Watch the first one with open eyes from (before that he even whistled to the boy or girl ! :D) 2:17 till 2:30.... They don't show it full screen but Kimi picks up a kid from the audience and take her/him back to his/her parents maybe. I almost died seeing him doing this. awwwwwwwwwwww I already envy his kids.... He'll be a great dad!

He even talked in Italian LOL He said "grazie".... Wow that was the 3rd time I heard him telling some Italian words. Wish I'd hear him talking in Italian more because he's so cute doing that.

These videos made my day and they'll be enough for me to survive the days without him.

Felipe spoke italian? Or was it portuguese...

Italian at Caschi D'Oro interview (where they got those awards) and Portuguese at Telethon (where they were asked to tell something in their mother language). Btw, what did Kimi say in Finnish?

Here's an interesting article. Is it about how Kimi and his style changed during the years? Would you please tell me what did they write under the pics?

Oh, and Kimi's salary is in danger...:D I put this smiley here because it's kinda ridiculous. I mean he (and other drivers) earns so much money that it's almost pointless... IMO he earns just from Ferrari 48 million and they would cut it down to 45 maybe or 40...? and what about the promotional money he gets from e. g. Tag Heuer, MTV3, etc.

Cost cuts could hit drivers' wages

Formula One drivers will be the next to suffer the consequences of the worldwide economic downturn by being forced to accept reduced wages, claims Ferrari's team boss.

With the FIA and the teams having worked hard in recent weeks to thrash out a major overhaul of the technical rules to help reduce budgets, there are widespread hopes that the sport can see itself through the difficult financial times.

But Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali thinks such cost savings are only the start of a spending clampdown that teams are going to have to go through - and he believes drivers will be the next target.
"I think that in the following months there will be a major revolution, also with the drivers, as far as retainers are concerned," Domenicali said in an interview with Italian magazine Autosprint.

Domenicali believes that the momentum for such a drastic course of action - which could go as far as current terms having to be renegotiated - will come from the bigger teams.

"Let's be clear: at a moment when the teams, whether big or small, must reduce costs in a significant way, one could feel like saying you need an ace to make the difference," he explained.

"However, I feel that in the current climate the big teams - the small ones can't do that now - won't have the ability anymore to think of offering certain amounts of money that some drivers get. So discussions can be held on this issue."

When asked whether terms of contracts that were recently signed, such as Kimi Raikkonen's fresh deal announced in Monza, could be changed, Domenicali said: "Anything can be modified in life.
"The important thing is wanting to do it. We know the terms of the contract. However, I'm convinced that this issue will soon be discussed among all the teams and with every driver."

"I hope everyone could take part in this important charity for people who have cancer"

1st pic
In the beginning of Kimi's F1 career he dated Hanna Raivisto. Here they are in Monaco 2001.

2nd
In 2001 Kimi was chosen Motor athletic of the year by Ruutulippu. What's arousing is Kimi's leather suitcoat. :D

3rd
Pit-fashion from Räikkönen's in Australian grand prix 2002.

4th
Usually Kimi doesn't cut a dash with his hairstyle but sometimes he cuts his hair short. In the picture he's living the year 2002 but he cut his hair also in the beginning of this year.

5th
Kimi and Jenni shotted on the Driver of the Year -cruising in December 2002. But what are you wearing, Kimi?

6th
Kimi has also his own clothes collection called Iceman. Naturally it includes caps and sweatshirts that Kimi likes to wear, too.

7th
In summer 2007 Kimi surprised showing up on a gorilla suit in Poker Run event in Hanko.

8th
The most typical Kimi style.

9th
Jenni and Kimi were invited to the president's palace last year.

10th
Kimi has two flashy tattoos in his hands. The tribal tattoo on the right hand covers the sun tattoo that was earlier in it. In left hand there is text 'Iceman'.

11th
On his holiday Kimi relaxes in icehockey match. And of course the F1 driver is dressed in cap and sweatshirt.

Here's a Christmas caption. Sooo cute! :)

Merry Christmas to Kimi and his family! :)

From Autosprint of this week, some news about Kimi's new engineer Andrea Stella:
He's an aerospace engineer and with Kimi he has a relationship of esteem and friendship. He's one of the few non-Finns who is able to have a conversation of more of eleven words with Kimi. "They say he's a cold person - tells about the pilot - but when he won the World Championship in 2007, at the last race, I saw him cry."
Stella will replace Chris Dyer, Australian, who will become coordinator of the engineers, even for testing (that is, we presume, for the next five winter sessions ...).

