I wouldn't be surprised if Jermaine being made fun of in private from Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Randy about his cover of Blame It On The Boogie. Because not only is Jermaine covering Michael's vocals on this song, his also covering Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Randy's backing vocals on the song. What next, Jermaine covering Show You The Way To Go or Can You Feel It, maybe even Billie Jean or Man In The Mirror.

Jermaine is a great vocalist compared and has the voice of a superstar (though not the stage presence of one), but when covering a song sung by Michael, Jermaine just sounds flat. And this combined with the fact Jermaine doesn't have a strong enough stage presence to cut it as a solo artist, just makes him look talentless. Jermaine should stick to singing his own songs, and not cover any of Michael's music in the recording studio. Because Michael's vocals can't be equaled even if your a sibling with exactly the same genes as Michael.

He actually did sing Man in the Mirror. He just didn't get the gull to put it on record like he is doing with Blame it on the Boogie. I remembered because I was mad at him for ruining probably my favorite song of all time. Personally, Billie Jean would be a good song for him to cover just because he can relate so well to the subject matter. I am sure he told more than a couple of girls that, 'it aren't my child'. In fact, he did make such a claim to his second wife to get off from paying child support.

What I find strange about all these covers is that you do see him trying to write his own songs. I mean he shot an entire video in India during the reality show and it was his own song. What happened to that and why isn't he going all over the world singing that song? Granted it didn't sound all that good, but at least it was his.

Personally, I think his next cover will be You're not Alone, just because he named his book after that song. I just cringe writing that.

I don't get him. He has real talent, he should be promoting his own songs, not Michael's. He had hits in the day. I have one of his albums.
He better contact Ron Isley and El Debarge and get on their tour. No but I think his arrogance is too much to do a tour like that. He likes pretending to be Michael. Instead of reminding the world, Hey, I'm still a great singer.

Well, let me see. He don't support tribute saying it's no good to make any celebrations while court hearing. I said to myself *Woooooow!* I was a little bit balled up to see this Jerm's attitude. But now i've got it!
In one article i read he don't support tribute because of his own fail to organize it. And when I see him making this funny video, my thoughts of his honor vanished into smoke

Jermaine is just doing what he does best, pretending he is Michael. I wonder if he did not think that now that Michael is not here, my star will shine? Maybe he really thinks that he is on a par with Michael, you never know.

I never bought his music, because I was only interested in the J5 and The Jacksons with Michael in it. Growin up we all knew whose voice was the lead there, come on Jermaine. Even though he can sing, some songs do not sound well due to his voice range, and he should know that. Well, at least he is making some money to pay off his debts. I wish I had a brother I could exploit tool

Who announced MJ's death on national TV when usually it's a doctor that does that? Jermaine
Who did an interview in Neverland with Larry King? Jermaine
Who attempted to do.. how many 3? tributes since 2009? Jermaine
Who sang Smile in various tv shows and award shows (and messing with the lyrics at the memorial btw)? Jermaine
Who said he would write his memoirs, which finally ended up being a book about his brother? Jermaine
Who said that the Michael Forever tribute concert is bad timing (when he releases his book, and films a video for BIOTB during that period)? Jermaine
Who complains on Twitter that his mom his being used to promote a concert when HE did the same, crying to his mom and asking her to do a little promotion video for his Vienna concert? Jermaine

And there are probably more I forgot in the past 2 years.

That is the problem. Jermaine acts like a 2 year old spoiled child with an attitude that 'they'll fall in love with the first person they'll see' so he is everywhere, even if we don't want to see him, he makes himself even more ridiculous that he was until now. He seem to think that now, ''it's his turn'' now that Michael, the little brother who took the lead of the group at 9 years old and took away his own time to shine, is gone. My turn, My turn, look at me!!! LOOK AT ME!!! LOVE ME!!

If only he could take care of his own children it would be a little less embarrassing... but oh well... I guess that's what a poor 82 old woman is for.

During any interview 2009/2010 she herself says that she had always said this during any interview 2009/2010.

This was a destructive saying for ALL children:
She has snubbed Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy with it and has damaged their self-esteem.
And she has blackmailed Michael with it----his whole life long.
(Last with this AllGood BS which led to Michael's death and to the death of Frank DiLeo...-my opinion-.)

It is possible that this sentence of Katherine has been the cause for much following evil.

She said that? It makes sense since it was Michael that always helped out everybody and their kids. She needed to let her kids take care of themselves. If I was Michael i would resent always being the caretaker when there all adults and capable of taking care of themselves.

Yes Katherine always said that about the brothers needing Michael. That is her way to make him work on concerts to help them out. Don't forget that in his book, Michael talked about the deal he had to make with the record company and how he knew the whole family was depending on him to make the deal. He knew the consequences if the company big shots did not accept his offer. He knew he was the key to the family fortunes. And as I said before, at that time he was about 17 years old. I do not mind him helping his family, but at the same time they need to move on with their own career. Well at least Jermaine is working. That should help him bolster up his self-esteem somehow. He is in front of the cameras and audiences as he likes to be.

You know Michael was really a good brother and son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sentiments exactly. The guilt tripping Katherine did on Michael about his huge success dwarfting that of his brothers, as if he was somehow responsible for not pulling them up with him, was foul imho. They all started out on equal footing TOGETHER. After they went their seperate ways and became men, they were responsible for their own lives.
