Jacksons: The Next Generation [REALITY SHOW DISCUSSION ONLY]

I'm glad Paris chose not being part of the reality though. It seems she doesn't enjoy the spotlight as much as some of the unemployed adults. If they really think they're famous just for being Jacksons, they couldn't be more delusional, their entitlement is unbelievable.

When they were talking about the price of fame, I couldn't help but cringing! PPB haven't done anything on their own right to become famous but they're the ones paying such price for who their father is, not the rest of the cousins.

I am with you on that.

Thank you for the link. I was taping the show, but I got about halfway through when my VCR ran out of tape-yes, still use a VCR. So, I tried it here-and I think my computer might be too old too-it just keeps spooling-however, all the commercials come up fine! boo hoo. Have to wait til next week to see the repeat.
 I still have the making of Thriller (video) on VHS, lol! I won't attempt to play it, because it might be too old and/or corroded. The estate needs to release it on DVD/blu ray!

Dont get me started on the dozens of vhs tapes I have stored away. Spent loads back in the day on jetzis footage!

^really? They were selling VHS tapes??
I think I'm about to watch my copy of the Making of Thriller. Watched a bunch of Thrill the World vids today and I'm ready for the real thing. Lol.

That being Jackson thingy is self-inflected delusion that they living in - sorry 3T lads
..------------------------

Totally agree. They arent famous.the press/paps aren't interested unless the mj3 are with them. If they walked down the street 99 percent of people wouldn't know who they are. Same if the went for a job interview. Unfortunatly it just seems part of the jackson mentality that they use in order to downplay their own lack of interest and ability to act like normal people. i.e. to get a job and is imo how the entire family has all been raised.
.blame everything on being a jackson and being famous even though you aren't famous! .even now at near middle age the 3T's are still trying to follow that through and Tito is like Joe .they really need to move on but I guess while they all appear to be living the life through mj's money there is no reason or motivation to act like the average joe

I just saw photo of Prince being papped and TJ was with him, although TJ was mostly cut out of the photo. You could see only 1/4 of him, but Prince was fully visible.
So there.

I wouldn't count on it until the last show is aired.
TJ mentioned this in their NYDailyNews interview:
TJ said some episodes of the new series were still being edited and hedged when asked if Paris would appear on camera.

Yeah I saw that pic right after I posted! Says it all doesnt it

I see that 3T have launched a children's charity, the 'Dee dee Jackson foundation'. Was that mentioned in episode 4...I haven't seen it yet......

Edit: Finally found Episode 4 on YT. The song seems quite good. I hope they have success with their charity.....nice that there is a lot of interaction promised ie people sending in ideas and suggestions for causes to benefit.

Ivy, anyone presenting themselves as a fan to Tito's generation was taken at face value.

You mean Tanay presented herself as a fan to take the pictures? Some pictures seems recent to me (post 2009) but I wouldn't put such things (approaching as a fan and then starting the fraud) past these type of people. So it could be very well the case.

Well Tanay doesn't seem to be going away, although quiet I noticed she replied to someone with the question 'did you see the document'? - Can't work out whether to be angry or feel sad for her.

I just assumed that to be the case. That Gepetto guy did it (photos at meet and greets with the Jackson bros)and scammed a lot of (stupid) women claiming he was Jermaine's kid.

Actually he scammed a lot of women out of money and Tanay scammed news outlets.

I see it as Tito kiss a fan on the cheek but for Tanay to come out and say that Tito is her farther without proof. I feel sorry in way for her because TJ will let the world know if the test come back negative that she is not their sister why would she want to put herself through that. I did not get it why she was hiding form Jermaine. Tanay has been use the Jackson names all this the TB has her as Michael Jackson niece. I guess we have to see what happen Fri.

^^
AliCat, the YT link is not allowed.

They just used her to create drama for the show, 3T have spent some years not acknowledging her as a Jackson.

Unfortunately, the media and the public - which includes some MJ fans - still believe she has some connection to Tito. No surprise there. No matter what the truth is some prefer fabrications.

I watched. I wish there had been more footage of their performance in Holland! I thought they were excellent, and at this point what I don't understand is their often-talked-about lack of confidence. They are great performers, and are clearly loved by their fans. They continue to say they feel hesitant about their music careers, and I wish they'd just GET ON IT! Anyone else see the show?

Thank you for posting that, Tygger.

I really enjoyed their performance; they all three have nice voices and they harmonize together so beautifully. It was a nice little set. It seems they might have wanted to do what their Uncle Michael had said he wished to do..."Do the songs the fans want to hear."

That song, "Stuck on You"...I'm so glad they did that one. I like it! However...I listened to them doing it in a video just a few days ago and well, that song "Stuck on You" manages to "Stick with You" and I can't stop singing it in my head now. lol.

Awww...Taryll has included an armband on what he is wearing. Sweet reference. And what a nice photo they have there at the end of the three of them posing with their mom and Michael.

I hope they had a fun time performing that night. :)

People were curious how Tanay sage will end and tuned in:)
JACKSONS: THE NEXT GENERATION gained 0.08

Last friday's ratings:
JACKSONS: THE NEXT GENERATION fell 0.05 to 0.15
http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articl...able-originals-network-update-10-30-2015.html

Do they have 1 or 2 episodes to go?

I cannot see 2nd season for their reality show. For someone who is not a fan, it is kind of flat, and if I may say, they use too much of uncle Michael and "We Jackson's" angle when they talk. It makes them look like they are bragging about being MJ relative, and to be honest, no outsider (other than fan) will take that sort of carrying on.

^^^ I can't see a second season for it, either. Unfortunately, it's turned out to be a real snoozer. The performance was quite good. I'm wondering what kind of venue that was, though, because their set was only about 30 minutes (not a two-hour show as one might expect for headliners). I did enjoy it, but on a second watching I thought that they didn't do much of anything with choreography and could have/should have, especially when performing Jacksons songs, which were high-octane choreography originally. Their vocals/harmony are quite good, but they seem to lack enthusiasm? What I really wanted to see was new material. THEIR new material. My hunch is that these three guys are still stunned by enormous losses, of their mother, and then of Michael. I think they have the talent and skill that they need, and should just dig deep and GET ON WITH IT.
