We Give Thanks

That was the theme of our mission trip last year. The whole week focused on that and asking, seeking, and knocking.

I have two friends from a former church I went to, and they will be doing the Susan G. Komen 3 day race for the cure. Each has raised over $2,000 for the cause. Please keep Nancy, the mom, and a 10 year survivor, and her daughter Kristi, in your thoughts and prayers as they fight for the cure!!

The race is October 9th through the 11th.

Hi Rockin,
I wanted a few days break from posting here, and I got it, although I still read this thread and saw your post to me. I felt like we were looked down upon too a few days ago, but you know what. All that matters is what God sees in our hearts. He will be the only One judging us. We know as Catholics that we believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, therefore we are saved. So unless anything starts up again, which it seems everyone wants to start over, then I wouldn't worry about how others feel. If you want to explain our faith and correct people, that's a good thing to do, but as long as others don't say anything more about our Faith, then I think we can all start over. I've thought of starting a Catholic thread, but that would be stupid, because there is this thread and we believe in Jesus as the rest of them who post here. There are just different ways of these denomination, but the uniting factor is Jesus is Lord and Savior and most of us who post here(except the athiests here) have accepted Christ as such.
So I'm not going to let what happened the other day get me down. I have other problems to deal with. Please pray Rockin, and all for a very special intention that needs to be solved quick. Thank you for your prayers.
The only reason I answered Rockin's post is not to bring everything back up again, but so she wouldn't think I ignored her.

Thank you, Chrissy. I'm glad I did something good today. I'm sorry I had a rotten day, and I really need prayers from those here. I need prayers big time. I thank everyone who will pray in advance. For the record, the rotten day I had did not have anything to do with Michael for the most part. BUT, ever since he passed away, all my Thursdays have been bad days of some sort. Last Thursday wasn't so bad, but what happened to me yesterday made up for both yesterday and last Thursday.
Things could be worse, but this problem still needs to be solved quick.

I'm too ashamed to say what happened on a public board. It's nothing I did wrong I guess, but something done to me that maybe if I've been better it wouldn't have happened. So that's why I feel ashamed. Again, like I said, I'm ashamed to say what it is on a public board.

And I understand we all have rotten days, but I'm not going to take what happened to me lightly.

I'm not sure what has happened but I have been through a lot since I was 7yrs old. Most of my friends use me as a counselor.

I know you don't know me or nothing about me & it's hard to talk to strangers but that's what Jesus did. He spoke to all,loved & encouraged all :)
