If a Bad tour dvd gets released, we're probably going to get whatever footage the estate has. We don't know what could be. Japan, Wembley, KC, LA, NYC? We'll have to wait and find out.

Who does the estate have to purchase the Bad Tour footage from? I figure that the film of any MJ concerts would have been owned by MJ.

Really? i never heard that one before. Where did you hear that?

And oh LA is my nr 1 pick, i would love to see that man in the mirror with the white shirt! i mean we have so manny video snippets of LA, (Brace yourself, soultrain, AMA, that biography thing) and we have so many pictures of that man in the mirror with the white shirt!lol. i so badly wanna see Los angeles! as much as i love the european leg of the tour, judging by the footage we've got thus far i have got to go with the american leg!

Wow, he did a little lean there too!
But it seems that he didn't do the little lean in every concert. Judging by the amateur recordings, he didn't do it in the Wembley concert :(
Well, but if they would release Wembley, I hope they cut in the lean from another concert.

If you mean the little lean which he didn't do with the hooks then you're wrong, he did that in Madrid and Tokyo 88 and probably in other concerts too. But if you mean the big lean from Moonwalker, it could be right. Does someone have more infos about the lean during the Bad tour?

And which songs did he perform in LA?

I have evidance, well not a video evidence, but a photo evidence of Michael doing the lean.

That was the movie. The soundrack of TII is part of the 10 project deal. So I guess we have TII, Michael, Vision, and Experience. So we have 6 more project do go.

That's the lean without hooks.
Does anyone know if he did the big lean with the hooks during the Bad tour?

And I still hope someone can tell me which songs he performed in LA because someone said he performed more songs there.

The 10 project deal was retroactive with the This Is It album, so that album is included in the deal.

The DVD Vision and the Michael album are also included in the deal. The video game is a separate thing and not included.

When I read the title of the topic I just went, Wembley, Wembley, Wembley hahahaha.
Lets hope that the Estate for once listens to the fans. If they do all my friends will be getting a dvd from me. Just to show how amazing he was, as they all keep complaining that Michael never sang live. Plus Wembley has been approved by Michael, very important for me and probably many others.

As for a re-release of Off the wall and Bad. What would be the perks for the fans? A little better quality. Or are they going to ad some demo's that haven't leaked so we'll buy it? I'm a little apprehancive about these 2 albums.

Yes, this is what I have always know, but now some people say the TII album was part of the TII deal. But I thinkt that is wrong, since Sony pay for the footage.

So where's the big difference between this and the Wembley setlist? (despite better song order at Wembely) These are the same songs he performed in London.

I've posted the information about this Bad tour coming out way back in February. It's always been a part of the plan! It will come out in 2012 with the Bad 25 album.

In audio recoding of this concert I have, there is nothing more. Maybe some extra songs were performed at the other night? :unsure:

was dirty diana done in la 1989 at all? the audio bootleg suggests he didn't.

the bad tour footage in the 1989 soul train awards (with snippets of bad, beat it, billie jean, man in the mirror) has footage of dirty diana. the other snippets are clearly la, as mj had the v-neck white t-shirt (not normal t-shirt like at wembley). however, we can't see mj's t-shirt in dirty diana so it's quite vague. in the youtube comments, birchey himself doesn't think dirty diana is from la.

i can't believe we had no idea mj did a mini-lean before the final dance break in smooth criminal until now! :p this is why we must have a bad tour dvd! preferably wembley, but i think there's more la footage around.
