In its modern form, a gated community is a form of residential community or housing estate containing strictly controlled entrances for pedestrians, bicycles, and automobiles, and sometimes characterised by a closed perimeter of walls and fences

That's the ticket right there, i.e. "STRICTLY controlled entrances for....."

I wonder if whomever is responsible for running this gated community will be conducting their OWN investigation. I mean, folks pay a lot of money for the security available in this type of community and I'm guessing they will have to ensure that the REST of the community is safe and that there is no need for concern.
 
For someone to steal from his home it would have to be someone he knew someone who had access to his house and someone who knew what was in that bag and which bag it was in and where he was going to keep it. I mean if they went home and unpacked or took the bags up to there room them that thief was out of luck. ESP when you stop to to consider that the perpetrator took nothing else not the other bags or things in the house. Having said all of that we don't know the full story I am sure there is more to it. I hope there is more to it
 
The burglar did us no good...he or she should have muzzled Jermaine and confiscated all shoe waxes in the house.
 
To be fair, its not impossible to burglarize a home in a gated community.. look what happened to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, look what happened to Paris Hilton.. their houses are in a gated community as well but were targeted
