If we mocked people on this forum we'd be banned. So what's funny about it when Jay Leno mocks people. He would have been banned long ago on this forum.

Last time I checked Jay Leno mocked MJ when he got out of hospital in pyjamas and when he was fighting for his life against the Avrizos. There's nothing funny about it, yet Jay Leno couldn't help it, could he? Do you all think Michael laughed at Jay Leno's jokes back then?

Now, Janet going to his show is just lowering herself to a chimp level of discussion, hypocrisy and total disrespect to her deceased brother who had been mocked by the very chimp Jay Leno. If she can get over it, I can't. Michael wasn't my brother, but he touched my soul.

Maybe it was a "Thank You" kiss for knocking MJ off his pedestal. We all know the siblings were jealous & pissed that MJ wouldn't tour with them. And as competitive as Janet is, no one can tell me she wasn't jealous when her brother sold out 50 dates in ONE city, while her "Rock witch u" tour was cancelled due to poor ticket sale.

MJ's death is really the best thing to happen to his family since "I want you back" hit #1 ...What MJ wasn't willing to give them in life, they got from his death.

That's an entirely accurate position to take re the media, it's just that the jackson's shtick or USP is that they are 'family' not just a business. So they can't have that particular cake and eat it - they'll just have to accept the type of criticism that appears in this thread when they do things which appear as disloyal to a family member.

Memefan I totally agree... I think they were all pissed and jealous at Mike for not touring with them and that is why they are acting like they are. That's why Janet did her theater tour and did you notice that she didn't take her brothers with her? why was she willing to be the opening act back in 2007 for her 'brothers' but now when she does her own tour not one brother went with her? I think Janet is still pissed that MJ is still outselling her even in death. I bet she, Randy and some other siblings like LaToya won't attend the Cirque De Soleil show

If your brother was fighting for his life, gets out of hospital in pyjamas to the trial, appears weak, frail and aching, and the day after a showman mocks your brother publicly in front of a reasonable large international audience on TV, I assume you wouldn't publicly kiss that guy on his mouth on TV, unless you are... And the joke is, she does this and the media still treats her like a 2nd tier superstar. That's why I find her and the especially the family (who doesn't get any ounce of respect from media) playing to the media embarrassing. And to see her fans call MJ fans deluded is a joke. The way some of them act you would think Janet got the Elvis ,The Beatles and Bob Dylan treatment from the media. IMO, they of all fans bases should understand us on this.

I know I have asked this somewhere before but Has anyone confirmed that Janet actually knows about Leno's anti MJ jokes like that picture with the pajamas? I just cant imagine Janet having nothing to do but search and keep up with who Leno's dissing each day. I wonder if Janet and MJ ever discussed Leno because Michael was quite public about disliking Leno.

Then again like qbee said, I can see where contracts in this biz make you obligated to stick to what you signed on for.I mean there is what we as the public are allowed to see and then theres what we don't know such as the legalities of the situation. Thats why I hesitate to talk smack about things I don't understand. Either way Leno is just dirty . The Entertainment biz is set up to have late night parodies about celebrities and famous people. Celeb feuds are often set up or don't mean much bc its just entertainment however I think Leno took it too far once he took the stand. Those pictures are heartbreaking to look at.

The problem is that we as a fan community in general are hurting. We are still devastated over Mike being gone. Which is understandable... the problem is we (as fans) are lashing out in effort to be protective of the only thing we have left of Michael (which is his legacy).

In regards to this topic, Janet never was and never will be as big as Michael, but nonetheless she IS a superstar in her own right, and she has her own career and projects to support and promote. If she navigated her career away from people that (to be blunt) treated Mike like s**t, she wouldn't have a career anymore. If she were to focus on bringing up her brother and constantly defending him to the masses, she wouldn't have a career anymore...simple as that.

Her being on a late night talk show (or any other show) for 5 or 10 minutes to promote a project is NOT indicative of how she feels about these people. Her being "friendly" and perhaps even "flirty" with some of her interviewers is NOT indicative of what she thinks of the things they've said and/or done in relation to her brother. It's called SHOW BUSINESS for a reason...

NO! she was recording music and filming Why Did I get Married 2 AND trying to be there in court as much as possible for Michael..
