Hi All :hiya:

How is everyone?

I didn't get an interview for the job I wanted. I was told a name of someone who had gone for it and I can see that if they have 2 or 3 like her doing almost that role already who have applied I can see why I didn't get an interview.

Smudge went to the vets tonight - dodgy tummy. He is OK at the moment nothing serious the vet thinks but I have to collect samples if he does not get better :bugeyed

I did have a good meeting with my manager today, we are working on how I can make the next step in my career so that has given me a boost :D

I've been studying for my next research project, really exciting stuff! My dad is still having no luck finding the internet password so I'm still unable to get macro-making. grrr

off to go swimming now in this pool where they turn off the main lights and have just underwater blue lighting which makes it look like a blue lagoon :woohoo: and then they play music, MJ MUSIC :woohoo: yayness!!

Sorry I missed you girl. I've been watching a couple movies and have been trying like mad to fight sleep all day. The liquid diet is kicking my ass to the curb. Not even sure if I'll be able to work out tonight. Damn near collapsed in the shower last night after doing so :mello:

a crumble is a type of dessert pie yes. Usually containing some kind of fruit mostly likely rhubarb or apple at which point it is 'rhubarb crumble' or 'apple crumble' so it contains the fruit and then the crumble topping. this is what wiki says :D

Ah you beat me to it :lol: Basically here in the US we call that crisp or cobbler :hungry: God, now you've got me wanting this killer apple crisp that we used to make years ago. The crumbly stuff on top, if I remember correctly, was Jiffy yellow cake batter and brown sugar. OMFG, my mouth's watering just thinking about it lol.

School started this week, been really busy. Got tons of homework already, and I need to do my very best not to fall asleep during the 3-hour lectures :blush:

Life here is OK but really busy at work. Grad season has truly begun with our grads starting and we are about to launch the applications for the next lot :bugeyed

re watched the long version of Bad last nihgt. Haven't seen that in ages :cloud9:

I've had lectures like that and you do tend to drift off after 15 minutes :D mostly Michael's fault that :lol: but the lectures are all powerpoints and we get the slide prints beforehand anyway so its ok :D I'm so lazy :lol: How many grads do you take seven, I would haver thought you'd only have so many jobs at any one time and after a few years they would all be filled, or is there a big turnover?

Our area took 16 grads this year but we'll take about 26 next year. They take a lot of work :D In total the company took on about 70 odd.



And Katie: Thriller story is well underway :D

We don't get the powerpoint slides beforehand, but we do need to read the chapters of the book before the lectures. But we didn't know that, so that was the little problem. Most of us didn't have the books yet.

I get distracted VERY quickly and easy, so it's hard to pay attention for that long.
I'm gonna sit in the front next time, so I can hear the teacher better. When everybody is talking, you're quiet...and when you're talking everybody else is silent. :scratch:

What are your plans for this weekend? :D

This weekend I am being a lazy ass really :blush: I am writing through :writing: Katie's suggested a story about Thriller Michael's first time and that is now well underway :D


Next week there is a tube strike :puke: The journey is so bad when the tubes aren't running, I can get into London by overground train but even if I get there before 7am there are hundreds of people waiting for buses. Hope it gets called off
 
oooh dear riley, I 'd be hopeless with having to pay that much attention. I can't focus for that long, thoughts of dinner or sleep or michael get in the way :lol: In my first year I didnt have time for book reading, I had to read everything about Michael. Felt like I was doing two degrees, one in genetics, one in MJ :D

oooooh dear seven nooooooo strikes!! I loathe replacement buses!
