Janet at restaurant asked about Conrad Murray

I can't help thinking that maybe it's just very painful for her to be asked this question again and again and again. And if she answers it, it just breeds more questions and potentially more mis-interpretations by tabloids.

She didn't answer because maybe she thinks he is guilty of 1st. or 2nd. degree murder.

I don't think that's the case.. Janet hasn't looked pained since this whole fiasco started. I've only seen her laughing, smiling and grinning the whole time

Oh so she is supposed to walk around sad and crying all the time?!? Who does that?!? Not even average people. You don't know Janet personally and has only seen her in public so you don't know what she does inher own time.

So -- two schools of thought about the Jackson family. One gets upset when they say something, the other gets upset when they don't!

I've been looking again at some interviews she did after Michael died and she strikes me as a person who thinks before she talks. But she made her feelings plain about murray in ABC interview when she said she felt he was responsible and that he should never practice medicine again 'so what? he can do this to some other family..'

As for the smiling, when some people are nervous or stressed they smile. Or when a person may be trying to hide their true feelings. Could be lots of reasons. Some people just don't want to reveal to the whole world how they truly feel inside.

When you're raised with being 'educated' to keep your real feelings inside and show a fake smile as a mask, that's what usually happens. Not to defend her, but that's true.

Yes, so true. And listening to some of what she has said about growing up, well, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't the safest thing to do --keeping your emotions to yourself . A mask. Yes indeed.

Haven't you realized that this family isn't like your normal family that would be out there expressing outrage at the murder of their loved one? Have you heard any of them get angry that Murray still has a license in two states? Nope. But they sure like to talk about their AEG lawsuit and calling out the executors.

Their eyes and minds (and mouths) are focused where the money is. There's no money with Murray, so why bother?

Unfortunately that's the way it seems.. They have yet to be outraged at what Murray did to MJ. They should be on the front steps of the medical board calling for all of his licenses to be snatched, yet they're doing absolutely nothing.

If it was Janet that had died and Michael was asked about this kind of thing, do you think he would stop and talk to a tabloid? No!

He probably would've responded by saying I love my sister and I will fight for her to bring justice. This is something Janet has refused to say. His family obviously doesn't care about MJ or seeking justice. Janet has focused on working and writing a book than seeking justice for her murdered brother. It's very very sad. Michael has no one but the fans fighting for him.

Leave her alone.

She doesn't want to speak anymore before the trial and she's right. If she speaks the killer Murray could call her to testify for him with what she said last year...

-______-

Maybe not. But I am sure he would ask for justice out loud.

Exactly.. I couldn't imagine MJ would be doing the things his family are doing to him. I imagine MJ would be very heartbroken and I would think he would be doing everything in his power to help his murdered family member. His family has done absolutely nothing for him.

well he still might.. the damage is done with her. Her past comments are already out there That is why Murray is saying he's not at fault due to what Janet, Rebbie and the media was spreading. I will not be surprised if Janet is called as a witness for Murray.

^You are right chanel05. I'm not even a real Janet fan but I am absolutely appalled by the hate she is unjustfully receiving here. This thread was obviously only created to start just the same predictable Jackson family hate posts. It's incredibly boring to read and I still don't understand how this same old clique who obviously don't feel or think anything positive about the Jacksons are practically living in 2300 Jackson Street. Put your energy into something good and positive, for your own sake's and for the rest of us who don't like to read your hateful opinions over and over again.

Great post, I fully agree. Not that it will help anything though, we'll just be lumped together as "JFam worshippers" just because we don't want to hear the same old hateful stuff over and over again. I couldn't care less about that family seriously, I don't read their interviews, don't watch their videos, if it weren't for this forum I wouldn't even know what they looked like nowadays. But even I got called a "JFam worshipper" because I didn't agree with all the hate some of them were receiving. It's ridiculous.

No offense, but how many times are you going to post this? All your posts basically boil down to the same thing: "MJ was a sad lonely man and only his fans cared for him". We get it now

well it's the truth

And how the hell would you know? You're just an outsider, you have no idea what kind of friends or even family members Michael loved and trusted. Not everyone seeks the spotlight.

Michael would not be dead if he had friends and family that actually loved and cared about him. What type of friend would recommend and use dangerous and life threatening sleep remedies on a friend/patient?

What type of family members claim they know their brother/son had a problem but did absolutely nothing to help him? They all saw MJ a month before in May did they not notice he wasn't looking well and that he was thin as a rail? Did they call and visit him? Did they ask how are you are you doing ok? NO!!!!

