Dispatching TICKETS!!

It took around 6 weeks back in summer 2003 (in the US) for me to get my passport. Right now is probably a busy season, with lots of folks wanting to travel over the summer, so maybe it's just taking longer. And I don't think renewals take as long as brand new passports.
 
I have called Ticketmaster a few days ago.

I will pick up the tickets at the venue now!
For me its much safer that way!
 
You can't pick them up, though, right?

Anyone found out about why all the tickets show they will be shipped out on January 14th, 2010 at 11:00PM?

If you are coming from abroad and the tickets were booked on your card (or the card holder will be accompanying you) there is no reason why you cannot collect the tickets from the box office. But be prepared to get there early to queue!

Yes, I know that, but thought maybe he found a faster way to do so.
 
so we can do that? cool!! i think i'll call them to pick out my ticket,rather than ship it. well...my turn is still january though...^__^

Yes. ;) It gives you that option when you buy them. I chose shipping though because I can't chance being held up in a HUGE line and only just sitting down when Michael's starting... Besides.. If the tickets don't arrive in time, they will set up a will call option for you.
 
People ,

Im going at concert who is at 22.7 and im flying to London at 21.7 so i need ticket at least 10 day before i go ....

Please what to do if i dont get the ticket in that period ...what is the last day you would wait ???and what to do than ?
 
tm say if u have not got your ticket 5 days b4 travel or longer if u are abroad then ring them.
your flying the day b4 the show theres no problem. its not like you are going the week b4

At the same time, however, I have yet to recieve my tickets for The Gossip which is at the end of the month.

When you get your tickets varies on the size of the event and how badly the tickets are likely to be touted. Green Day is one such event which is why I was surprised at how early they arrived. However, for music festivals such as T in the Park and Glastonbury, where people are likely to have bought the tickets purely to sell on to make a profit, they don't arrive until much closer to the date.

Each year, I recieve my T tickets just a few days before the festival and I'm sure MJ will be the same. I think all tickets will be sent out late June, and opening night tickets will be with you for 2nd/3rd July-ish.

Firstly lucky you for getting green day tickets..i missed out :(

But I also recieved wwe tickets for november the other day, yet im still waiting on nin tickets which are on 12th july (i think) and mj tixs obviously..seems to down to promotor not outlet to me

Gah, I really hope they don't leave it that late to send them. I'll be a nervous wreck by then. :bugeyed LOL
 
hey just thought Id let you all know, Im going to see Britney in The O2 in London on June. Just checked my order history on Ticketmaster and its says my tickets have been dispatched. Thats 3 weeks, 2 days before the concert, they updated my order history. Hopefully I should have them by the end of the week. hope this eases peoples minds abit
 
Well I wrote TM an email but of course they didn't reply...
I'm coming from the States, leaving here on the 22nd of July, going to Romania then on the 27th getting to London. So. I will definitely have to find a different way of getting them. I really don't want to have to get in line at 6 AM bc I'm sure there will be a lot of ppl in that situation... This sucks!
 
Why are people worrying about collecting tickets at the box office? I'm sure they'll have extra hands available considering the amount of people traveling to the shows from different countries.. and it only takes about 2mins to get the tickets lol
 
There are loads of box office booths at The O2 - you should get your tickets in 10mins at the most if you have to collect them at the Box Office.
 
For my 22nd feb 2010 tickets, on tracking it says:

We will start to despatch tickets for this event on approximately 01/02/2010 and we expect to have all tickets despatched by 15/02/2010. Tickets will be despatched to *my address*

So it looks like they'll be sent either a week or two before the concert

Yes, I'm still seeing it... and my ticket is for September.

Can't they fix it? lol
 
hey dont worry, i have the same date for the dispatch and my tickets are for july! i think its just in the system, dont think its the date they dispatch it
 
Quick question for Canadian fans. On my Ticketmaster billing address it never asked for a Province...Will that be a problem? Should I add that in now? I don't want to change anything lol...
 
question for any fans who changed the delivery method from shipping to picking it up at the box office: did you receive shipping cost back yet?
