The only difference is ciara does that matrix move in every routine she does.. also she does alot of jumping around, like she shows more athleticism in her routines. N janet moves just as much of her body as the other 2. Also, i dont care how sexual janets music is, she has never shook her behind and coochie popped like the other two. If you consider that moving more of your body, okay then.(not a diss just a weird observation cause her music is more sexual than theirs)

Well StacyJ and TwinklEE are well known Janet haters in this section, and never fail to take shots at Janet whenever possible. Quite predictable. Janet is obviously the greatest dancer of all time imo. She has displayed this for 20 years and counting. Beyonce nor Ciara can out dance her and even they know this. Ciara's dancing is one dimensional and really hasn't changed since she debuted. And Beyonce's dancing is very elementary imo.

I dont see why you cant like both, cause I do. My favorite beyonce cd is bday and when i am first came out I wore that cd out. My fav janet cd is between rhythm nation n velvet rope. discpline is growing on me also, its not a bad cd by todays standards.
i think some people dont realize that youre not gonna be on top forever. I dont care how good you are. janet was HUGE in the late 80s and most of the 90s but most kids 2day are too young to remember that. She also managed to be huge when she had heavy competition like whitney, madonna, n mariah carey. beyonce didnt really have any competition for a good minute. Rihanna came and gave her a lil bit n lady gaga is giving her some now. N im sorry, but there is no way in hell beyonce should have 16 grammys. 8 at the most but not 16.

yes she does understand family loyalty and I give Beyonce props for that. I don't think one would ever see or hear Beyonce selling out her sister on some national talk show. Also Beyonce isn't even related to Michael but she has shown more respect and love for him since his death than Mike's own siblings. That speaks volumes to me

I definitely enjoy both. Beyonce is my favorite entertainer/performer behind Janet and Mike. A lot of Janet and Beyonce's younger fans overlap depending on the age. Control launched Janet to superstar status, RN1814 put her at megastar status and critics finally started putting her in the ranks of Madonna, Mike, and Prince.

The reason why Beyonce has 16 Grammys is because there is a lack of talent in today's industry. She has virtually no competition imo. Back in the day great albums were being released practically annually (Thriller, Purple Rain, Whitney Houston, Control, True Blue, etc). Now days you get a great album once every blue moon.

And as you can see, StacyJ still has an agenda, relentlessly, ridiculously, and pointlessly pursing it. I live for the day when she and TwinklEE get banned form this section, or banned altogether.

This may get me banned but i dnt think janet was lying. mike was human he had problems like everyone else. with all he had been through in life becoming dependent on medicine tht has a high addiction rate really isnt tht bad. especially since he could have been on illicit drugs. I dnt think he was a junkie. i just think he had 2 take medicicne for illness, aches n pains tht he had, but he may have took more than he should have at times. i wish he could have got from around those bad people in his inner circle cause they definitely werent helping. even teddy said in an interview tht if mj knew you would object to something he was doing, he wouldnt do it around you. he also said tht he needed them because he had aches n pains 2. n if what janet said was such a lie, then why would teddy say tht. (teddy was asked, why janet had said in an interview a long time ago tht she hadnt seen her brother in abt 2 yrs. he wasnt saying thts exactly the reason y, but tht could be a reason y they or other family didnt see each other as often) just my 2cents

i like beyonce behind mj, jj, n m. carey also. i think tht had anybody else had the success janet has had in her career, they would be touted as the next best thing. i think because she is mikes sister she doesnt recieve the credit she deserves. especially with all the competition she had coming up. i also think m. carey is underrated

Yea i agree she hasnt had much competition. i guess it is still good to have so many grammys, but i dnt think they hold the same signifigance as the once did. sometimes it seems like they snub people who should be recieving grammys. they need to take notes from the oscars, at least the still have their credibility
 
janet is the best dancer of the females. i can go to any hip hop/strip club and see what beyonce/ciara does

Yeah a huge problem is that die-hard Mike fans try to take all the credit for her career. It's ridiculous. Some of them, well most, are still upset over comments she made in an interview over a year ago. It's really just sad I think :lol: StacyJ is just ridiculous, she's worse than TwinklEE imo. It's like she doesn't think her posts through. Though she hates Janet, she chooses to visit topics about Janet. Seems like a conflict of interest to me.

I don't really care for Mariah as a performer, I like a good amount of her songs, but other than that she doesn't really measure up in terms of her catalog. Janet is on a different level than both Mariah and Beyonce.

yea its like they really need to move on. same thing with what latoya n jermaone said abt 20 yrs ago. im like: you do know they made up since then???? n how can you have so much hate for someone you dnt know n never met. if mike forgave them, that is all that matters. cause im sure aint none of them losing sleep over there opinions lol. n mj said burn all the tabloids, not just when they are talking about me. its funny how most of the so-called dirt they have on the family came from the same trash that bash mike. you cant pick n choose when its credible because you want to belive it. either it all has some truth or it doesnt
 
Good Job with the video TOF :) Beyonce is a great singer and has the stronger voice of the two but Janet is much more entertaining and has a better catalog.
 
