Doing fine here, Seven :)
How are you?

I feel you.
And I've only been studying and cleaning this weekend :(

I am good thanks. Home a little early as the tube strike started at 5pm here. Think the tubes are still running but didnt want to take a chance!

I've been learning to cook this weekend  and ironing!!!! horrah! My vague attempts at domestication. I swear ironing makes me really determined to redouble my efforts to get a good job so that I can pay someone to do the blasted ironing for me :swoon:

What pure bliss it would be to have a cleaner

What did you cook?

Come back Michael!

Oooh Seven, it's good that you are already home! :D
How was work today?

I am pretty lucky this week, because they are gonna let more trains ride this week.
It's a test to see how it goes if certain trains are gonna ride every 10 minutes, instead of every 30 minutes. :jump:

Good to be home early :) I did put in some work over the last 2 weekends so my job owes me some time.

Sounds like a good thing with your trains!

Oh I forgot to tell you guys, that 2 weeks ago or so...
I had a dream, and Michael was in it.

Nothing special though. Hehe, I wish

I was in this mansion, probably his.
Sitting on the ground, with other people in a group. And there were also 2 girls I know from highschool. And Michael was in front of us, like talking and stuff.
And those 2 girls were all sabotaging, and talking through it all the time. At one point Michael got mad, and took them out. So I went after them, to calm him down and tell him it's okay, they're not worth it.

He was so mad!

That's it :mello:

Heya peeps :hiya:

Well I've learnt to cook a cheese sauce and a stir-fry and the fact that when you peel potatoes you should leave them in water or else they go brown  omg I need so much help..I can extract miniscule amounts of RNA but I am woefully poor at pototoe cooking theory. :(

off to the blue lagoon tonight with the rents :snorkle:

MACROS!!!!!! :shout: Anyone remember the word Macros?:mello:

 well it's a skill I just haven't ever learnt, along with ironing and clothes washing and ya basic household cleaning. I'm mortally afraid of domestos cos I know what's in it ans what's in it can kill you and make you blind  These skills are not taught in school anymore, my cooking classes involved making fairy cakes and watching docus about packaging factories. I'm a person of very specific but utterly useless-in-everyday-situations skills that result from my type of education. My mum has put me on scientist's domestication 101 over the last few weeks and I'm learning. Today I learnt that you should prick baked potaoes before putting them in the microwave and not afterwards otherwise they will spray juice in your face

omg *feels useless* would anybody like their DNA analysed cos thats something I can do

Aww Katie

We can't all be good at everything. I was taught cooking at home and school (we had a scary teacher :bugeyed) so it is natural to me.

Put me in a lab and it would blow up :D
