Re: New--- Lisa Marie Presley on Michael Jackson
You hit the nail on the head... it is the total hyprocrisy! Being nice now is much too late so it's best not to say anything at all. I remember watching Barbara Walters on the View when LaToya was on there talking about Murray and then she said ' we love Michael' I could've punched the tv screen. That old hag participated in that 2003 lynching of MJ over Bashir's rotten behind and she had the audacity to say 'we love Michael'.. Those kinds of things make me sick to my stomach. And Lisa is the same way. Like you said she was embarrassed and ashamed of MJ before 2009 ( he was the worst mistake in her life) and now suddenly I was in love with him, he was lovable and no way was he gay and let me take sunflowers to his tomb and ask his fans to show him love or let me stand by his casket and pretend like I am sad.. It's just sickening because Mike was struggling and needed help and she kicked him when he was down. Don't play compassionate and loving now. It won't work and it means nothing to him.
Before June 25 she was embarassed to have been married to Michael. After June 25 she wasn't. Since his death she hasn't said a mean, disgusting things like she had said before. That's true. Even a nice comment rubs people the wrong way as weird as that sounds. If Oprah today started saying nice things now it would rub people the wrong way because of her behavior towards Michael before he died.
The problem is not that the fans don't see that Michael was a real person with feelings. The public and the media never saw him as a real person. Just look at the ridiculous things they ask Lisa then and now. People treated Michael like he was a weirdo, freak or some alien. When he made a mistake he was crucified for it relentlessly. If someone else made a mistake eventually people would forget and move on. Michael can't have sex, Michael can't have kids, Michael can't have a drink etc. Last time I saw he was a real human being.
This doesn't have to be about Lisa at all. It could be anybody here. The day Michael died Al Sharpton said where was the love for him yesterday? I actually envy Elvis and John Lennon for example. Their lives were not watched and ripped apart by the public and the media. Not the way they did to Michael. Even Madonna called it a witch hunt. After their death they were treated with respect and dignity. I want that for Michael. Since his death there has been so much hypocricy by so many people.
I think everyone has different tolerant levels of what they want to hear or who they want to hear from. Some people may not give a crap what Lisa says good or bad because she means nothing to them. For others she can rub them the wrong way and prefer not to hear anything from her even it is a good thing. The tolerant levels can change but it might take others a little longer to get where you are at.
