OMG so sad but true. You are so right. Gosh... thinking about that makes me so sad. That's all MJ ever wanted or needed. Someone he could trust and love him the way he deserved to be loved. I know his children gave him the love, but they couldn't take care of him as he needed to be. Unfortunately, he was surrounded by sharks that used and abused. Thank God that Britney's father stepped up and saved his little girl.

I agree.. I give mad props to Mr. Spears for saving his daughter. Too bad Mr Joe Jackson didn't give a damn about his son
 
i dont think joe or any of the other brothers and sister could have that effect on mj to get him to do anything. the only person who could have done that was the momma(katherine). there are also a few other artist who parents stepped in and helped

I'm looking forward to her upcoming album. HIAM didn't really please me as a single, but I do like most of Britney's work. We'll see, I reckon, neh?

She's really dragging it out with all these teasers - the song peaked a long time ago and is now fizzling out. Everyone's going Gaga now for Born This Way.

it has fizzled.. it debut at #1 and dropped like a rock. I think the song is terrible anyway

The song is still in the top 10 and the video hasn't even debuted yet. Once it does, the song is sure to rebound, as well as when the Britney publicity machine kicks in to high gear. Your perception of "dropping like a rock" is apparently very different from the actual definition. Nice try hating on Brit, but it's still a total fail.
 
Is it me or is brittney overrated as a dancer. I'm not saying she can't dance because she can, I just think she's overrated(even in her prime). That's the only thing I think she is overrated in.

I don't think Britney's dancing ability is overrated. It's honestly the only thing most people are willing to give her credit for. That's just me.

It is one of the only things that people will give her credit for and it's not as amazing as some make it seem. She can move but she always has this slight stiffness to her.

Well, in the UK and many other European countries, it peaked almost immediately after the song came out. It only reached number six in the UK and has been rapidly dropping ever since due to the lack of promotion or video. I doubt it will be in the top 40 (over here) when the video is released, and certainly won't re-enter higher than the top 20.

All these teasers are unnecessary - if the video was ready, they should have out it out when the buzz was highest. Now, everyone's talking about the record-breaking Born This Way, and waiting for Gaga's Grammy performance and that video (which has already been shot). People have moved on.
 
As much as I love Britney, I absolutely loathe her new single. I hope at least the video is good, and that the rest of the album has some good songs.

All I'm going to say is speak for yourself.
 
I'm just wondering, the "Hold It Against Me" song came out early last month. Didn't Britney start making the video when the song had been out for at least a week and a half? If so, IMO they should have held off the song's release until after the video footage was done and then brought the song out while the video was in the process of being prepared for airing. I like the song. But I personally think they could have waited a little bit longer to release it. To me, then it would have that double impact it needed to stay on the charts longer on those where it fell.

why was she a no-show at the Grammys?!?!? Britney should have performed in place of Lady Gaga
 
Well, she wasn't nominated for anything, so why would she perform her new single? Maybe she'll perform at the 2012 Grammys, if Femme Fatale is nominated. :yes:

I am VERY excited for the new music video! Britney, stop being such a darn tease! :p
