Hahah! :D

How damn long is it going to take that McLaren announces their next year's drivers?

^^^Mr. Whitmarsh says they're not going to tell it before Abu Dhabi. :(

http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?id=47248

So, I think we have to wait. I think that if there won't be any announcement before Abu Dhabi... I would be very sad and nervous still I would think that then it would come later. I don't think Kimi would do his "last race" in F1 without saying it.

I was thinking about that Kimi won his first race with Ferrari, right? How sweet it would be if he could win his last one with Ferrari. I remember I was sitting on my bed, watching him on the top step of the podium while listening to the Finnish and then the Italian anthems and tears came down on my face. I was so happy for him, I think I would be happier this time!

Oi maamme...

Oh yeah, win in Abu Dhabi would be awesome! But thinking that Ferrari. It's very slow compared to others but the track is new so we'll see about that.

So, that's next week?

Yeah, next week! Can't wait! :)

Ferrari is crap but with a little miracle he can do it. Kimi could have won in Interlagos had not been for Webber... that moron.:puke:

I don't know what would I do during the off season. I already miss F1 LOL I think I'm going to download old races. :cheeky:

I know for Hanna there's ice-hockey, I like a lot of winter sports so I'm going to watch ski, ski jump, biathlon, figure skating, etc.

What about you, Evilman?

^ Next week, yes  My birthday is on Saturday, what would be better gift than Kimi winning the last race! That would be great.

Citroen is keeping a car for Kimi in rally in case he doesn't continue on F1  Though Steve Robertson said their discussions never happened.

I hope Kimi seeks for a rally team just for fun, for his free time.

German media say that Kimi (or his managers) want more money from McLaren. But I try to believe that there isn't any problem at all. Managers are greedy but I can't imagine Kimi being like that. I think he would drive even for free if he could get a championship winning car. What do you think?

I hope his managers are not that stupid to let Kimi without a drive just because of money. The Robertsons are smart enough!

Yeah I can't imagine Kimi asking for all the millions of dollars, he just wants to drive.
I hope he gets now the place in McLaren and drives in rally for fun and everything will be fine! :D

Winter sports... mmm, some. Ski jump I used to watch before but haven't watched it very active lately. But I like ice hockey. I always watch for results of games in SM-league and I can't wait for winter olympics. Hahah. Oh well. Let see if I get some girl to watch ice hockey with me like last time almost four years ago. Hah. :D

Todt won. No wonder. Pretty cruel behaviour by Mosley when he stopped Vatanen's speech when he had spoken 15 minutes, Todt talked over 15 minutes. And yeah, 15 minutes was the limit.

Someone out there isn't telling the truth. McLaren says that they are not going to take Räikkönen probably and so does Red Bull. And some rumors about Button going to McLaren is out there. Räikkönen to Brawn, anyone?

That was very rude of him

Yeah I think it was kind of obvious that Todt would win. But I think he's a good choice, after all.

I think I wouldn't mind that too. But I think the deal is already done between Kimi and McLaren, they are just playing with our nerves. Where did you read that McLaren are not going to take Kimi?

Yeah, the latest rumours were about Button to McLaren but Haug already denied it:

Mercedes motorsport director Norbert Haug has poured cold water over suggestions that McLaren could make a move for newly-crowned World Champion Jenson Button.

British papers reported on Friday that McLaren, backed by sponsor Vodafone, were keen on signing Button so that he could team up with fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton.

However, Haug has dismissed the speculation as nothing but a pipe dream.

"There are no current negotiations with Jenson Button but I do have understanding for the fact that people in England are dreaming of an English team with two World Champions in the cockpits," Haug told German Press Agency dpa.

"However, dreams don't always come true."

Todt won, no wonder. I don't really know had Vatanen been better for this. I just want someone who will be better than Mosley. :D

Did you hear, Barrichello will go to Williams! I wonder who takes his place at Brawn..

Hey! I've been weekend off and there's only three new posts. :(

Oh well. There's nothing new out there expect that Barrichello goes to Williams. Hope next season will be his last, he has been in business for so long time already. It's time to quit.

And yeah. Todt is already better than Mosley. :D

Oh well, I know. There'll be nothing new expect next year's drivers until next season's start. :(

I've heard that Nico Rosberg. :)

Yeah! I'm surprised you haven't heard about it. There have been rumours about this but also they talk about Nico Hülkenberg to Brawn. (Hopefully we will know the details about every pilot next week!)

Do you know how Nico looks like?

Räikkönen: McLaren is my only option
29.10.2009 13:56

Kimi Räikkönen told MTV3 that McLaren is his only option.

- I haven't even discussed with Toyota, Räikkönen assured.

- If you want to drive a winning car then McLaren is the only option. My situation should be clear within a few days, Räikkönen hinted

(TS)

:angel::timer:

McLaren, McLaren, McLaren...

