O M G, what is wrong with you people? I returned to respond to some of the replies made within this thread and I walked into thissssssss...LOL!!!!! I have never laughed so hard for so long in quite a while. You ALL made me lose my thoughts. Now, I have to gather them together again IF I can. That's right I am calling 'every single one of you' out---your guilty of making me lose my "sanity"; having me here in a state of 'hysteria'. You peeps are so bad but, I'm LOVING it!

lol is it because we've gone from discussing spiritual connections to ... well quite honestly, may seem naive, and remember, I was 18 when RWY came out...it was to me two ppl, kinda intertwined maybe, knees to knees actually rocking together..

(.....you all may not realize it but "THE ROCK" was a dance back then.... can't believe I said "back then" .... it made me feel so old :lol: )


so it was about being on the dancefloor .... allll niiiiiiiigggght ..... and that was about the size of it ... is that naive? or what ? :lol: hook me up...maybe there's somethings I need to know LOL ...

in other words...it was basically JUST A SONG that was about ..... dancing all night ... and I LOVED IT omgoodness......

this is the truth y'all..

I could not stop playing that record no matter how hard i tried...and also um...working day and night...omy gootness but anyway ...lol...so yeh

I still don't see that song from the "new" context but the fact that I don't see it doesn't make me try and stop what other ppl see so I just don't comment but no...to me its about having a blast together on the dancefloor with this guy who knows how to make you forget all the problems of the world ....

however...as I said, it caused me to listen to all the music in a different way because surely I can see the plausability of the fact that ppl may use the word 'rock' for 'other things' because that's what ppl do..associate unrelated terms to it so i can believe ppl have done so with this song, as I said tho...I just never woulda thought of it that way.

Don't worry, STATEofSHOCK! You are not alone! I used to think the exact same thing as you!! :lol: I also used to think that "Rock With You" was only about the dancefloor and that's what I respect about MJ so much. He has a way of singing about sex in a way that allows you to have your kids in the room with this song blasting out the speakers and they have no idea what he's actually singing about! LOL "Rock With You" went completely over my head back in the day!! LOL

The other song that went over my head back in the day was "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough." And MJ actually wrote that one himself. It's a very steamy song, but the way he wrote it allows adults to blast it out of their speakers and kids have no idea what he is singing about until they get older. lol

"Off The Wall" is the album that let's us know that MJ had moved beyond just spending time being hugged up with the ladies. He was actually getting closer than close with the ladies. He had become well seasoned. Know what I'm sayin'? If you need a little more to go on, listen to "It's The Falling In Love."

When MJ went solo that's when we girls got an extra special treat! :wub:

MJ is so romantic and he loves the dance so much that he even refers to making love as the dance