I think there is more depth in Janet's albums.

But I think Beyonce has a larger vocal range.

There would be no beyonce today if Janet hadn't done it 20 years earlier :)

What you failed to mention was that it was NOT an "addiction" that killed Michael. It was Conrad Murray who MURDERED Michael with an overdose of an ANETHESIA. Murray's neglect and COVER-UP is what killed Michael. Janet's statement about Michael being in "denial" didn't address the FACT that Michael was MURDERED by an incompetent "doctor". Janet's statement also did not address that the autopsy said that there were NO drugs in Michael's system other than what Murray pumped into him. An "addict" in "denial" is NOT going to have a system basically clean of drugs. I find it hard that people can't see these facts starring them in the face.
 
Michael's fans are not trying to credit Michael with Janet's success; AND, yes WE are rightly UPSET with Janet's statement about Michael being in "denial". The fact is she would never have said this if Michael were still alive. Why say if after he was MURDERED? It's not as if he died of a self-induced "overdose". BTW, Janet NEVER ever acknowledged her husband's Rene's drug addiction. Rene was a certified DRUG ADDICT and Janet refused to even speak of it. She did the same with her other husband, James Debarge who was another REAL drug addict. The question that Janet fans need to ask is WHY would she do her beloved brother like that and basically call him an "addict" when he was MURDERED and there is NO PROOF that he was addicted to 'drugs' at the time of his murder. There is no excuse for what she did; especially, since the MURDERER is still walking free and his defense will use HER words in the trial. Ask yourselves, if things were reversed, would you JJ fans be angry IF Michael had said such a thing about Janet? Be honest and think about it.

I've never seen the comparisions of Janet and Beyonce.Beyonce is more like Michael than she is Janet. I compare Britney Spears to Janet. Their dancing, voices are similiar. Beyonce's stage presence, vocals, dancing,etc. compare more to Michael than Janet. According to Beyonce's OWN WORDS, there would be no Beyonce without MICHAEL JACKSON. Beyonce has ALWAYS said that her career is based on Michael's INFLUENCE and what he did in his career. She has always made that perfectly clear.

Props to you, and this factual post of urs among all the non factuals in this thread.
Also, Michael's family members TALK to rags that BASHED and TRASHED Michael, the same rugs that stated he needed medicine in order to resist the sexual urges he had for minor boys. Thesepeople went to the same magazine to sell out their dead brother and his orphan children.

That's like saying Chris Brown, Usher, or even Justin Bieber is a better dancer than Michael Jackson. He pioneered what they are doing...and especially in his prime, did it better than ANY of them ever could.

It's just silly at best.


Anyway, back to the point of the is thread. lol Thanks again to those that watched the videos. My favorite is obviously the Mike and Janet video (for obvious reasons, lol) Though is says "vs" it's not really pitting them against each other per se, it's just an excuse to do a video with both of them in it. lol

i agree tht muarry was the one that killed him. n janet did say tht it was muarrys fault tht he was gone n not mikes. she said tht in the 20/20 interview. n his system was not clean of drugs. the stuff tht he had a dependency on, muarry was injecting into him every night for over six wks(excluding proprofol). why would you take pills on top of what muarry was injecting. there was no need. i understand tht people thought he was taking pills at the time but i thought tht was just the media tryin to paint him a certain way.

i kno this isnt 2 me but..... why would she publiclly say her berother has a drug problem why he was here if most people dont know anything about tht. dnt you thnk tht would hurt him more than help. when he died n after the autopsy report came out, it was quite obvious. n everyone knows tht janets ex husbands had drug addictions, esp. james debarge. its known thts part of the reason they boke up. n yes she has talked abt it in the past also. n y does everyone keep saying the defense will use her words against her like they already dont know tht. i wonder what lawyer yall are talkin to. n im sure if it was a problem the lawyer for mj would have told them not to say anything at all. N no I wouldnt be mad at mike cause i actually like got into him 1st n he will always be my #1(thts not the reason). n if he said tht abt janet i would be saying the same thing i am now. what would mike have to lie for??? he knows her much better than i ever will, so why am i trippin off of someone i dnt kno n never met. n neither of them stike me tht way. now if only someone like jermaine or toya was sayin it then i wouldnt belive it. n im a fan of bot so you would have to go to a janet board n ask. n i think they would be very mad just like you guys are.
