That's what I was thinking!im not sure how this might sound but what about getting one of the well known MJ impersonators to go through with the show in tribute to mike??
I don't think that rehersal footage is gonna be that great. Mike never really put everything into his rehersals, he never had to. I don't like the idea and don't wanna see a half ass this is it concert.
In 2006, a hologram of Robbie Williams famously appeared on stage with Take That

Imagine if they could do something like that with Michael?
Sure, it won't really be him... but it'll be the closest thing to the 'This is it' gigs we could possibly get.
He wrote most of the songs he sings on tour.
He created the dance steps he does on stage.
He creates the costumes that he wears on stage.
He designed the tickets for "This Is It'.
He designs the stage lighting.
He chooses the set list.
A Michael Jackson concert is wonderful, incredible, extraordinary, fa nominal, out of this word because it is Michael's heart for all of us to see, hear, and treasure.
Having someone else to do the show is not the same.
Having a hologram is not the same.
I want Michael Jackson in the flesh. I want a DVD. I want to see/hear the heart and soul of Michael.
Hmmm, despite all the contradicting reports over the past couple of weeks, Michael WAS 50, it was widely expected that he was going to mime for a lot if not all of the show and the released rehearsal footage suggested a performance that obviously wasn't going to match that of his peak shows. This Is It was put together for Michael to perform 50 dates as he would have been today, for someone who hadn't performed regularly this decade and who supposedly wouldn't have been performing at all but for his debts. Seeing him doing it would nevertheless have been magical and made many dreams come true, but doing the This Is It shows exactly as they were intended with other artists in Michael's role isn't necessarily going to be the greatest tribute to his legend.
