I've wondered that but I just can't understand how she could not. She was around him as it was happening, how could she not see how much damage and how hurtful it was to him? How it killed him? I mean, maybe she doesn't, but it's confusing to me if true.

I do think she's using him to be "cool" at the expense of her father. It reminds me a lot about her other family members who seem to want fame at the expense of integrity too. I see some Toya in her sometimes and I'm worried about what it might involve in her future.

Stuff like "you're just jealous"... because he's a celebrity? Why would Omer be jealous? Omer's likely met hundreds of famous people because of Mike, why would this guy impress him? He's not famously talented. Why would she act like this is something to brag about or that anyone around her would be jealous of? Does she have people around her who are huge fans of his and thinks this makes her cool and she would rather have this coolness at Mike's expense? I can't understand it. Behaviour like this makes me feel sorry for her, because I feel sorry for anyone who enjoys celebrity/fame to the extent they'll deny themselves some integrity/self respect for it. If he thinks your father is a child molester, imagine what he thinks about you, Paris.

She was 11 when Michael died. I imagine before that and during the trial Michael did everything to shelter his kids from the allegations. So while they could see if their father felt unwell, was upset etc. but they did not link that to the allegations, because I'm sure they were sheltered from the allegations.

While I don't like the fact she's hanging out with Sixx I wouldn't be so harsh on her (yet) as to compare her to LaToya and other family members who were backstabbing Michael while they were fully adult and totally understood their actions. A 14 year old is not a baby but she's not yet an adult either, so I don't hold her up to the same standards as adults.

My question is rather where are all the adults? What are Katherine and TJ doing? Oh I forgot it was TJ taking her to the concert... That's the problem. That in this family noone seems to care about the allegations against Michael and about how to defend him against them. Someone should explain these things to Paris, but it seems like too much to ask from this family. :smilerolleyes:

In short: I do not blame Paris, I blame the adults around her.

When she is an adult and continues to associate herself with people who bad mouthed her father like many of her adult relatives do today, then there will be no more excuses. It will be very sad but, I would have to ignore her as I do the rest of the Jacksons if this happens when she is a grown women. Right now imma give her the benifit of the doubt though! Because it looks like a phase and IMO she doesn't really know much about real rock legends that's for sure and that whole Oprah shit I blame that on Katherine.

I agree. If, as an adult, she will associate herself with people who backstabbed or mocked Michael, Michael's daughter or not, she will be no better in my eyes than LaToya or Rebbie. That would be very heartbreaking though, because it would mean Michael truly had NO ONE in this world to have his back, not even his own children. But I hope it won't come to that. At this time I give her the benefit of doubt that she does not fully understand what she's doing and how it looks - and I really don't think she does.

I also think she might not be able to pick up on the nuances in Sixx's "apology" yet - that he was not really sorry about what he said about Michael, but only about hurting her feelings.

It seems she's dating some new guy. I'm wondering if this whole Motley Crue thing is something that he's a fan of, so being a teenage girl, she's a fan of them too. I may be wrong. But I suspect it's because of her friends influence anyway, and that this is something she wants to do to impress some people in her life. She's really impressionable, like when she was suddenly BFFs with Spencer she was posting photos where she was doing the same make up Spencer was.

I don't know if she realizes what she's compromising just for that though.

Forgive, but don't forget.

I don't blame Paris for this, she's still a child and I have no doubt that to her forgiveness seems like the right thing to do. But her legal guardians should be protecting her from this kind of people. She can listen to their music if she wants to, it's just music. But she shouldn't be hanging around a man who obviously has not a good heart. A good-hearted man would never have said the things he said. Paris is obviously a bit naive, which is okay for a 14-year-old. But what are Katherine and TJ doing? I must say I am not surprised, really. Katherine is good at giving love, but not at protecting. She never could protect Michael either...

Well we will see if he ever says anything bad about Michael again and his attitude. I think people just want Paris to be careful. You can move on but you should never forget.

