Just wanted to say that it's sad what has become of an incredibly talented, charming young girl like Stefani.

Sad that she, as well as a host of other artists sell their souls to acquire humongous stardom. And nowadays, this is more obvious than probably ever before, from the videos, seething of occult symbolism, the song lyrics, performances and all that. This is what children are overexposed to. It's really sad that pseudo-artists (which they have become) like these have so many fans or listeners who enjoy their dirty music, buy their records, follow them on Twitter, sing their songs or emulate their behavioral patterns. Their songs are catchy as hell (pun or no pun intended), and I too have them on my mind on repeat very often, even if I hear one line or two.
It's just mind-boggling to read, for instance, YouTube comments out of curiosity that defend these so-called art manifestations, saying 'Oh, Y or Z are simply displaying their art, pushing the envelope, challenging the viewer' and so on. If swallowing sacred rosaries, cavorting in churches, wearing inverted drawn crosses down the genital area, showing up practically naked, wearing devil horns, promoting promiscuity, scatterbrainness and homosexuality in a gross, ostentatious manner and so on and so forth are actions worth justifying, and by so many, that is just sad. And even if they aren't by others, they're still not being criticized, save for a selected few, often viewed as a bunch of oversensitive crazies or fake puritans - which, in some cases, is true. But this doesn't matter. What matters is that we're grossly being fed darker and darker images and worlds and people who have done / would do anything to gain fame and fortune, thus serve their own gods, by defying our only One. And we're just displaying our passive-agressive, at times, total apathic reactions to things suchlike, that we're not even being lied to and fooled beautifully. It's so downright in our faces at times, and we're still blind to see it.
I fear the future, thus I prefer to not think of it. It's such a terrible, crying shame that there's no room, nor time for changes anymore.
