have your tickets been canceled

What the best number to call then Ive tried the 08444 999 999 one loads and the 0870 242 4442 one also, just keeps saying 'due to high volume of calls' rubbish.

I'm looking forward to giving ticketbast@rd a piece of my mind.
 
just keep trying, there are probably loads of people trying to call to change card details. BTW i havent heard of any1 say that tm wudn't let them do this when they have called. And i wouldn't bother arguing with them as i don't think it will get you anywhere.

i just called 08444 999 999 (0044 8444 999 999 outside The UK) took awhile to get though, I had no problem changing one booking to another card at a different billing address. They checked all my reference numbers and I could choose which booking to transfer.

GET CALLING PEOPLE, YOU CAN DO IT AND YOUR TICKETS WILL BE SAFE

I hear what you're sayin, but Ive used ticketmaster lots in the past, and this sort of caper has happened too often for my liking.

Then send a complaint to trading standards or S.T.A.R, having a go at the robots will not stop the machine lol
 
sorry by tranferring your booking what do you mean for different tickets or seat or dates?

I transfered the booking, meaning the tickets I originally booked on my card at my billing addres are now on a family memebers card being sent to their billing address. I didnt loose my tickets which I was worried would be cancelled as I inadvently purchased more than the allocated limit on my card.

I have finally managed to reach Ticketmaster...and I got through someone called Simon...he was so nice....very calm, relaxed and sounded professional...really good experience with them...once you get through you can talk to a helpful person who understands what you are going through...Bless him

my phone bill is over the roof now with 30mins of roaming from Sydney...but hey yeah...this is it - never again...
 
I think I spoke to Simon too, same experience, very nice and calm and very helpful, have also spoken to Peter, and the same, very helpful and professional. Thes guys must be dealing with the same requests over and over, and have no problem helping us confuzzled MJ fans!!
 
I just feel sorry for the people who won't be checking forums and might not even be aware that they have broke the t&cs. They will think they have tickets, and then they will have just gone! :S

p.s my situation is 4 adults in my house and they brought 6 tickets between them. on there own presale code on wed. to the same adress.and they all went throu

call back and talk to someone else. explain you situation to them, they will probably tell you that some will be canceled, then say, well ??? has agreed to pay for one order of tickets, can i transfer the tickets to their card? if they say no, then ask them why so many other have been allowed to and maybe ask to speak to the supervisor if you get no joy!

do they refund the money back to your card straight away. when you change the details
 
Surely the people who wont know of this shambles, will get an email from TM giving them the option to transfer to another card/address, they owe people that much anyway.

I doubt it very much, all i can say is that every1 tells all their friends and lets all boards know so word gets round as much as possible.

Don't worry bout what the terms ACTUALLY terms, they have messed up and i think this is why they are allowing details to be changed. Any tickets you have in excess to 4 tickets at your household, call up and change it to a card at another address.
 
Phoned up. Lady said it HAD been 4 per card and that it then changed to 4 per household. She said it's not a problem as at the moment they're letting people change them over to another address (the 'at the moment' bit worried me).
She also said if they had to cancel any that are over, it would DEFINITELY be the last tickets you bought that would be cancelled, not the first 4 (they are safe).

problem is i dont really have any other cards cuz quite a few of my family have brought sum
 
Just to clarify, is everybody using option 4 on the automated system when you call 08444 999 999 number?
