Darmin, I don't know if you saw my question the first time.

What about the suggestive part in the middle of Smooth Criminal (when they all moan "Annie are you ok")? Has it been edited like in the "HIStory on Film Vol 2" DVD version?

Yes, that seems to be intact.

Another thing that's been bothering me is the framing. In some shots I feel there are some parts in the bottom/top that shouldn't have been left out.
I hope they do a new transfer for the next release of this movie to correct the issues.

I've finally watched the blu-ray. I must say it's a great transfer. You have great detail and colors are set very good, much better then the dvd.
The only parts were the picture lacks are "retrospective", LMA and Speed Demon, because of the effects that are added. In the parts were Michael is dancing with the rabbit the picture is like washed out, but in the sceenes without the rabbit is great.
MITM, SC, CT are awesome. The whole movie doesn't suffer from the croping.
If you have a blu-ray player, don't hesitate to buy it, it's great upgrade over the dvd.
About the cutting. I must say i always thought, kicking/hitting the girl and the needle sceen was too over the top. So i don't mind the few missing sec.

watched my blu ray this morning, Smooth Criminal should be viewed in true HD, no other way! lol the whole movie is incredible! The over dubbing of the sound is so obvious to me now :( hehe but the movie still stand the test of time, a true reflection of Michaels imaginative creativity, love it! takes me back, it really does. Now onto Bad Tour on blu ray....you know it!

Got my UK Blu-Ray yesterday. Worked fine on my U.S. PS3.

there was a very small gain of horizontal but considerable vertical loss of picture

well ive just bought it and im really disapointed the entire movie is ..well for me... bad quality.....thought it was going to be in HD but all i can see it grain upon grain.....typical... poor conversion of this amazing movie ....

Can you even lose the grains on old films?
I thought it was a good conversion, the colours looks so much better! Shame about no special features!
Bring on Thriller 3d and bad tour in HD!

So I pre ordered my steelbook from amazon:)
I don't mind about the cuts I didn't like these scenes anyway they are like somebody said before too much over the top.

I don't understand why this has not been released in the U.S.

So I guess the blu-ray's on HMV are okay on US blu-ray players?

I'm hoping that when MJ's new album comes out in November, Moonwalker is released also. It seems that MJ releases in the US come in bunches.

FILM = GRAIN people. Yes you can remove some, but not all. Restoration like that cost a lot of money though and you have to wonder if it is really a priority for Sony to do that or just ship it out so fans quite whining ...

Most of you today are used to clean HD and that is because it is filmed DIGITALLY ...
If there are any artifacts in digital, it is much easier and costs less to clean up.
