I'm at bk106, is it too far or good seats?

During 'The Apprentice' the candidates were taken to the O2 arena and they showed the empty O2 arena in several clips behind Alan Sugar, because they were stood inside being told what their next challenge was. I think they may have been standing somewhere towards one end of the arena in the 400s, but I'm not sure. Anyway, it may help answer your question. I've got seats in block 109 on 18th July, which is in the back corner of the arena and I think that although the people on stage will be small, it won't be too bad. Certainly much better than being at the back of a stadium!

I found out that the O2 has an internal diameter of 320 metres, but it didn't specify if the distance was measure wall-to-wall length or width (presume length).

The candidates and Sir Alan were standing at the very top of Blocks 112/113 meaning you could see all the blocks oin the opposite side of the arena very clearly as well as the back of the arena. The floor blocks weren't there as it was set up for ice hockey.

To be fair, the back blocks actually don't look that far back. Lucky for me, I'm in Block 105! :D

Please respond fast , im going to buy tickets from viagogo... is BLOCK 112 good? what row is the best A , B or D ?

I think sometimes when a picture is taken of a stadium/arena it looks more further away than it actally is. I rember when I went to wembley stadium last year I was looking at photos from my block and its seemed miles away, but when I actally got there it was a pretty good view!

some more pics and videos of different views of the o2 >>>> http://community.michaeljackson.com/uk/content/o2-arena-inside-view-picsvids

................:dropdead:uh, ok then. Anybody got any advice for fans slighty scared of hights?lol:D

A couple of questions to anyone who might know:

1) Are the seats (meaning the actual chairs) any different between tier 1 and balcony? Like are the seats in the balcony smaller/narrower across, or all they all the same? I saw a close-up of the ones in the balcony and with those stupid cup-holder armrests they look about as comfortable as an airline seat on a tiny commuter plane. Is it too late for pre-concert super-mega-liposuction, lol?

2) Do the chairs on the floor (BK-A, B, C) even have armrests? Looks like they don't, like they're just fold-down chairs with nothing between the seats.

Found some information about SEAT NUMBERS for floor sections/blocks! O2 Customer Service over on michaeljackson.com has given us an idea about where the seats on the floor on. From my understanding of the quote below, it should be approximately like this. Seats are seemingly numbered from left to right (so from A1 to A2 to A3).

A1/B1/C1 - Approximately seats 1 - 17
A2/B2 - Approximately seats 18 - 37
A3/B3/C3 - Approximately seats 38 - 55

They state that this is usually about how it goes, but that this might not be exact, so keep that in mind. I just wish the ticks on Viagogo had seat numbers! Here's the quote, regarding someone's question about seats 21 - 24 in BK A2...

http://community.michaeljackson.com/se/content/o2-arena-customer-services -
A2 Row U Seats 21-24 ..... It usually starts at A and goes to Z, missing out i and O. The seat numbers vary according to the show layout, so this is never exact but the numbers should start about 18 and go to 37 in the central block, so your seats will be slightly to the left of the centre block (as you face the stage). I don't have access to the exact seating layout right now, and it does tend to change but I hope that gives you an idea.

Are there any links to watch this? I am in block 112, row x & I want to see if I will have a decent view.

people dont forget that these are only camera shots, its not the same as when your going to see it. you'll be closer than you think. plus the stage is suppsed to be really big so...

My only concern now is if it is a really big stage, where i am in block 112, am i going to end up looking at the back of MJ or have a restricted view...

I've made playlists on YouTube of the best videos I've found so far that show you the view from different seats in the O2 for end-state setup concerts (like MJ's will be). I'll be adding to them when I have time or when I find something I think is worthwhile to add.

Floor seats: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=CA7F0EF36C76AD09
Lower tier: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=E860A3696CC94351
Upper tier: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=BDD4F3B713E3972E

Please note that these aren't my uploads, so I don't control the titles or descriptions or where the seat locations are mentioned. All I can suggest is to read the title, the full description of the video and their comments. The vast majority of the vids I choose will state at least the section number (BK whatever) somewhere. Most people do not mention their rows or exact seats, though.

Consider that BK101 is going to be just like BK112, just on the other side of the stage. BK105 is just like BK108, BK406 is just like BK417 and so on. You're probably never going to find your exact section, row and seat. You just have to use your imagination and use all the pics and vids online to give you an idea of approximately what your view will be. Anyway, hope this helps some people :)
