Jermaine's Child Support Plea -- I'm Broke, No Joke

I came to this thread to write a serious post but then I saw the below quoted post

I'm very surprised that Jermaine hasn't taken advantage of the obvious California Raisin endorsement opportunity.

:) I can't write anything after this, it's too funny

I had to google this to understand but that is too funny

Jermaine broke? No shit?!? Who would have thought that? With MJ no longer here for him to leech off, his money channel has run dry.

Get a fucking job you dead beat.

Jermaine Jackson owes so much in back child support his driver's license has been confiscated, and he's not getting it back until he antes up around $100,000.

jermale.jpg

TMZ has obtained court documents showing Jermaine owes $91,921.55 in child support for Jaafar and Jermajesty. $3,000 a month really adds up.

The docs, filed by the L.A. County Child Support Services Dept., suggest Jermaine hasn't been very forthcoming on his income stream. According to Child Support Services ... Jermaine claims his monthly income is $1,448 per month, but never filed the proper paperwork to support it.

The Department doesn't want to give Jermaine his driver's license back until he pays in full. We could not reach Jermaine for comment.

Pretty interesting ... Jermaine's baby mama, Alejandra, has just been kicked out of the Jackson family homestead in Encino and she's none too pleased.

Will Alejandra seek revenge?

Stay tuned

This is so shameful. Jerma is a great father. Congratulations to him... :fear:

I've always wondered how the brothers survived all these years. None of them have worked and they've all relied on MJ to get this reunion tour together. Since Mike is no longer here, what are their plans?

I "guess" they will continue to do what they have been doing recently, i.e. mainly PAID interviews and appearances. Although I don't see that lasting much longer, except for when the yearly anniversary of MJ's death comes around.)

Jackie Jackson has his new clothing line, I'm not sure how well that's gonna work out with NO promotion. Then you have the two $900.00 Michael Jackson themed jackets. Shoot, folks ain't got that type of money. LOL! Things are tight. And I'm not sure his new single got the reaction he was looking for.

I think Jermaine Jackson got a wake up call when he did that show in Las Vegas recently.

I think Tito has the ONLY solid plan, and that's do continue doing his own solo shows, catering to small performances for whomever is interested. (Smart move, in my opinion.)

Marlon doesn't seem to be interested in any of the above. I'm guessing that he is "trying" to obtain funding for his project in Africa.

Bottomline, I believe that their dreams of once again becoming this MEGA singing group, touring the world, is becoming a NON-reality for them and they know it, but for some reason, collectively, they don't want to go the House Of Blues route.

Well since Janet was so willing to open for them back in 2007-08 why isn't she offering them that now?

She was ACTUALLY willing to open for "Michael Jackson," in my opinion, but of course she could never say that for fear of hurting the feelings of the other 4-5 brothers. LOL!

Because when you think about it, Janet could have added her OTHER brothers to her shows years ago, if she wanted to. She wasn't interested in the brothers without Michael back then, and she isn't interested in them now.

Jermaine Jackson cannot come back to the United States of America ... because he owes a fortune in back child support ... TMZ has learned.

Jermaine is currently in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, Africa. We've learned his passport has expired and he can't get a new one, so he's waylaid there.

Here's what we know. n May 2008, Jermaine's baby mama Alejandra got a child support order, requiring him to pay $3,000 a month. Jermaine went into arrears almost immediately and, as of last month, he owed $91,921.

Under California law, when someone owes more than $2,500 a month in child support, the State Department of Child Support Services automatically informs the feds of the delinquency, and the feds then flag the person's passport. Once the passport expires, it will not be renewed until the person becomes current on child support obligations.

Our sources say Jermaine's passport expired during his trip, he can't get a new one and he's stuck overseas.

If Jermaine doesn't clear up the debt, it's unclear if the American Embassy will come to the rescue ... though we're told in these situations the Embassy will often issue temporary papers so the person can return to the U.S.

though your passport has to have x amount of months on it left when u go to most places where u need a visa

What a dummy! why did'nt he get his documents updated before going to Africa knowing that the expiration date would pass while there?

And this explains why he was a no show in court this week.

BTW.....know what I think? now that MJ is no longer here to bail out anyone, we are gonna see more financial dramas playing out. We already see whats taking place now with Alejandra. Nobody can rely on the kindness of MJ anymore, its a whole different ball game.

Its usually six months. When I went to the US for three months in 2006 when I was due to come back to the UK my passport would have had four months left so I had to get a passport renewal before I went. They wouldn't let me back in the UK otherwise despite being a British Citizen.

Sophielo, but you don't need a Visa for the US do you? As an EU citizen?
I see denial is still strong..

OMG!

Jerma not have much luck, really. :bugeyed

...And how would TMZ know about this?

All members of the Jackson family have Harvey's number on speed dial, all of them are now informants against each other. Every time one of them needs a quick pay he/she calls Harvey with juicy news on other Jackson, it will get worse , watch and see.:mello:

You need to fill out a visa waiver form on the plane but you need to pay £9.50 now before you leave which lasts two years for access to the US.

Jermaine Jackson -- Stuck in Africa

DANG, the "wheels are falling off" when it comes to Jermaine Jackson!

It's like one thing after another (IF this story is true):

The Child Support situation.

The Las Vegas concert that didn't go according to plan.

The robbery of his belongs from his home.

The supposed foreclosure of his home.

AND NOW this "stuck in Africa" news.

What the heck is going on, I hope he has enough "hair product" to hold him down, while he's "stranded" in Africa. LOL!

I've read that in cases like this, the USA consulate provides a short term

extention to the passport, so that the person can return to the country.
