Yes it's possible that an announcement will be made in the next four weeks (that doesn't mean it will happen, or that it is likely).

We don't the know the strategy to be taken by the MJ Estate/Sony and so we can't know how far in advance the announcement will be made. Could be no notice at all like Beyonce, or it could be two or three months. I have been expecting (for atleast the last year) that the album will drop in June with a formal announcement being made in March/April.

Every day you wait you get closer to the date the announcement will be made...

sorry for making some fans nervous! She (Pearl Jr) corrected due completing her post with something that has to do with Jermaines Book relating to her family. I REALLY HATE THOSE POSTS MAKING FANS EXCITED ....AND IN THE END........NOTHING! ONLY TO MAKE HERSELF MORE INTERESTING! Shame on it!

Michael Prince's tweet relates to me as there is something coming soon but he has been told by the estate to keep his mouth shut until they are ready to announce the new record.. personally i think i may buy the album digitally and buy the vinyl :D

I hope Thicke's not on the album, would seriously ruin what's supposed to be the "main single" according to Timbaland.

Pearl Jr is a Hoax believer. Why would anyone expect her to mention anything other than the hoax?

Yeah, Michael Prince meant the Grammy performance. My bad! But, he (somehow) confirmed again that the album will be relased.

Robin Thicke and MJ's Chicago have nothing to do with anything. lol Its just a misunderstanding from twitter. But I do hope an annoucement is in the works.

i believe it was November 6th 2010.. from memory, someone correct me if i'm wrong.. if i'm accurate, it was announced one month & 7 days before UK Release..

It was announce on November 1, I believe. I remember it was one week before Breaking News premiered, which was on November 8.

interesting.. well, considering the difference between 'Michael' & 'BAD25' this should
be a purely stunning album with a mix of the best leaked Song's and never heard Song's:D oh, and should be announced around 2 month's before release! just basic Maths ;) hehe, no but seriously.. I'm so excited :) :woohoo:

I can't wait for this album to be released!

If Blue Gangsta, A Place With No Name, Chicago and STTR are all on the album it sure will be a hit I'm sure! (none of us have heard Chicago, but from what Timberland has said it's good!)

I really think this album can be better than Michael (which I happen to like a lot believe it or not!) BUT I also think it has a great chance to sell better if promoted good, and if some strong singles are released!

2014 will no doubt be a (yet another!!) great year to be a Michael Jackson fan!

I don't know why Sony wait for announcement ? Its begin of the year, there is no new album of mayor artist, it's perfect time to announce album and his title, than release a single, next give us tracklist and album cover and 1-2 months later release album :D !

it's a boring time for me to be Michael Jackson fan right now tbh.. i just hope we get some news soon. I am hoping to hear a few more song's from the sessions Michael did with Theron Feemster in 2005-2008! especially silent spring.. i think this could be a very memorable album.. but they should include 3-4 from post trial.. and at least one from 2008.. just my opinion.

Don't get your hopes up just yet. We don't even know if a spring 2014 release date is confirmed. Dr. Freeze only said that it looked like it was dropping in the spring. It could very easily be pushed back into the summer. A watched pot never boils, as PG over at MaxJax has said about the situation.

Actually only 16 months since bad 25 was released. not even 1 1/2 years . The wait for any MJ release when he was here was much longer, so we can't hold the estate to a different standard. They are not going to rush it.. They trying to perfect the release. Plus there is lot more than just recording and mixing music involved. Its a business venture as well involving many people and all ducks need to be in row for everything to come together.

Your post on chat was odd. stating the MJ Estate released a beatles project ?? The Michael Jackson Estate has NOT released any Beatles project. .. I think you are confusing Sony music and Sony ATV which publishes many artists with the role of the MJ estate. Who has nothing to do with releasing those projects. They are separate entities.

still.. it doesn't suffice there job tbh.. people want true Michael.. highest definition of natural beauty. it's all we have left of him, if we lose that.. nothing comes to be in the future. #fact
