Oh, and another thing.

Let's say that MJ found out about adding DD late in the show and decided to do it as the encore instead.

Why not STILL do The Way You Make Me Feel as well?

It's not as if the show was adding an extra song. It was just simply moved.

Could have went Dirty Diana, TWYMMF, Man in the Mirror.
The extent of clothing changes would be the white button up to the blue button up.


But now I'm just trying to re-write HIStory and stage manager decisions :D

Me too. I want to see him bend down, spin, come up on his toes and sing in that passionate voice. I actually taught him to sing that song one night after a midnight visit.

There were so much thieves in Michael's life so it's not impossible or weird what Estate is telling. If you wanna blame someone that should not be Sony or the Estate it should be Thome and other who stole from Michael, or Michael himself who didn't take better care of his personal stuff.

He DID do DD and TWYMMF at Wembley, but it's still unsure if he did them on the 16th.)

He posted HQ snippets from both July 15th (3 first songs) and 16th.
But we will only be sure when the tracklist is released. I really wanna see DD, TWYMMF and Thriller....as well as Smooth Criminal...and Billie Jean.....Working Day and Night 88.....and all of them after all :punk:

Just try and imagine yourself back to that night - did it ever cross your mind that you would like to be reincarnated as a microphone stand? If so, it's pretty probable that dd was played.

He would never change song order. But it is possible that he was tired and decided to do only Man In The Mirror as encore and cut out TWYMMF. It's not that unusual.

Why would they lie? If they have better quality than a VHS tape I'm sure they would use it. I don't know where those concerts are. Maybe someone stole them like many unreleased songs, maybe the owner of the production company that filmed the concerts has them and he's refusing to release them - like will.i.am.

The jumbotrons didnt just film close ups. When I saw MJ at Wembley in '88 the screens were showing everything. Will have to scan my photos into my laptop to show you all.

I agree. There ARE more. Certainly the fact that Princess Di was there isn't the only draw for using this particular show.

We could all speculate for days on why there aren't higher quality recordings around and convince ourselves it's because other people own it (which doesn't make sense when you think about it. If they can release a "personal VHS copy" of the concert, that personal copy was filmed and edited by the same team that filmed all the other shows and they will surely be credited as such in the credits. So it stands to believe there are other shows available.)

I really had believed that there was a show(s) that were shot on film a-la Moonwalker Man In The Mirror. That would have been ACE. And because it was shot on film, it could be upgraded to HD (see Moonwalker Blu-Ray).

I'd be curious to know if MITM was the ONLY song shot on film with the purpose of releasing for Moonwalker.

Can you imagine if there was a Bad Tour show that looked THAT good??

THAT is what I was hoping for! I'm glad that we're getting a DVD, but I would LOVE it if it were in that type of quality...I mean, what more could you ask for?

Why people assume the estate only have one VHS tape from 123 bad concerts. I think they meant they only have one VHS tape for that particular night because fans just want wembley 16 July 1988 and they listened to us and gave us what we wanted.

They could release it and give those guys credits. But the problem is that those films are not in their possession (although it is Michael's personal property). They can not force someone to give them the films, or songs, or anything. They can sue the guy (if they know who the guy or the company is) but that guy can simply say that it was a gift from MJ. It's the same story with will.i.am.

Riiiight? I just love the way it LOOKS. The full show edit wouldn't of course look like this, though.
Obviously, the full concert wouldn't have so many audience shots (and these are of course out of context. They were shot earlier in the concert when the sun was still out).

Oh, and I totally forgot!

If MJ didn't perform TWYMMF, then he WON'T be wearing the blue outfit for MAN IN THE MIRROR :(
I liked it better when he was singing it with the blue outfit instead...
Oh well, what can you do? *use another show recording*

A lot of fans wanted Wembley. I wouldn't say they specifically wanted a show where one of the songs was cut.

Seriously, my Moonwalker Bluray is SO precious to me...The quality is just OUTSTANDING...It's exactly how we're supposed to see MJ...in that type of kick ass quality...

I mean, I know it's wishful thinking, but it would be so amazing to have everything released on Bluray....I was quite disappointed when Vision was released on only DVD...His videos SHOULD be seen in the greatest quality possible...I know we can be picky about the quality, but really? It's MICHAEL JACKSON live! What other ways are we supposed to watch him if not the greatest quality that can be achieved?

I really don't care what he was wearing, but I know what you mean...it's those little things eh? :lol:

cause... i would pay 8 euros for the concert. its only a vhs rip. of course they worked on it. but the source is still a vhs.
so 8 euros is the max i would pay, if i buy it when its released.
bad remastered... I'm very happy with the sound, with the mastering. for me no need.
unreleased songs. i dont know how much unreleased songs are on it. so i cant say much about this. but i would pay 1 euros for each song. so i count 10 euros for the unreleased songs, and the mixes.
and 7 euros for the posters and booklets,...
25 euro. and that is if there are at least 4 or 5 unreleased songs.

I don't know if you noticed, but MJ's DVD's for HISTORY vol 1 and 2 were A LOT better quality than Visions.
Go ahead. See the difference. from a video that's featured on on of those DVD's and then watch the VISIONS version.
Apparently MJ had to be alive for there to be any quality control over his products...

I'm surprised that Moonwalker was actually given the treatment, too.
While it's not rocket science, but getting the original film negatives and transferring them to 720/1080p resolutions isn't the easiest process in the world. So I was happy they did that.

I didn't say it was important. Just basing that on the Moonwalker video is all.
I liked him wearing the blue better. Going from TWYMMF to MITM instead of Bad to MITM is so much better :)
