Glad you actually appreciated my little correction.. but are you sure he ever said it? I have never read that, or heard it, but he played the song at the end of "Private Home Movies" and ever since that, the phrase has been "He wrote that song to his children".. don't know, if fans just started saying that or what?

Speechless however, he said in an interview, like you are saying, that he saw some children playing in the forest, or something like that. And another time, he said that he wrote it after a waterballoonfight in Germany.

I just wanted to add that regarding Speechless, he gave 2 versions, I think he did that because the song is actually a love song, a song about someone special and he didn´t want to tell. Same when he gave 2 versions to Bashit about Blanket´s mother. He wanted it to stay private.

As far as "Heaven Can Wait" is concerned, anyone ever wonder why, in the lyrics, Michael is against the woman in the song "moving on" as puts it?

Like when he sings such lines as, "The time might come around when you'd be moving on." "Can't stand to see nobody touching, kissing her." "Couldn't take nobody loving you the way we were."

Usually when you truly love your partner, as much as the thought might be hurtful at first, you tend to come to the conclusion that you don't want them to be lonely after you're gone and deep down you want them to find love again, no?

IA with you SoS about LMA. I think he was begging to be left alone by people who were bothering hiim. Maybe the song really was about a guy and a girl like he said in the early stages then he realized it could also be a song about him asking to be left alone.

[FONT=&amp]Something about the word ‘might’ when it comes to ‘time’. "Might" = uncertain "Time" = certain so the two in the same phrase seems to be suggesting something such as a fear of too much passing of time.[/FONT]

"you're my baby, don't you do this to me" seems to go onto a completely new thought about her leaving him and takes me back to the first line of the song being "tell the angels no”.

Do you hear in the background vocals, "this sinner will be waiting" ? or “just send her we’ll be waiting”?

Near the end I hear, don't leave" - anyone else catch that?

And in the very last line of the song its easy to assume he's saying 'leave me alone' like he is in the other lines back to back but that final line sounds to me like, "I say leave me a call" anyone hear it?

At first blush it seems like a song about him leaving or not leaving the planet but listening in detail here it sounds like he could be crytically talking to her about not leaving.[/FONT]

In response to your direct question, I feel those are the reasons why it seems incongruent in that way in which one normally would think of it.

"you're my baby, don't you do this to me" seems to go onto a completely new thought about her leaving him and takes me back to the first line of the song being "tell the angels no”.

Do you hear in the background vocals, "this sinner will be waiting" ? or “just send her we’ll be waiting”?

Near the end I hear, don't leave" - anyone else catch that?

And in the very last line of the song its easy to assume he's saying 'leave me alone' like he is in the other lines back to back but that final line sounds to me like, "I say leave me a call" anyone hear it?

At first blush it seems like a song about him leaving or not leaving the planet but listening in detail here it sounds like he could be crytically talking to her about not leaving.[/FONT]

That seems like a side thought as to say the world would have to stop if he left . Why would THE WORLD have to stop? What could that mean? Poetic license perhaps?
