Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

Feeling better today, and I'm back at school after going home yesterday to fight off this sickness.

But I would rather be sick like that than have to deal with this emotional pain.

Shabuya, glad you popped in.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

Argh! I still don't feel well. I have a normal temperature. I'll just stick to my diet of Sprite, crackers, jello, and applesauce for the time being. Grgh.
I heard from him last night. I told him I'd follow what he had expected originally and I told him he didn't have to commit right now because he told me he didn't want a relationship right now, and I had told him what I expected from him. He said he'd consider and attempt. He deleted me on Facebook, though...don't know why. Hopefully we can work this out.

Now, to stop being sick...

See, that's the thing. I don't know.
I don't really want him out of my life totally, either. If friends is enough...

But I really don't know.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

I would just let him go, honestly. He even blocked you from his facebook and he didn't give you a reason for that. Just would not be worth it to me to salvage that. To me, you deserve a lot better. You are kind, etc. You deserve a guy who will give you the same kindness and respect.

Well, he didn't block me. I can see some things on his profile. If I was blocked, I wouldn't be able to see anything on his profile. I was talking to him after he did that. I don't know.
Everyone is telling me I deserve better and my best friend got really hurt by someone and she doesn't want to see that happen to me.
I'm just praying and praying for myself and for him. That's the only thing I've been able to do.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

Well, he removed you. That would show me what he really thought of me.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

He removed you and he didn't give you a reason. There should be somekind of reason. I'm paranoid, so I'd say he tries to "look like single" in facebook. Ugh...

I removed my girlfriend once in facebook. It was about a month ago because I got so mad because she (and my best friend [who is also ex-boyfriend of my girlfriend]) spammed so much on my facebook wall. I explained it to her and added again after that so there was no problem. :)

But you two are on facebook too? I'd love to add you. :)

Hey friends!

Sorry this is double post. We had tomorrow practise with audience and premier on Saturday but my opposite actor's hand broke down. She is 60 years old and she ain't in good shape. She just had a cancer and she has to take a lot of medicine if she wants to do something. We got replacing actor for these two shows but I pray that she'll be fine and she can come back next week.

Evilman, I'm in the MJJC group on there. My URL is beatlebabe2891.

I scheduled a counseling appointment. My intake appointment is on the 30th. I hope this helps.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

I found and added you. I hope you don't bother that I use mainly Finnish on facebook.

Whoah! It's weekend soon. And I'm here with my phone. Hah. :)

God bless her. I know cancer survivors and people with chronic diseases such as diabetes (which isn't as debilitating as cancer, but it's still a burden to live with so many restrictions - not trying to order diseases up in here, any form of human suffering is terrible) and they are amazing people trying to get back to life, but at times they end up hurting themselves by doing too much. I pray your colleague gets better and you can perform together soon.

MJJ_luv, i see you are 'only' 19 - i know how patronizing it can sound lol, but you have ALL of life ahead of you. I really am not in any position to give anybody advice, especially when it comes to this stuff and i haven't read all of what you've been through with this guy, but i would pray for wisdom and guidance from the Lord so you can know for sure if this is something worth fighting till the very end cause something wonderful awaits you or if you are wasting precious time. I don't know many things, but i know what it's like to see years go by in the name of nothing, so please be careful on whom you shower your affection. Again, if this is the real deal, go for it with all your heart and might, but if not...i know it's awful difficult to discern between the two though.

At times, pain in a difficult relationship seems a valid alternative to solitude, some (aka Bono and company lol) say the only pain is to feel nothing at all and that can be true many times - emptiness is an awful feeling, but as i said, time is precious and you may end up losing months/years on something that would not have worked out anyhow.

And remember, for any door that gets shut, there is an window opening up on something which can far more wonderful than you can ever imagine. I know it's a cliche, but it's true. That particular something may not always be when and how you thought it would be, but it can be amazing. The Lord is never late and always on time, so He'll provide you with all the answers in His time and in His way.

Earth_Song - thanks for your kind words. I'll be popping in as often as time allows, especially now that it's the Lent season.

God bless you everyone. Here's a little something to remind us all of God's grace, love and mercy which know no limits. As it is with our earthly parents for whom we stay children even if we are in our 70s lol, that is even truer for the good Lord - we all are children in His eyes and it pains Him when we suffer (the greatest pain being separation from Him) but through it all He loves us with an everlasting love always ready to guide, forgive and help us.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

Hello, I hope everyone is well today.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

Hi Michelle. Doing good, thanks. My husband and I joined a gym and are having fun working out together. Last night, he did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 15 on a bike, and I did one hour on the bike. Today, we did one hour on the treadmill. Awesome to workout together.

