I expect that he looks so 'concentrated' here because he is probably 'lip-reading' because of the volume of music in Studio 54! That's also possibly why many people looked 'bored' if not dancing...I guess conversation might have been difficult.
(I love 70's velvet jackets, and the fancy waistcoats as in pic 1^!)

Oh it was difficult for sure. I remember being in the clubs (disco) and people talking to each other and you couldn't hear one word they were saying unless they shouted right in your ear. You'd just smile and nod at them.:cheeky:

Although I couldn't find Michael in the background of any of these pix at Studio 54, I thought these were fun anyway-it's Diana dancing with Andre Leon Talley and she's REALLY dancing. No wonder Michael was so enamored of her.
She's getting pretty crazy here.
Disco music will do that to you-I remember.
