Janet never performed in a club on this tour, or ever in fact, her tour was more theatre/arena than that, and Janet said the tour will continue this year, but as of yet, no news on dates.

Probably just going to be about her NutriSystem advert again, she's going on with her trainer Tony Martinez.

yep and Janet thinks it's cool to go on his show all the time:doh: Leno and the other pieces of trash are one reason MJ couldn't sleep at night. The whole nightmare and then having asses mock and make fun of you on a nightly basis. I have no respect for Janet Jackson anymore. Her actions before, during and after MJ's death have been reprehensible to me.
 
I'm glad Leno had to go to court though during the MJ case.

I knew it just had to kill him that he was called by the defense lol

^^Those before and after pictures kept me laughing for a long long time. Thank you.

I wish that when they go on these shows and the host question them about Michael, they would say, "By the way that comment you made about XYZ was incorrect and this is why..." However, they never do, but go on these shows, give information about Michael and his kids, and laugh and grin. Why can't they be strong and take the opportunity to correct some misconceptions as well. They will still be invited back to plug their products, because their management team will see to that. To use Ash favorite phrase BIG SIGH!!!!

I wish this too! But, it's like their afraid to or something? VERY ANNOYING! And that Leno is the slimiest of them talk show host even though they all have taken jabs at MJ. Leno to me is the worst because he doesn't give a ish about no one but himself just look at what he did to Letterman and then Connan! That shows what kind of person he really is! A DIRTY RAT!

yep it's just terrible.. It also shows the type of person that Janet is as well. One that doesn't care what someone says about her family.
 
Personally, I wonder why Janet can't just make commercials about NutriSystem (and any other project of hers as well) and post the commercial(s) on her website or an official Janet Jackson YouTube channel instead of going on shows smiling and being friendly with people who have said very disgusting things about Michael? (In my opinion).

Yes...same person would go on another talk show calling the brother she had no contact with for years a drug addict before authority wrapped up their investigation. All for the mighty dollar.

I know every family's dynamics are different and I can't push my ideals on what "loyalty" is on anyone else but I can't help but be really bothered that these family members continue to be in cahoots with the biggest Michael haters. (This isn't just for Janet, plenty of other family members have gone on the View, Oprah, Joy Behar, done magazine spreads with some of the most disrespectful magazines, etc.)

I understand that the list of people that insulted Michael when it was in fashion is unbelievably long but if you really love and care about somebody how can you endorse and giggle with the very people that have said the most hurtful things? I've always been a bit loyal to a fault but I don't think anyone can convince me that I am wrong in feeling that unless I plan on confronting these talk show hosts for their disgusting behavior when I go on their show (and the show has to be live so they can't cut out the part where I set things straight) then you really don't care about that person as much as you claim to (or you care about yourself a whole lot more). I don't care if my "buisness people" would get mad at me, if I sell a few less tickets or albums, or these hosts and magazines turn against ME for my loyalty...the only way I would come into the same room as the people that spoke so disgustingly about my brother is if I planned on punching them in the face as my rebuttal. We live in the age of social media, they do not need to go on these shows or offer exclusives to magazines, there are other ways to promote the crap they want to sell. I bet a bit more creativity and principle would eventually lead to much bigger sales than the "traditional" promotion tools. It would at least earn them a bit more respect if nothing else.

I agree wholeheartedly with you.

But one thing, the show doesn't have to air life. It is taped in front of a studio audience, you best believe if one of these siblings admonished the culprit it would hit the internet/media in an instant. Regardless, on whether they edit it out or not.

Studio audience get stories out before they air all the time...
 
Janet has always defended MJ against the press, now what she has said about 'interventions' is a different story, but she never let anyone say a bad word about Michael to her face, take her interview on Jonathan Ross for instance.
What people need to remember is this is her job, she is not going on the show because she likes him, she's going on most likely to promote something. Her opinions on him, or his on her or MJ don't come into it. Would you expect Michael not to go on all the TV shows around the world that have made fun of Janet's weight, or the superbowl incident for example?
Yes Jay Leno is beyond words, but until I see Janet going to dinner or hanging round with him, its just business.

Talking about her weight and the Superbowl incident are a non-issue, when you think about Jay Leno's actions during the trial. As far as I'm concerned, he was not at all concerned about Michael Jackson's FREEDOM!

He took the stand and TRIED to downplay what he had previously told the police. It was a very important issue when he reported it, but once he found out his testimony could have helped Michael's case, he tried to downplay it.

Aside from that, there are a million and one places for famous folks to promote their new projects nowadays, it's not like Jay Leno is the only game in town.

At this point in her career, Janet Jackson should be able to pick & choose who's couch she sits on. In my opinion, it "almost" seems as if, when it comes to Late Night couches, Leno is the only person issuing an invite, aside from George Lopez, who is now off the air.

I don't think him taking the stand put MJ's freedom in danger at all, it was obvious from the beginning he knew nothing, and yes I did compare it to Janet's weight and the superbowl incident, because just like people doing the paedophile jokes, jokes about Janet's weight and the superbowl were hard for her and hurt her too you know.

I can't stand Jay Leno. What he did to MJ is just horrible. As for Janet, I know it's her job. However, I believe there are tons of people and shows that she can go to promote her stuffs. Many members of this family kept amazed me. I can still remember the drug addict talk. Still don't know how can she jump to that conclusion when she admitted herself that she barely saw MJ.
