According to this, multitrack audio recordings were also made on July 14th (and not only on July 16th). This means, that there are at least two concerts, which could (potentially) allow a release with both great quality audio and great quality video. Of course, the master video recording of one of these concerts would have to be found first.

That's amazing if it's true and if MJ can do it.
MAkes me wish they had re-released Smooth Criminal first. If that had gone No.1 MJ would have reclaimed his record for most #1 singles from an album from Katy Perry.

Yeah.

They HAVE to release some singles that did not make it to #1! - That way the fans can make campaigns etc. to make new songs #1 !!

If they release SC with a new song as B-side - it could go to #1. - Or other songs! :)

Well, then I guess that the next move would be re-releasing Smooth Criminal single with the best Bonus track they have for the album. They could promote that well and make it to #1!
 
The Estate speaks from the Billboard Single Sales Chart, it is a chart for physical singles.
It is not the Billboard100 chart. It is sure not possible to enter without digital release and radio air play this chart on a high position.

But it is great when it goes to Number 1 on Billboard Single Chart.
 
i think if we all unite ,we can get smooth criminal to n1, just release a killer unreleased song as b side along with smooth criminal ,release to walmart 1.88 and on itunes too, and make all the fans around the world buy from itunes us, that will be a really awesome way to thank michael, breaking another record on his name....
 
I wonder if the Estate had the multitracks on-hand for this release or did they need to request copies from GoFlying?

If you don't have any radio airplay, it's going to be hard to get to the top of the hot 100. Especially for a 25 year old song.

oh yeah , i forgot about that....but it can still chart very high if a lot of people buy it