Oh well, we can hope. Hope this will NOT be Kimi's last race! :(

I was going to post that, too, Kinga :cheeky:

I highly doubt that this would be Kimi's last race. I think the place at McLaren is already pretty certain? We just haven't heard about it yet.. Heikki is also about to tell his plans for future later this evening!

Wow I love the Abu Dhabi cirquit! The whole area is beautiful

I hope good race to Vettel tomorrow and a nice season ending to Kimi, too.

Lewis Hamilton compared himself to Michael Jackson

Lewis Hamilton thinks he and late King of Pop Michael Jackson has much things in common.

- We have a lot in common. My father always asks a lot from me and so did Michael's father and wanted the best from him.

24-year-old Hamilton respects Jackson's achievements.

- I believe he will be the biggest of all times. I don't think anyone can top him.

It's from The Mirror so I know it could be tabloid but  Thanks for the MJ respect though.

Evilman did you watch from TV what Kimi could do with 50M$ ? :D

What?

Thanks for the Hamster article. :)

 because Kimi didn't get any points and had to end his Ferrari career like this
 because this was the last race of this season
 because Kimi leaves Ferrari - afterall this was the team with which he became WDC and because there are many people who like him there and he likes them too
 because we don't know yet what would happen to him

I hope he continues in F1 (in Macca) but I need an official announcement

:D for Vettel
:D good battle between Puttonen and Webber
:D Kobayashi
:D the surrounding is beautiful
 the race was soooo boring

It's over now  Can't wait for next season.

There was this thing in TV what Kimi could buy in Finland with all that money he gets from Ferrari (45M$) and if he would get 10M$ salary from the new team.
He could buy one ice hockey team and buy there very good players from NHL and after he would've bought the players he would still have money to run Finland's football league for one season and still his budget would be bigger than Finland's skiing league's and some other league's budget TOGETHER.

I was so happy that Vettel won! He's so sweet :D And also that Webber managed to keep Button behind him.
Kobayashi is very good! He might be something in the future.

And I agree, the race was very boring..

Kimi has finally said that it was the Santander money that caused his departure from Ferrari.

Fuck that Ferrari. Now they are going to sue BatRacer for using Ferrari cars in that game! Damn.

And I only watched Friday's sessions. Had kind of... mmm, problems during weekend. Oh man I feel depressed now.

But about the track. I'd say it looks nice but IT IS BORING. :(

Fuck that Ferrari.
heyhey, stay nice, will ya! :fencing :p

does anybody know why Fisichella got a drive through yesterday??

it's indeed sad that kimi has to leave Ferrari :( i'd have liked it more if they replaced massa instead of raikkonen... but i guess that's life :ermm:
i heard that both kimi and heiki want a special clause in their next contract which permits them to participate in a few ralleys...

i'm really curious about the next season: refuelling banned, alot of drivers switching teams, other new rules.. etc :)
and after 2010, bridgestone leaves the f1

^ Yeah, there's been many changes in F1 lately, it's in some kind of crossroads at the moment. I just hope it doesn't change too much

Williams announced their drivers for next season, Barrichello and Hülkenberg. Oh I can't wait to hear the announcements from other teams!!!

:bugeyed:tease: OMG!!!!

Yeah, I've heard about Williams' announcement, that wasn't a surprise. I can't wait for the other ones!!!!

Bridgestone out of F1 - wow, that's surprising!

Well, I think everybody knew that the main reason was the money, that's why they got rid of Kimi. :( I think now when Kimi is not a Ferrari employee anymore, he said it clearly. Not that he would ever say bad things about them.

I've heard an interview with Chris Dyer yesterday and he said such nice things:

Q: “About Alonso, what can you tell me? What do you expect from him in these moments of building of the car?”
answer from Chris: “Honestly, today I don’t want to think too much about the future. I want to remember three great years with Kimi, with a worldchampionship title in 2007 above all. This is the most important thing today. Tomorrow, we will think about 2010."

aww bless him! :)

And I've heard another one from Domenicali... haha that man is a joke!!!! He said that was a great and hard choice to stop the development of the car in August, a choice that needed 'balls' and no space for the emotions (he felt proud of himself). He also said that other teams [McLaren] that have chosen to continue the development until the end, were able to to pass them in the standing by only one point, so they will see next year which team has made the right choice.

 For God's sake, shut your mouth up! Hadn't there been Kimi's talent, his motivation, his determination.... Ferrari wouldn't have had 50 points altogether! Everbody can see it that neither Badoer nor Fisichella couldn't deliver any single point!!! So, it's not because they stopped the development and still they could get good results with that car! LOL At least once, just once, admit it that Kimi is an extraordinary driver and you can thank him for those 48 points!
