American Idol - Season 9

I liked crystal's performances... that's about it. Mike really didn't do much with the song.

I agree, I'm not a fan of Mike at all I hope he's the next one to go home. I wish they hadn't wasted that "save" on him.
 
I'm on the fence with Big Mike on ""Will you be there"
My heart leapt when he said he's gonna do an MJ song!
I thought .. OMG!.. is he gonna do a "This is it"?
Ah well........ props to him for daring to take on a Michael Jackson song, for that, gotta make his wish come true, top 3.
He redeemed himself with on the duet with Casey at least!
 
Well, I voted for Big Mike last night for my first and only time just because he sang an MJ song (couldn't resist). So I'm sorry to see him go. I would have preferred he be in the top 3 rather than Casey. I'm tired of his hair. :D

PS This is Crystal's to win.
 
Will You Be There is too epic to be done in 90 seconds. I reckon Mike would have done a lot better if he'd had at least 3 minutes.

For a one hour show, there's about 15 minutes of singing. It totally ruins it.

This year would have been shite had Crystal not been in it.

I was happy to hear that he chose an MJ song to perform too.
I wasn't blown away but. I like it. :unsure: Not bad.

aww I liked big Mike..though his last performance was not good. Sorry but I cant see anyone singing Will You Be There perfectly as Michael.
Well, Crystal or Lee will win..I like them both.

I'll be mad if Crystal doesn't win. Lee is okay but she's so much better.

I can't really pretend to be all that excited though. This season has been relatively boring (compared to past ones).
 
I thought this series would be a lot better when I first saw Crystal and Lily Scott (how did she not make the Top 12), Andrew Garcia & Siobhan.

But as they all left it's become increasingly reliant on Crystal, who is great but the other 59 minutes of the show when she isn't singing is just filler.

I kinda knew this would happen. The best don't usually win in these types of contests, it's the ones who make the best progress.
 
Wow, what a great season finale! Lots of surprises! I didn't know Janet was scheduled. All my favorite Idols there in a tribute for Simon (aww). Kelly Clarkson still sounds amazing! Carrie Underwood is perfection! Jordin Sparks! Bret Michaels just won't rest! LOL! And my favorite rock band of all time CHICAGO in a medley of their hits with Lee DeWyze! A year ago I would have known about this as I was a diehard fan of theirs. It's so unlike me not to know they would be on American Idol. I've been out of touch...

I'm not happy at all, cant stand Lee and I bet next year nobody will even remember him.
