IMHO, there is a huge possibility that this "special lady" that he is in love with could be anyone. MJ has zillions of fans throughout the world and has met a lot of female fans. I am sure that there are many fans who are friends with other female fans, including within this thread, who have had the privilege of meeting him. So, just as much as one might believe that their friend who has told them something, which seems to connect them to Michael, in some way, that could be true for the numerous amount of other fans as well whose female friends are friends with him too. What I am getting at is I thought a few pages back it was mentioned that the purpose of this thread was not to figure out who this "mystery lady" is or what she looks like. In fact, I feel that AllForMJ mentioned it best that when it comes to this "special lady" that is something for MJ, HIMSELF, to reveal.

Actually I always thought "Whatever Happens" was about losing a baby, for some reason...I always thought it was about MJ and Debbie somehow. There were rumors that Debbie lost a baby before Prince was born, so Whatever Happens kind of makes me think about that. But it could really be about anything between two people and their relationship really.

It's like in the first part SHE is insecure and scared about what's going on (in their relationship or in some other difficult situation they both have to try to endure) and he is there for her, supporting her and trying to understand her and trying to give her what she needs...He tries to do his best...and still, he is feeling helpless too because he doesn't really know how to comfort her or if what he says is doing any good so that's why "he prays"...

And in the second part to me it's about how he is giving his all...He is pouring his heart and soul into the relationship...He is doing EVERYTHING for her. ANYTHING to make her happy. And is forgetting his own dreams and desires in the process. ("Forgetting all the dreams that he had") He is working his butt off to give her everything her heart could possibly desire financially...and he is trying to please her and give her everything and anything she could possibly want...but he doesn't realize that what really makes her happy, is just being with him...and his love. ("She tries to explain, It's YOU that makes me happy"). She doesn't need all these material things and all these gifts and fancy clothes/cars/whatever....she just wants to be with him, spend time with him, hold him close...and that's enough for her and that's all that she needs. And it feels like he is so desperate to please her that he kind of gets "lost" in the process...and if there is even one little thing that woudl indicate she isn't happy with him or something he did...it's like the "end of the world" to him. But she's trying to make him see that "it doesn't have to be that bad". Because the only thing she needs is him and his love. Everything else is irrelevant. Or on the other hand it could be that IF the song was really about losing a baby...it's like she is telling him that it's not the end of the world...like she's saying "I still love you, no matter what".

Anyways...I DON'T KNOW what the song is about. :lol: That's just "my interpretation". :lol: And TO ME....even though that song seems to be about a relationship...it still reminds me of the night my dad died at the hospital. My dad always kept assuring me everything will be alright. I was consumed by everything that had been going on. I was holding my dad's hand until he died. My dad was ALWAYS working, always making sure we are okay, etc....there are just so many things that remind me of the night my dad died and the whole thing. So that song has a totally different meaning to me personally and I start crying pretty much every time I listen to it. And like I said..the first part also somehow makes me think of losing a baby...don't ask me why, but it just does.

So those are my two cents about that song. :lol:

True, and we have to respect the fact that evidently Michael likes mystery or else he'd do whatever someone with his resources does to find someone, get in their face and say, "I've been looking all over for you!!"

but instead, over the course of time, he lays out the spiritual significance this 'relationship' has for him, by using his God-given, spiritually inspired, medium of music, as a means to communicate ... and as everyone has pointed out ... that makes him, and everything about this, very sweet, beautiful and very romantic :wub:
 
summer this is a great idea...wow ...now when you said this..it could be also like debbie was worried about the rumours and also about the bad news...and he did said to her that everyting will be alright...whatever happens dont let go of my hand. wasnt Michael new divorced at this time around 1998?that would make sense...

Oooooo, ain't no telling because he also said,"Come on out. I'm coming. I'm coming." It could mean one, the other or both. lol. He is so much fun!

Gotta wait for him to start rollin' in order to see where he's going. It really doesn't feel like it's going to be too much longer. It's definitely not years off. It seems like he's pretty anxious to crank things up.

As a matter of fact, I need to get my butt out there and buy my tickets to Janet's concert before they're gone. She's about to do her thing too. I wouldn't be surprised if MJ starts releasing songs sometime this year and then tour some time after Janet is done so their albums and concerts won't overlap. It seems like he would let his baby sister finish up before he fully starts pushing his project(s) and making his rounds.

I guess the song "Someone in the dark.." was to this "E.T" film about this alien, so may be the aliens were meant as secret friends.

You know what? This thread is about love (because he's very loving), romance (because he's very romantic), spirituality (because he's very spiritual), comedy (because he's very funny) and music (because he's very musical -- the best at it).

This thread can go in many different directions because he's very colorful.
