American Idol - Season 9

So true Shayla. It makes me wonder if me and the judges were watching
the same show cuz they were praising some who were not so good, IMO.

Ah well. Let's see how the fella's do tonight.
 
Let's hope Page can redeem herself.
When she said she's gonna sing Smile, I thought cool, then the arrangements of MJ's Smile started to kick in but she butchered the song. Sorry. Didn't do for me. But hey, brownie points for being a MJ fan.

Crystal's a natural. Couple of others Dede, Lily..
 
No need to be sorry Christy, it's the truth. She sang it really badly.
Although I have heard the original a couple times, it's Michael's version
that I'm most fond of.....that I love.

Did you guys like Todricks song choice? I thought he threw down!

Yeah I like Todrick the most actually but he is on the bottom of dial idol :cry:
I really dont think I can keep watching if he doesnt make it through,
Its so terrible this year
 
^ He's in the bottom two? Wow. I thought his performance of Somebody To Love was the highlight of the evening.

Aww they just eliminated my favorite, Katelyn. Darn, I saw so much potential in her but she kept picking the wrong songs. Oh well, time to select another one to root for. Paige was saved and I have liked her thus far, although she didn't do that well with "Smile" last night.

For the first time I liked Todrick and his performance last night and Crystal is growing on me...
 
I agree with you. He shouldn't have be voted out. I also liked the other guy's song this week & didn't think he should have been voted out either.

You mean Alex. Yeah, he's good too.

I don't know about Idol. I think it has run it's course.

I'm like Shayla..... I was already having trouble staying interested,
and I was a ardent watcher too the first 7 years, and now
some of my faves are gone. It's like, what's the point.

Hmmm what Paige was thinking to herself when she sang "Smile"? I really like this girl, she's sweet and everything but when she sang that song I got angry for a moment, She ruined it completely! I like Big Mike's last performance..that dude ROCKS!
 
I'm sorry but I'm not feeling the hype around this year's "amazing girls". I think they have good voices but not that spectacular..

I'm with ya on that, the only one I think that has a shot at winning this is Crystal. As for the guys I was pissed at who went home I think his name was Alex (the one with the mullet) I loved his voice.

Same here. The only one I really think has "star" potential is Crystal.

Yes, Crystal was the only one that I actually remembered from Hollywood week.
 
Paige was very good today and with laryngitis! Crystal was good as well. Aaron was decent. Didi has improved. Everyone else didn't thrill me. I have a feeling Siobhan is going to milk that annoying screech of a high note, isn't she? The judges, even Simon, seem to be lowering their standards for good singing this season.

I agree. I cant believe that compared that screech to Adam. :doh:

That was too close for comfort for Paige. I'm glad she made it. I don't think she deserves to go just yet. I need to remember to start voting for the people I like or else the annoying ones stay, lol
