Seriously, it might have started like a weird thing (during summer breaks, mom would encourage us to read to our dogs when they (mom, dad) were not available), but apparently people picked up on it, and now there are programs where reading to dogs is encouraged because it helps kids develop their reading skills. :D If you don't believe it.......Google it. :wild:
