well..people on here posting that america's top model had women pose in meat, so, apparently it can be done..i guess if you have enough money, there is a way to prepare the dress

The designer explained how it is real meat. Apperiantly they used a certain type of meat that didn't bleed or smell to badly.

Btw funny thing, she stated as a part of the reason while wearing the meat dress that she is "not a piece of meat". So what does she do then? Go to the airport in a bra and panties. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the way you should dress if you don't want to be viewed as a piece of meat.

The woman is a walking contradicion. She acts like she wanted to make a point but it's obvious (at least to me it is) that her reasoning didn't/doesn't make any sense.
If she wanted to bring attention to gay rights, why wear a meat dress? What does one have to do with the other?

She should be honest. Say that she wanted attention. Or at least come out saying: "I wanted people to pay attention to me so I could give awereness to....." and even better would be wearing something then that has something to do with the cause she wants to support.
Right now it seems like she is more interested in getting press for herself (most people aren't even aware of her reasoning for it) then in the cause she claims she did it for.

Also as an artist I would think the music would be more important to her then her clothing but it seems to be that she just wants to be famous, no matter in what way. Nobody is seriously praising her music. When they talk about her,they talk about her wardrobe.
This is why I cringe when I hear media claiming she is "innovative,genius ,etc"

p.s: Sorry for the rant, I know there are also Gaga fans on this forum.

The fact that there is even a discussion about this here proves that her whole attention seeking get-up is working. And yes, that dress is disgusting and completely unnecessary!

What is this? The 4th or 5th Lady Gaga thread I've seen in here?

I know the designer is saying it's real, but I still don't believe it. As said before, it would be a dripping, bloody, sopping mess. Meat bleeds! The only way it could have been real is if it were jerky (which it's too red to be) or frozen (again, clearly it is not). I don't care if that irrelevant show had models wear meat for two seconds to snap a picture or not. That dress couldn't have been real. She would have been leaving a trail behind her as the dress fell apart and bled all over the place. It's NOT sanitary! Do you think Cher would have held a purse made of meat for Gaga or anyone else? Hell no! The designer is simply playing in to the controversy. If it's fake, no one will talk. No one will care.

I really should stop replying to threads about this woman like others have said. lol
I tried this time but after reading about it everywhere I just needed to vent somewhere I guess.

EXACTLY! I wish a mod can just put all the multiple Lady Gaga threads into just one main thread labeled "Lady Gaga". All the crazy news regarding her can just be placed in there instead of making multiple threads.

I find it so bugging that she gets a lot of threads while there are artists and bands that deserve a thread at least! SMH.
