like I said it's a show for entertainemnt, I don't see Janet living this "wild and out of control" life the way you are making it like she's a Briteny Spears or something lol and Madonna did a tribute because Mtv asked her too, not because Janet requested her. they aren't even friends lol look back in the 90's .
another thing if you are looking at art , you look at it as a whole, you are just like looking at one piece of the show.

I started this thread cuz I really like/love Janet...Not only cuz she's Mike's sister but because she's sooo bold. She gives women the power to be bold. When I first saw this vid, I had my hand over ma face and peaked through the whole thing :lol:

But I got used to it. Y'all have to realize that she's an entertainer...And Its good that two ppl. from the same family are that different cuz it would be boring if Mike and Janet had the same way of performing. Michael is Sensitive and Adorable...and to me to find that in a guy is amazing. Michael was more than AMAZING! He was incredible!!

Janet is Bold and Beautiful, and to see that in a woman is very empowering. and i wouldnt have Janet any other way. Shes great the way she is, IMO.

What she does, I dont think its trashy at all. I think its interesting...but i can imagien how Mrs. jackson was feeling when she went to Janet shows...lol :lol:

Michael on stage with girls, its the most beautiful thing...you know like SOOML girls and YANA girls...Its what makes his shows Great... I know I dont want Michael to be like *Akon* :lol: lol right? I LOVE him the way he is...

And Janet, I dont want her to be like other female artists...Janet Being Janet is Enough...:D

Oh My...Oh My Gosh...Thats all I can say about the video. What I will speak on though, Why are we jumping all over Janet for this aspect of performance, it is just a performance right? Its not like she was planning to take the guy home or something.
 
I don't dislike Janet for this but I most certainly don't see her the same as I did prior to this. lol
I had a different idea of her and the rest (except Latoya).
This video may be old news, but it just goes to show you guys that many of us probably never cared to search for all of Janet's musical and provocative achievements. :D

But I can say that I tend see people or mentally categorize those who do such things apart from those who don't.

And I happen to favor those who don't rub their palm on some stranger fanatic's crotch just to get the crowd going. You know, instead of getting the crowd going with the music instead. But if your music isn't electrifying, then you really need such gimmicks to get something going. I see this type of stuff in my profession a lot. "Sex sells" is how they put it.

Yeah, this isn't the Motley Crue fanpage. :tease: Where I live little kids as young as 4 or 5 listen to much worse than this song.

She was very quiet since Michael passed, no comments to the media, no nothing. I was thinking, she is probably shy or keeps everything to herself. Now I have an idea who is Janet Jackson really is. Yes, Michael was sexy on stage but this kind of being sexy looked more like innocent love, pure passion coming from his dancing but it never looked dirty. You have to be really gifted to do this because there is a very fine line between one and another.
Anyways, a great art never dies but a trash like this never will be remembered.
What a crazy world. Some Ppl see no diffrence between garbage and a good art.

i am still always shocked when fans of michael jackson who grabbed his crotch on stage are so offended by janet's sexual moves. michael knew it would garner attention. his excuse for it wasn't the entire truth, '' i feel the music'' no it was because got attention from the public like elvis' sexual hips move did. sexual movements have been apart of performances before janet.

I think some guys would! When acts get audience members on stage I suspect they are 'plants' or at least were picked out before hand. I don't know.

Some people think MJ is over sexual on stage, the crotch grabbing, certain dance moves and the facial expressions that went with them..(I think there is a gif which is banned here.. gold pants which when doing a certain hip thrusting move show a lot going on downstairs), the slapping of girls' asses..

No, it isn't that. Her voice is still nice, luv. Difference now is that I just put her in the same lot as the "others". But that's just me in this lame and inspiration-less world that we live in.

Oh and yes I have always been aware of Janet's tendency of Singing about this stuff, which isn't terribly wrong in itself. I just never thought that she would do something sooo...mindless in the process.