Actually, Paris IS influential Crue may be known to past generations, but Paris has the power to make them popular with THIS current generation of the much younger people. Sixx knows that. So, Sixx knows that Michael truly has world wide appeal. The concept of forgiveness would not have to be spoken of the way it is, if it wasn't a difficult concept. I don't think Paris is naive IMO

@ParisJackson Hey Paris, instead of advertising all the rock bands on your t-shirts that dissed your father when he was alive, maybe you should start showing off more Michael Jackson t-shirts in the public because we're still trying to clear his name. A lot of people in the media tried to do damage to your father's image for years, and they brainwashed a lot of people to turn against him and believe those lies. Even the band KISS dissed your father and they still believe the lies. We all need to help advertise his legacy because he deserves it after all the cruel things people did to him over the years.

I have the slight feeling that Paris will learn some things the hard way.... She is very young and still has plenty to learn. The road is still very, very, very long. But worse than that is to remember that Michael is not here beside their children to guide them. Just sad and painful to think about it.... :( :cry: *big sigh*

It's cruel the tweet Cassie quoted but it's absolutely true...

I know forgiveness was part of Michael's philosophy but he'd NEVER HANG OUT, or leting himself to ASOCIATE WITH HIS OWN HATERS! Forgiveness is not an excuse to do those two things I mentioned before!

I'm glad Nikki personally apologized again to Paris at the concert. He said he was ashamed for what he did. He did not have to personally tell her that. The love and forgiveness of that child could very well have touched or change that mans heart. We don't know his heart. That was MJ's message that love & forgiveness will heal the world. But I agree that doesn't mean you have to trust or associate with those who have injured or hurt you. Then again she only went to a concert. She is not going to be palling around with him. I think the problem was the way she put it out there like she was just being rebellious and throwing it in our face. Even Obee didn't like that photo. I'm glad she gave an explanation that she is trying to follow her father example. We cant really argue with that. But she does need to be careful.

I think Madina might love the famous world she's being exposed to through Paris as well, so no surprises she's supporting him too.

Of course he's apologising to Paris, he'd feel like he has too, when he goes public with his apology and apologises to Michael, then maybe we'd take him a little more seriously.

Im not sure if this is the reason for Paris's tweets last night, but she posted a photo of Crew's concert on instagram and I wrote that I hope she knows the extent of Nikki said about her father and those comments are the reason MJ fam hates him, and it was one of the last comments on there before she deleted them all and posted those tweets, so I know she saw it, I didn't read any other comments on there but I'm sure some others may have warned her also.

As for Obee...he is old enough and smart enough to know what's going on, and after Nikki apologised that time Obee tweeted him saying he knew exactly what he was doing. So I hope that he talks some sense into her.

When I was 14 I was a die hard MJ fan and I knew what people were saying about him and the difference between right and wrong.

Paris is the good kid. she just needs the caring guardian to set rules and guidances like her father, will teach her right from wrong (away from public eyes). her father used to give her 100% attention and put paris and her brothers above everything. Now their life completely changed, she couldn't get the attention from her guardians like she used to since lost her father so it's understandable there is the huge void in paris life she desperately wants to be filled, which lead to her very active social media life and seeking attention and recognition through celebs and strangers IMO. 14 years old is very impressionable. this Nikki guy really...Smh... Sigh... Michael would be so furious to see his daughter around people like that guy. Nikki sixx not just insulted and attacked Michael, what more unacceptable is the sickening and horrify things that guy came out with. I hope Paris never ever read them and she shouldn't in her age. I realized Paris used a lot F word in her twitter lately.
Paris is the smart girl with Michael's blood in her so I hope her strength and the value her father gave her will guide her through the tough time. Being a girl she said she tried to make her dad proud.

Besides he apoligized to her for talking about Michael but not for the content of his jokes. Doesn't she sees the difference? If he really changed his view about Michael, why he doesn't say it publicly? He's worthless.
