I'm indifferent.

It's great, but it sounds like he was trying to recreate Dangerous at times.

I always thought it was a mix between Bad and Dangerous !

This is an accomplishment in my book...

A very, very underrated album
I hope more people come to discover this album.

I hate it how the media like to call this album a flop. Considering it has sold over 10m copies. Most artists would snap your hands off for those kinds of sales for 1 album.

I wholeheartedly agree.
Invincible is an amazing album. Michael has tried some new sounds and there are loads of killer-tracks on it. Awesome!

This album is bananas

I remember the day it came out me and my family played it for days and days

"Butterflies" won me over so fast, I wanted him to put out a music video for that one :(

But anyways, anyone who says this was a bad album is only going by US sales and the promotion

This song had some of the most well written songs in the history of music..come on do you listen to "Heaven Can Wait"?????

It's a fantastic album, no doubt. Invincible was clearly not credited as it should of been. It really shows the power of Michael's voice and Michael's songwriting and how it can affect the world. I cannot understand how someone couldn't love this album, it's truly amazing.

Every time I pop in my Invincible CD it seems that it's only getting better and better. However, all of Michael's albums play the same effect on me.

:clapping:

It is one of my favourite mj albums!!!! 2000 watts, You rock my world, Unbreakable, Threatened, Whatever happens, Speechless, Break of dawn are such beautiful songs!

Under-rated? Yes
A fan favourite? Yes
Poorly promoted? Yes

But, a great album? It's mostly not for me, except a few tracks (Unbreakable, Heartbreaker, 2000 Watts, Threatened and Whatever Happens). It's far too long and has so many ballads - most pretty weak, IMHO. As a review when it was released stated, it is over twice as long as Thriller and has less than half the effect.

I do listen to some tracks time-to-time, but it's not a classic.

I know I'll get attacked by people saying it is an amazing album full of heartfelt ballads etc., but there we go...

I'd agree with you mostly although I think some of the ballads are amazing, like Speechless and The Lost Children. Others like Don't Walk Away and You Are My Life could probably have been left out. I'm a fan of all the fast tracks anyway.

Yes, some of the songs aren't as strong as songs on Michael previous albums but Michael's vocals are the best on Vince. He sounds absolutely amazing.

I think every single ballad on this album is amazing

I was so glad this album was voted the best of the 2000's:wub::wub::wub:

I think that it's pretty solid..but not his best..I felt that the beginning of the album was great, but it started to loose steam towards the end..and there were some filler tracks on there..The standout tracks imo are Break of Dawn, Butterflies, Heaven Can Wait, Unbreakable, Heartbreaker, You Rock My World, Whatever Happens, and Threatened..

I voted yes but the album is a notch or two below his previous albums in terms of quality.,

Invincible is the album I mostly choose when wanting to unwind...............make sense?
Whatever happens................lost children...........relaxing...........my only small prob is that on my album the songs are listed in reverse order to how they are played!!
Anyone got this prob?

Gotta' admit I don't like Unbreakable and 2000watts but I still think Invincible is a great album, Cry's my favourite song on it. I just think that there might have been a couple of better tracks available instead of what was picked. But, it's still a great album, I can't doubt that.

It's a fantastic album, but it could've been even better if Michael didn't pass up on the Justin beats - IMO.

Stand-out tracks: Heaven Can Wait, Unbreakable, You Rock My World, Break of Dawn, Whatever Happens.

One thing that is annoying for me is that they didn't use real guitars on "Don't Walk Away" and "Speechless".

Yeah I agree. Some good points here actually.I also felt there was too many tracks on it.16 tracks is a bit drawn out.Theres at least 4 that could have been left off it.

I love Invincible, though I must admit I love the first half of the album than the second half. My favorite songs on the second half are You Are My Life, Whatever Happens, and Threatened. The first half of the album is my favorite because those love songs remind me of the soulful Michael, which I love so much. Now, with all this Invincible talk, I just might play the album! hehe! It is the best album of the 00's when you compare it to so many albums that were released that decade.

I feel that Invincible is a GREAT r&b album. One of the best I've listened to. The last time Michael worked on a solo album that strayed away from his usual genre sprawling was Off The Wall, which was heavy disco, but yet not quite.

I'm probably repeating myself here, but it'd be better with less fillers.

Heaven Can Wait
2000 Watts
You Are My Life
Privacy

Take those out and it'd be better, IMO.

It's my least favourite album from MJ, having said that I do still think it's great.

The comments are very interesting in that some of the songs people want out of the album, I want them in. Thank god Michael left them in. I love invincible, and ASANDRA and SHADOWMASTER your comments are on the ball--my feelings exactly. I love that Invincible has many tracks especially now that Michael is no longer with us. He gave us many songs there to tide us over during the coming months. We are all waiting for new songs, and we do not know when they will be out!!! Be grateful that Invincible has 16 tracks. I love the fact that he did something different in Invincible. I never want to box him in into what I think is a "Michael Sound." Come together INVINCIBLE LOVERS.

While I do agree with Privacy and You Are My Life ( I actually deleted that one), I can't agree with Heaven Can Wait and 2000 Watts. I really liked those songs even if 2000 Watts seem a little silly I never heard Michael do something like that before so it was nice to hear.

:bugeyed 2000 Watts? :bugeyed :bugeyed PRIVACY? This is the best album ever, and privacy is my favorite song!!!!

When it was first released, although I liked it,I felt it lacked a certain spark. Also about 15 different people involved in the production ruined any possiblity of any kind of fluency to make it flow as an album.Sounds like a mish mash.
I actually like the album alot more now than i did upon it's original release.& I still believe theres too many tracks on it.But it's the album I'm listening to most at the moment.

That is very true!! It's nothing like Bad, which really sound like an album with the order of the songs.

But that is also the charm of Invincible, so many different styles in 1 album. With Invincible I always put it on shuffle. In my opinion it's the best way to listen to it.
