i 'm so confused.
some parts are just screaming that it is MJ. the higher range parts are exactly him
i know that if it weren't for the rumours in the first place half of us wouldn't b doubting as much as this.
but there are parts that don't sound like him...but its not impossible that those parts arent him.
wat if it is him and we've all got it wrong
i'm heartbroken now
i think sony might have to pull it...
BUT IT HAS TO BE HIM.sony aren't that stupid...this is absolute suicide to them if this isn't real. a huge company DOESN'T make a mistake like that.

im with you on this one ! the financial impact on the sony brand would be collosal if it were not MJ. i think sony will need to prove something though.

i say with this with the upmost respect for everyone but Im a bit shocked and disturbed at the way fans are reacting about this though... whether you like the song or not.... its only a song!

Yeah right..Billie Jean...Dirty Diana..Bad....Smooth Criminal...these were also songs...they changed a whole generation, affected lives!!

They were MJ songs....This clearly....is not!


I just wish this is a PR stunt...it's interesting though..in the beginning of the song the woman says "The plot thickens to destroy Michael Jackson"...PR

I lacks the layering and other things MJ usually spend centuries doing to perfect his songs.

But the lead vocals are all M. Michael Joseph Jackson

Thank you. I couldn't go to sleep knowing all this confusion that was thrown at the song. I think people can't hear because of the power of suggestion that its a fake song. Its MJ to me clear as day. On the he he he, he sounds more mature but I like it and I will support the album.

What you say is right but we don't need Seth Riggs to know that this is not Michael Jackson. Everybody knew it was not Mj. All participants must explain themselves now.

Guys we have to remember that the song wasn't recorded in a professional studio in the first place but in a HOUSE! Michael didn't have the chance to finish it off. All we have to do is send an email to Sony as a community and clarify the situation!

Haven't you heard MJ singing out of the studio?! In a house, outside in nature, at rehearsals? Can't you FELL the difference? It's not just the matter of sound, it's a DIFFERENT FEEILING when hearing this. I sometimes c*m when I hear Miachel's true voice. And this cr*p doesn't even irritate. I've recorded lyrics in a studio, a house and a closet for goodness sake. Where you record does not do that to your voice. It is possible someone did some major compressions and alterations but I don't know what's going on with the vocals. The bigger question is WHY did Sony choose to lead with that song while not even planning on it being the first single?...

Here is what I wrote to him

"Dear Mr. Riggs,

The Michael Jackson fan community is really troubled by the song that Sony just released on the official Michael Jackson website entitled "Breaking News." As his vocal coach I felt I should try to contact you on behalf of the community. Is this really Michael or is Sony trying to release a track with an impostor? You worked with our beloved until his death from my knowledge so if you could let us know the truth/your opinion would would greatly appreciate.

I don't think Seth Riggs could judge this properly, unless he would have access to the acapellas. There's too much layering going on in that song.

Its MJ and to me his voice sounds more mature. I hope everyone re-listens to it. And listen to Jason Malachi and then listen to this.
