I think half of humanity did the same thing!!!!

I was on the phone with 3 friends of mine within a 5-6 minute span after the tribute & we all shut the TV OFF!!!

Prince and Paris did a WONDERFUL job. It was Nice of Prince to speak directly to us. he recognized us like his father would. Paris was absolutely gorgeous! they all have Michael's fashion sense lol.

Oh gosh, I missed the tribute!! I left my room to go greet my family members who came but I came up as SOON as it ended and MISSED it. I hope it's on youtube. However, I made it for Prince's speech. My eyes started welling up when I saw Prince and Paris grace the stage and I began to cry. :cry: Couldn't believe it, I was bawling. Such brave, strong children. Prince's speech was lovely and it was nice to see Paris speak again. L.O.V.E. to them. :heart: Michael would be so proud of them. They did a great job.

Can't get over how amazing those kids are. Michael did an exceptional job raising them and in extremely unusual circumstances and yet they are the most well brought up, grounded, articulate, well spoken children I have ever seen. Not just saying this cos I am a fan. It's undeniable.

It actually wasn't surreal to me at all - I expected them to.

MJ taught them that the love we have for him & them is REAL.

They know that.

I think Paris was saying "Daddy was going to perform this here [last year]" Meaning "Earth Song"...for the O2 shows..hmm..Poor girl musta been so nervous. The did a beautiful job tho! Michael would be SO proud!

The 3D just didn't work for me. But going by past experience with watching 3D on TV, I didn't expect it to. Maybe in the context of what Michael was working on it would have been much better. Strange that when I watch 3D videos on youtube it works great but on TV it doesn't.

Beautiful tribute though...

One of the most beautiful and heartbreaking speeches, i've ever seen.
Prince's voice wow, it's just like Michael..
I'm so proud of Prince and Paris, for taking the award on behalf of their dear daddy.
Very beautiful words, Prince used in his speech, a very interlligent boy.
And he even mentioned us the fans, and he rememered what his daddy is all about, LOVE. L.O.V.E...

My tears have run like a waterfall, since the tribute till now.
I miss Michael so so much.

Michaels kids, has really grown, so beautiful they are and also well dressed, using michael favorite colors, and the arm band so beautiful..

Well, hearty congratulations are in order for the kids; speaking in front of a massive live audience and millions of viewers who were hanging on their every word. Imagine that. Wow; very impressive. Took guts.

They should be very proud of themselves; they handled it beautifully. Bravo.

The kids are SOOO HUMBLE , JUST LIKE MICHAEL... :cry: i miss him so much...

When you see the entire tribute and when you hear at the beggining Michael's sweet voice and what he says, about the tress and how much he loves(loved :cry: ) the planet, tears wont stop, just as much as when i see This Is It.

God i love him... i love him, and im glad his kids are so humble as well and that they stated they will continue with his message of love and helping the world.

Michael is not gone, he is alive, he lives trough us all.

Of course they know about, understand, respect, appreciate our relationship with their dad, they were there to witness it, day in and day out.
I didn't say that it was unexpected.
Just surreal.
I mean, seven months ago, who would have ever thought...

The media is being very nice, I've heard nothing but positive stories about The Grammy tribute. I also hear 99% positive reviews for This Is It. The media is so different now with MJ...the stories are all positive and they say things they never would have dreamed of saying before. It's so refreshing to hear.