Re: Any Believers in Jesus Christ Here? (Non-debate thread for believers only)

Glad to hear, Earthy. :) I'd love to workout sometime but it seems like I'm always too tired or I make up some excuse not to workout. :D

We had final rehearsal yesterday. It was with audience. There were only like 20-30 people watching but it was awesome anyway. Wow. I didn't remember the feeling that I get when show is over. It is something so awesome. We got some good feedback also. :)

But about that one of our actors I told you about before... It seems like her arm is broken and she can't act for three weeks. Doctors said she doesn't need surgery but she can't move her arm for three weeks. Her replacing actor was good but I'm not very good friend of her, so it is a bit harder without "chemistry". Yesterday it turned out pretty well anyway. :)

How are you friends?

Sorry to hear about your friend being kept away for so long, will keep on praying for her. Glad to hear the rehearsal went well. :) Good luck with everything, when do you have the show proper?

This is so beautiful. Especially at 3:14. That part just makes it so easy to imagine Heaven!!

Michelle, THANK YOU ever so much, this was a wonderful rendition of Psalm 23. Perhaps it only is my crazy, medieval-focused mind as of late (just yesterday i was listening to some medieval music at my office lol), but the melody sure creates that atmosphere, for me, at least. I wonder who is singing though, he has a wonderful voice, it exudes such purity and tranquility... Loved the imagery as well, i looove meadows and fields and all that good, beautiful stuff the good Lord made for us to enjoy which unfortunately we don't always treasure and end up abusing many times.

You are sooo right, that moment at 3:14 looks like a vision of heaven; that kind of light coming out of clouds always reminds me of that exact thing - i sit and imagine that heaven must be like that; i actually saw a bit of that earlier this week during one sunet, it was gorgeous although there were not nearly enough rays of light to make it truly breathtakingly spectacular. Look at me, i'm complaing about it, instead of simply enjoying it lol. I guess i'm ever so ungrateful, like any other human being, never totally satisfied with anything.

I like this song. It has a good message:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWWc8lGiHEc

Wonderful message and great beat; wasn't aware of it either. Thank you so much , honestly, from the bottom of my heart, as Michael used to say lol. I thoroughly enjoyed these videos, i already think imma have them on repeat for the next few days.

And to answer notsoEvilman's question :p - i'm doing great enjoying wonderful spring weather, hearing children laugh and play by the river and watching planes go by imagining i will soon be in one of them hahaha. I also need to take down the Christmas tree back at my house - yeah, believe it or not, Easter is coming but i still have the tree all up and full of decorations lol. I think imma do that tomorrow though.

In the Catholic calendar yesterday we celebrated Saint Joseph, so it was a special day for me cause of some other reasons, but mainly because of Michael - i thought about him a lot, even more so than i usually do. It was a bit tough, it's kinda hard trying to be strong, but i know the good Lord takes care of everything and everyone and He is our comforter. I did put an extra prayer for Michael, his father and all those sharing that beautiful, faith filled name.

stjosephsrneallis.jpg

But since i don't wanna end this on a sad note, here are a couple of musical pieces i love - Michael W. Smith - Agnus Dei http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s33Yx31Cpi4 and a Gregorian chant for Kyrie Eleison http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6oM1iLJH6k filled with beautiful images of Byzantine icons. I especially love the Christ Pantocrator images.

I was gonna push the submit reply button when i heard an amazing commentary about tomorrow's Gospel passage in the mass about the 'cast the first stone' episode that i simply had to share. Jesus looks first not at people's sin, but at their pain. The people He dislikes the most are accusers. God grants us forgiveness not because we deserve it, but because of the good that we are still capable of doing in the future; the good we might do tomorrow is bigger than the evil of today. It was said long ago that the enemy is the master of the past, the Lord comes from the future. Go and sin no more those are the Lord's words encouraging us to take hold of our lives and our future in light of His forgiveness.

Now this is really it, can't believe i wrote so much. *giggles* God bless you everyone :flowers:

So you're obviously Catholic. That's great. Actually I think I remember you introducing yourself on here before. Thank you for your post as well. God forgives us because He is all good and all loving, and of course we can only do good by cooperating with His grace. Although I remembered yesterday was the Feast of St. Joseph, I forgot about Joseph being Michael's middle name and his father's first name. I'm glad you liked the links I provided. I love Shepard Me O God. I really do love that song. And I love the second song as well. It's nice to have secular songs that give such good messages. Anyway, good to see you posting.

woah woah woah sweet child of mine! the Catholic faith is not secular,by its very definition it cannot be secular!

HUH??? Where did I ever imply I thought the Catholic Faith is secular. More so I am Catholic so why would I even think that?? I'm sorry if I came across unclear. I was only sharing thoughts of why God forgives us, and that's what the Church teaches, because of God's love and mercy, not because we deserve it. I'm baffled I came across wrong.

I think I know where you got this crazy idea about me thinking the Catholic Faith is secular. The secular song I was referring to was "Live Like We're Dying" by Kris Allen, which was the second link I put up, if you looked at the links. As far as I know that hasn't been on any Christian or Catholic radio stations, so I assume it was a secular song with a Christian message. I certainly hope that clears things up for you. PM me if you need any more clarification of what I meant.
