'...so yeah, this is hard to resist....I'm at work right now, but I'm like, catatonic right now, I wanna listen so bad...:lol:

And what happened? The server was busy for a couple minutes, I always thinking something came or something like the HMH MV, so I went to the mj site and look but nothing was there. :hysterical:
 
I caved and listened to it. It's so awesome! :D
 
I really like the final version of Monster, I thought I wouldn't, especially with the rap from 50, but this and Hollywood Tonight are my favorite songs so far.
 
I think all the Cascio tracks are MJ, but it sounds like they've added a vibrato effect to his voice. It doesn't quite sound natural.