Mike had absolutely no one that gave a damn about him. Karen Faye and all the folks of TII just stood by and watched Murray slowly kill MJ. They saw the change in him from March to June and did absolutely nothing about it.

I have to agree with you here..they DIDN"T do anything to help Michael...hell some of them hadn't even seen him recetly at the time. And them and their little interventions....they never happened.

Now, I have my opinions about Janet. But even I can see how stupid this is. There is no reason for the media to be following her around like that. She obviously went to the restaraunt to relax, have dinner, get in her car and leave, not to be confronted with the same old tired questions about whether she thinks Murray killed her brother. This is ridiculous. They need to leave her alone. Seriously.

.
More over what kind of 'family' would harass the life out of an already 'troubled' man? By bothering him to hell with 'reunion shows/concert tours/albums'' etc. Why did they put further pressure on him albit knowing all the things they claim to have known.

Correction: Michael would not be dead if he had a competent doctor.

Do you know of any friends who told MJ to use Propofol? I don't think so. If you're talking about Murray, I don't think anyone ever considered him MJ's friend.

See, this is what I find so hypocritical. First, you and many others can't stress enough that Michael wanted nothing to do with his family and kept his distance from them. But then you turn around and blame the family for not "helping" him when he needed them? Do you honestly think his family had that kind of power over him that they could get him to seek help (which you apparently think he needed) when Michael would barely speak to them and purposely distanced himself from them? And another thing, Michael was not "thin as a rail" when he met them. According to the autopsy report he was in the normal weight range. Yes he was slim, as he had been all his life. But the autopsy report clearly shows that his health was in good condition when he died, apart from some minor issues that can be attributed to aging and Lupus. If Murray had done his job, Michael would have still been here. If you saw TII, Michael appeared happy and excited. I did not see a sad, frail man and I refuse to believe Michael died sick and alone. I really don't understand why you would insist on this.

Mike had absolutely no one that gave a damn about him.

Again, you can't possibly know this. You're just a fan, looking from the outside in. There are a lot of things about Michael's private life that we don't know about, and it should stay that way. But to say that "no one gave a damn about Michael" is utterly ridiculous. Elizabeth Taylor doesn't care about Michael? His mother doesn't care? His children don't care? Please

Karen Faye? What, so an employee was supposed to drag MJ to some rehab clinic? Michael was a grown man for God's sake. He suffered from severe insomnia and apparently saw propofol as the last resort. I highly doubt he told everyone around him "Hey guys, guess what, I'm taking propofol tonight!" let alone his employees. You are delusional.

Don't forget we are not to call each other names.

It's not meant to be insulting. I'm just saying her ideas are delusional, they're not based on reality. It's just in her head. Somehow she insists on believing Michael was sad, lonely and frail when he died even though there are many people who were around him during the last few months who say he was feeling happy and excited, and his autopsy report proves that he was in overall good health. Michael did not die from loneliness and he did not die from health complications either. He died because his doctor did not do his job properly and that's a fact.

Well, sure he can call Janet but what exactly will that change? He still was Michael's doctor for X amount of time, he still gave him an anesthetic agent in a bedroom sans any life saving equipment, he still was on the phone when he should have been monitoring his sedated patient, etc. The autopsy shows what was in Michael's system when he died, etc.
So.

Even if Michael should be shown to have had a past problem with some sort of drug dependence, and mind you we haven't seen any actual proof, just innuendos and statements about interventions and conflicting letters saying there were no interventions, I don't see how that would change anything. It's not as if Michael died from an overdose of a drug obtained on a seedy street corner in the dead of night.

He died because his doctor wasn't where he was paid to be...at Michael's bedside.

I'm spoo glad more people are seeing their bs and calling them out on it. First their mad at Janet because she threw him under the bus for saying she thought he had an addiction and they attempted interventions. Then they turn around and say no one tried to help him. Doesnt that sound hypocritical. Seriously?!?! You can't have things the way you want them to be

True, but that said, I don't believe the family's intervention stories nor do I believe Michael was addicted to anything when he died. I think the intervention stories are used to show that the family was "close", when in reality I really don't think Michael had much contact with the rest of his family (except his mother) apart from the occasional visits. It's all about keeping up the public image of a wholesome family, as Michael has said before. And even IF the family believes Michael was addicted to drugs, they shouldn't speak about it in the media. Keep it private or at least wait until the trial is over. I wish they would focus more on Murray's crimes and the fact that their brother/son was murdered.

Still, I think the incredible hate the family receives on this board for anything they do is uncalled for, and to blame Michael's family and friends for his death is just ridiculous.
