Janet's Number One's World Tour Official Thread

Which site sells the tickets to Oslo? Is it sold out already?

The presale for Vancouver has already started! They are doing this quite sloppy, not many even know about the dates and then they are going on sale near enough instantly! But it doesn't really matter as with the venues being small they'll most likely sell out with plenty of time to spare.

I hope she makes some changes to the European leg of the tour, I wish she would use the holograms she used for the Essence Music Festival performance, it was awesome! Check it out:

Finally a new date:

LA The Greek - September 1st

I like how she's doing a lot of outdoor venues for this one, and they seem to be bigger capacity too

There is also rumors from a legitimate Spanish ticketing agency that Janet will be in Barcelona on July 12th, but her site has confirmed nothing. They need to get their act together if its true, its only around the corner.

I will be in New York waiting to celebrate Michael's birthday on August 27th with thousands of other fans

I don't know what you're replying to here, but that comment came off as kind of rude. Michael was born on the 29th, anyway LOL!

Janet is coming back to LA!

So there are still new European dates coming, I'm hoping for Sweden or Finland so much!!! Or even Russia!

I'd hope for some more dates too, I think there's currently around 12 dates, she should try for around 20-30 at least. I've heard rumors of Zurich and Milan perhaps a second leg. I hope she adds more, Eastern Europe would be cool too, Feedback did well over there too, so it would make sense.

Still waiting for her Australian dates too! I hope she comes before the end of the year.

I know she's definitely coming to Sydney, but I'm just waiting to see what other cities she's going to do. I kinda already applied for the 20 under 20 for Sydney though, ah well! So maybe November/December then? I hope it's before January when I turn 21, haha!

I think she'll do Melbourn, Sydney and Brisbane, I think she'll add a date in New Zealand too. I think it will definitely be before the end of the year, November/December sounds about right to me. I heard she only plans on touring until the end of the year, but then again at first she only wanted to do 35 cities, I guess she has to cater to the demand. I do think that if you sent your application to the 20 under 20 while you were still 20 they wouldn't mind, I've heard of people who are over 20 winning the competition before, so I don't think it would harm your chances :).

I wish they would have gotten all the dates together first and then released them all at once. I can't decide if I should jump on Montreal or hold out to see where else she will be.

I agree. It's very difficult to decide should I buy a ticket now when we don't know what cities will be announced in the future.

So true! I bought a ticket for Paris because Paris, London & Monaco were the only European dates for a loooong time. So now she's also coming to Germany and I can't go because my flight is already booked for Paris and its on the same date as the concert. Bad timing :( If they had announced all the dates at once, it would have been possible to arrange differently. So, in the end, I guess this procedure hurts ticket sales so I don't get why they do it!

I think she is adding dates as she goes along.Probably because the last tour she did before this one did not sell out, she is being more cautious;hence the smaller venues , the lack of pyrotechnics(equates to less production costs), the "Up close and personal".

I think they have the dates and are announcing them as they go along to make it more anticipated, but at this point it is just getting annoying to be honest I wish they at least just announced each leg at once like she did the North American leg. I don't think sales of the last tour have much to do with it though, as while not all the shows sold out, they weren't particularly low.

They were not low, but they were not spectacular.I doubt that for this tour she would have sold out 30,000 capacity arenas for all the dates she has done so far. Also, her last few albums(including the greatest hits album) have not sold in large numbers so she realises that she is not as big a draw as she once was. It happens to most pop stars with time.
I really believe that they had some dates in place but other dates, especially most of the ones for what they are calling the second leg,are being added as they go along.
