I wouldn't say he dropped the ball. I love the lushness of it and the ending. And overall prefer it.I almost agree but Imo Neff-U dropped the ball really hard with his TWYLM remix, that's about the only thing that's stopping him from being amongst one of the best producers to have worked for the Estate.
But changing the drums absolutely was the wrong move. And literally sampling the phone call of MJ dictating the drum pattern just to... Not do that. Is so egregious as to be almost hilarious tbh. Like you had one job. It doesn't ruin it but it just feels so much less affecting.