Try to guess what I got for Christmas from mum?

HANNAN118.jpg

It's fun because of course she knew I'm a fan of Kimi and F1 (though don't really show it that much in my daily life lol) and I never said I want that book though I had thought it would be nice, and now I have it, yay! :D

^^^OMG!!!!!! :clapping:You are so lucky!!!!! 1. because you have this book, 2. you can read it LOL

I so hope they would translate it into English because it would be a huge bestseller I guess! :)

Thanks for the pics! Did you read it? Is there something in it we didn't know already?

Jäämies means Iceman?

LOL I haven't read it yet  I'll start someday when I have time, it will take time though to read it through because I'm so busy with school!
And yes, Jäämies = Iceman

^^ I thought you maybe read some lines or chapters from that book... and OMG, I thought you are on holiday! Do you go to school between Christmas and New Year's Eve?:bugeyed Wow, we always have Winter holiday here during that time, about 2 weeks. I have also some days off, 2 and a half weeks! :)

Jäämies - LOL I'm proud of myself though it was not so hard to figure it out that it means Iceman, because I've heard somewhere that ice is jää in Finnish, and of course what else could be a book's title if it is about Kimi.

What does that mean "Räikkösen". Does it mean Räikkönen's? Does "henkilökuva" mean life? or what?

Paula Raikkonen:
"Since he was a very small boy, Kimi has always wanted to be the BEST.Whatever sports he was practicing, he was trying so hard to be the best. No matter if he was playing ice-hockey, football, track and field, or cross-country skiing in school. The aim was always the same.

I think it was when Kimi was 8 , he hugged me and said: 'Oh mother, 1 day I'm going to be the World Champion, but right now I do not know yet in what sports Im going to achieve it'.

And it was not only in sports that Kimi tried to be the best. He was very keen on handiwork and for example, when he was making objects of wood, it took so long before he was satisfied. We should have taken photos of how everything was in such a brilliant order.

At school Kimi was only interested in sports and handiwork. He didnt have any problems w/ mathematics and other subjects, if he concentrated, but that seldom happened. Kimi just wanted to do things that demanded competence.

And he was winning too. When Kimi was very young he would wrestle w/ his 2-yr-older and 20 cms-taller big brother, Rami- and always bet his brother he would win."

It's from an old interview with Kimi's mother and I had to share it with you. It's great and tells a lot about our Kimi!

No no, we have holidays now but still I should read one book, do a family research and all stuff for school..

Yay you're good at guessing what words mean  Räikkösen = Räikkönen's
But henkilökuva = characterization :)

I've read about 80 pages of the book now, it's very fascinating to read! It feels so amazing that kimi managed to win the title..
The book is pieced together in strange order though, since I've already read the happenings of season 2007 and seasons 01-06 are still coming in the end of the book. Now I'm reading about the buzz that was after Kimi had won the title. It would have been better if the season 07 would have been in the end as culmination of the book.

^^^thanks for the infos! :)

Alonso in fresh Ferrari link:(
http://www.autosport.com/news/grapevine.php/id/72582

I just don't get it... why they want Kimi to fire and why not Massa? Kimi is their world champion while Massa isn't...

^Yeah, I saw a headline of that but didn't read it..
It's totally unnecessary start those rumours now since Ferrari has 2 drivers for the next 2 seasons, but who knows what happends after.

^^^you are right, we better do not start worry about that at all.

All we could hope for a great next season for our Kimi!

Only 89 days and the season of 2009 will start in Melbourne!!!:clapping:

89 wow :bugeyed It seems so long..

We should except a good season! :D You have probably noticed that every other year is good for Kimi and every other isn't...
2001- was good, the first year at Sauber
2002 - first year at McLaren wasn't brilliant
2003- second year was better, Kimi was second in championship
2004- bad season..
2005- better than last one
2006- not so good again..
2007- I guess we know how it went ;)
2008- could've been better
2009- ??

^^^It seems so far away but if we consider that 2 months has already gone very quickly... that doesn't seem so much IMO. It will be here sooner than we think.

Of course! I noticed that schema!:cheeky:

A lot of Kimi fans expect better season for/from Kimi in 2009 because 9 is an odd number. In every odd numbered year Kimi's performance was better than in even numbered years.

It's funny but it's true. As you wrote it in your post.

Let's wait and see!

Btw, some members already read the story about the hay bales and they liked it so much!:D So thanks once again! :)
